- Summary
Today we shoot the SigAir Super Target air pistol for accuracy. I’ll tell you right now that, based on what I saw today, this won’t be the only accuracy test for this pistol.
The test
I shot the pistol from a sandbag rest at 10 meters. I rested the bottom of the grip against the sandbag so the pistol was absolutely still. That was how I shot it in 2019 and it still works best for me.
I shot five-shot groups while wearing 1.25 + diopter reading glasses to see the front sight as clearly as possible. I shot both domed and wadcutter pellets because there are so many great new ones coming to market.
First pellet-Olympia lead free dome
First to be tested was the 5.5 grain Olympia lead free dome. This may be the first time I’ve tried this pellet, or if I have tried it before it was only one other time.
Because it was the very first shot for accuracy since 2019, I looked where the first shot went. It hit the bottom of the bull near 6 o’clock which I thought was odd because when I last tested this pistol it was pretty much sighted in. It has open sights that don’t change much over time — or so I thought. But I was on paper and in the bull so I finished the group without looking at it again until I went downrange to change the target.
To my surprise the last four pellets were in a group measuring 0.103-inches between centers and they were all where the pistol was shooting back in 2019. For some reason just that first shot landed low. This 4-shot group was the best group of today’s test, though is is not the full five shots. That tells me this pellet needs to be tested again. The first shot enlarged this group to 1.118-inches between centers.
The Sig Super Target put five Olympia domes into 1.118-inches at 10 meters with the last four going into 0.103-inches.
Second pellet-JTS Dead Center wadcutter
Next up was the JTS Dead Center wadcutter. These have tested with mixed results in other airguns. But the Sig Super Target likes them a lot! Five went into 0.335-inches between centers at 10 meters. It is the best five shot group for today. The group is a little left of the center of the bull, as was the Olympia dome before it, but for today I decided not to adjust the sights.
i
The Sig Super Target likes JTS wadcutters. Five went into 0.335-inches at 10 meters.
Trigger
If the Sig Super Target has a weakness it’s the trigger. It’s long and mushy with no real stop before letoff. And DO NOT try to adjust the trigger under any circumstances, other than to lighten it! I tried each of the adjustments for you in 2019 and wound up removing the pull weight adjustment screw from the pistol altogether. It wasn’t easy to put it back in again — it took many tries over several days to get it back. It passes through the trigger return spring that puts tension on the screw as you are trying to start the threads.
I thought I would be the only one to do that until a reader contacted me, saying he had done the same thing with his Super Target.
Trigger adjustment help
I wrote a great piece about adjusting the pistol’s trigger in Part 4 of the 2019 report. Click on this link and read it before you attempt to adjust the trigger.
Third pellet-Air Arms 8.44-grain dome
The next pellet I tested at 10-meters was the Air Arms 8.44-grain dome. They didn’t do as well as I expected, with five going into 0.6-inches between centers. That would be quite acceptable and even good for a great many air pistols, but for this Sig Super Target it’s mediocre.
Five Air Arms 8.44-grain domes went into 0.6-inches at 10 meters. For many air pistols this would be good, but not for the Sig Super Target.
Fourth pellet-H&N Finale Match Light
The fourth pellet I tested was the H&N Finale Match Light. In 2019 this pellet was the most accurate one in the Super Target, barely edging out the RWS R10 Match Pistol pellet. Today the Super Target put five into a 0.59-inch group at 10 meters.
The Super Target made a 0.59-inch group with five H&N Finale Match Light pellets.
Fifth pellet-RWS R10 Match Pistol
The last pellet I tested today was the RWS R10 Match Pistol wadcutter. In 2019 these grouped just larger than the H&N Finale Match Light pellets. Today these were the better of the two. Five R10s went into 0.4-inches between centers at 10 meters.
Five RWS R10 Match Pistol pellets made this 0.4-inch group at 10 meters.
Notice that both the R10 Pistol and the H&N Finale Match Light pellets are perfectly centered. This is why I didn’t adjust the sights during today’s test.
Discussion
The Sig Super Target pistol is the real deal — an informal target pellet pistol. Although it has a poor trigger and lacks target grips, it shoots nearly as well as a world-class 10-meter target pistol. Too bad it’s no longer available.
Also notice that domes tore clean holes. So the velocity of the pistol is fine as it is. That’s good because the “advice” that Steveoo gave on the Airgun Nation forum did not work at all. I’m glad I took the time and spent the money to test what he said because now all of you can save your money. This pistol doesn’t need more velocity and even if it did Steveoo’s method won’t get you there anyway.
Summary
The SigAir Super Target air pistol turns out to be a very nice informal target air pistol. I think there will be at least one more accuracy test of the Super Target. I plan to test that Olympia dome pellet a second time.
And I’m still hoping to acquire an FAS 604 to compare to this pistol — just to see if what a lot of people say about it being much better than the FAS 6004 that the Super Target is based on is correct.
The Sig Super Target is an accurate air pistol in its own right. If you have one, get it out and shoot it.
B.B.
I stopped reading after “bad trigger.” I ruins all the fun for me.
-Y
Yogi,
You would like an Izzy.
RR,
Yes, he would!
BB
Yes, I would! Except where it is made. My Diana 10M has about the best trigger that I have ever used.
-Y
Yogi,
I had a Beeman 800. It was not bad at all.
Well, I cannot say much about our political situation right now either. I bought mine fifteen years ago when we were “friends” with them.
RR,
That is kinda like saying, “You would like a Shelby Cobra.” ;^)
Michael
Michael,
Hmm. You might be right there. I have never been behind the wheel of such, but I can imagine that would be nice to drive at least once.
Yogi,
Many years ago i had a long written exchange with Jim Chapman about triggers. I had gotten his attention by calling the folks who blame their shooting difficulties, trigger nazi, because in my opinion if you are good you can make almost every trigger work. The SIG’s trigger is not intended to be a Match Trigger… unfortunately the marketing folks don’t know that.
If B.B. says he doesn’t like a trigger remember what that actually means. He was on his way to being a World Class pistol shooter and it wasn’t a trigger that fouled him up.
Trying to NOT put words in his mouth but he should evaluate this trigger compared to a service pistol converted to be a Target Service Pistol.
shootski
shootski,
A good trigger is one where you know EXACTLY when let off will be. B.B. can “work with” triggers that are not very good. So if he says it is poor, it must be horrible!!!
-Y
Yogi,
Don’t blow smoke! Please!
I’m just done with a great HIIT Workout so my endorphins are really high and i hope it will help me give you my reply with the greatest tact i can muster!
“The trigger is an absolute delight to shoot. However, it is not a conventional target trigger. Stage two does not have a definite stop — at least not the way I have it adjusted. It’s a soft stop and stage two does have a very little movement. I can tell where it is at all times and it’s wonderful to work with. I know exactly when it gets ready to fire, and I can concentrate on the front sight for the release.”
Those are Tom Gaylord’s written words in Part 4.
NEED I SAY MORE.
shootski
PS: there are a number of schools of thought on trigger let off. You apparently belong to one of them and i belong to the one that doesn’t care about knowing when the gun will fire just that the trigger breaks like a glass rod at Let Off.
We will just need to agree to differ on that point since it is doubtful that either of us will change our opinion on that point.
My SIG does as well as any gunsmithed Service Pistol i have ever shot; and the trigger has a far lighter Pull Weight than any of them had/have.
shootski,
My SigAir Super Target must have a good (not great, but good) trigger because I don’t remember how it is. If it were poor or great, I would remember. I would also remember if I felt it was affecting the accuracy of my pistol.
So the trigger on mine is just fine as is.
Michael
Michael,
One less thing to distract from the FULL shooting experience. Can’t complain about that for sure.
I had been shooting the RWS R10, 7.0 Gr. almost exclusively before today.
I tried some of the Qiang Yuan Olympic Pellets, .177 Cal, 8.2 Gr. Wadcutter this evening to see how the heavier pellets would do.
I will post pictures of the first 5 shot rested group after i shoot some other lighter pellets for comparison.
For now i’m going to watch the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony tonight. Tomorrow morning i’m going to get up to watch the Woman’s 400 Freestyle Prelims.
Enjoy your SIG Super Target Michael…poor trigger and all ;^)
shootski
shootski,
I will not be watching or following anything happening over there in and around Paris. That whole mess has become WAAAAY too political even for me. I would rather watch old Star Bleck reruns.
RidgeRunner,
I watch the people that i have been fortunate enough to know. Katie Ledecky did great in Prelims and i’m going to hope she prevails in Finals.
The rest is just mostly as you say.
Although the French did pulled off a spectacular production on their Opening Ceremony.
shootski
The drag queen last supper, hardly. Let’ s just insult 3 billion of the world’s population plus Islam considers Jesus a prophet, so we may not have heard the last from them
Brent,
The production was a spectacle.
But do consider this:
Matthew 7:1-3
The Last Supper is not even covered in two of the Gospels? The painting depicting a meal during Passover is not what needs to be revered but rather the teachings of the Savior. The possibility that the drag queen last supper was mocking my Faith is water off my broad Christian back.
I think we must try to be more as Christ would have and want us to be.
shootski
I am glad I missed it.
Brent,
You are correct that in a World we once knew their were principles…sadly that is one of the things the current Culture War has tried mightily to diminish.
I’m just working hard to not violate my belief in my reaction due to the Devil and minor devils that try to tempt > in these days of trouble and tribulation.
I find that a smile and and the words:
I am a Believer
disarms their motivations best.
shootski
I personally cannot encourage that mess. I do not watch football since they made it a political thing.
Shootski,
It’s the principle of the thing. As I understand the Olympic Games, they are a time for nations to get together to compete to celebrate our shared humanity while putting aside political and religious differences and commentary. The drag queen last supper depiction violates that spirit. I can’t see it any plainer than that.
Brent
Funny thing, FM and Mrs. just returned from Paris – enjoyed the visit but sure glad to be back in the good ole USA. We were not there looking for answers to questions that bothered us so…or for the Olympics, but Paris was a part of a very enjoyable D-Day 80th Anniversary river cruise which started in London. FM breathed in a lot of history and even learned a few new things about the events of 1944.
We endured various irritations caused by that overdone event – sorry, Olympics’ enthusiasts, no apologies though – but our trip had been planned months in advance and, who knew? The “party” started earlier than expected. While there, heard a poll of Parisians found 44% of them would have preferred the big hoopla to have gone somewhere else.
As FM commented to his Better Half, “see how smart we are? We did not pay 900 euros for the ‘privilege’ of getting drenched for hours, watching boats with hoppin’ athletes cruising by and other weird stuff that had NOTHING to do with the spirit or purpose of Olympic competition.” Nine-hundred euros would buy a nice airgun…
God help us. Now, back to catching up on all the blog posts missed since July 7th.
shootski,
When I shoot rifles with the artillery hold my “heartbeat twitch” moves my POA 3/4″ to the right.
If I do not know when the trigger will break most of my shots will be wide right!
When I shoot my pistols single handed, I do not shoot pistols two handed or powder burners, I wobble between on target and off target. I need to know that my trigger will break when I wobble on target not off.
My glass rod experience has been with thin pipettes. As you know, glass has very little tensile strength. These pipettes will bend and then with a little more pressure they break. It is that little more pressure, and knowing where it is, that makes a good trigger!!
Have a nice weekend.
-Yogi
To all you SIG trigger fan boys and girls read this:
https://www.npr.org/2024/07/26/nx-s1-5023043/sig-sauer-guns-military-new-hampshire-investigation
-Yogi
Yogi,
Some simple things to try:
Shooting Glove
Only squeeze the trigger when the sights start toward the On Target when they get On Target stop the increase in pressure on the Trigger until the Sight Picture starts to move back to On Target. The key to that is that your brain is always showing you sight picture history and not current reality.
Workouts help with strength, balance, and muscle control.
Pipettes are hollow tubes of glass. I have seen nails driven with Borosilicate Glass RODS.
My kayak is loaded on the roof rack :^)
Please do enjoy your weekend as well!

BB
Speaking of “informal target pellet pistol” how about throwing an HW75 in the next contest along with the FAS? 17 years ago you had mentioned that you could score a perfect 50 for 5 shots with it. It will be fun to see a small race with the three pneumatic pistols.
Bill,
I have an HW 75 and it’s great.
The trigger is even better than a Rekord in my opinion.
I believe it shouldn’t be less accurate than the SIG, but I probably wouldn’t be able to match BB’s excellent groups from this review, at least not with a lot of practice.
Stephan
BB,
I think I will just hang on to my Izzy. The Predom Lucznik has a bad trigger, but otherwise is a superb shooter. The truth is it has a pretty crisp let off, but has a very long first stage. I need to see if I can do something about that (note to self). Now, where did I put that round tuit?
Nice shooting! This is further evidence that the pursuit of higher and higher velocities doesn’t make good sense. Especially for 10-meter target shooting.
On the subject of informal target pistols I finally ordered a Diana airbug a few weeks back and it’s been a blast. Need to do some more formal accuracy testing but I was shooting my 2.5” steel rimfire spinner the other day at 30 yards with HN econs and it had no problems doing it.
FAS 604 For Sale
https://www.armslist.com/posts/14800880/phoenix-arizona-air-guns-for-sale–fas-604-air-pistol
Kevin,
Thanks but I have one the seller is looking for. It’s LNIB.
Also, that website is way too difficult to set up an account!
BB
He’s asking $350 for the 604.
That sounds entirely reasonable.
Hmm.
How much do I have on my Airgun account?
Ian,
Buy it for me, please, and I’ll send you the money.
BB
Tom, dropping the first shot could have been the gun as it hadn’t woken up yet.
4 Shots open sights at 10 meters .10 is truly outstanding!.
You still got it!!!
Well, I figured out why it is priced so reasonably.
It is actually a FAS 6004 (shown in the photo too).
He either made an honest mistake, and dropped a zero ( I have done that myself).
Or he dropped a zero hoping to make a fast sale. I want to think it is the former, not the later.
Oh well, back to the search…
Happy Friday every one.
Ian.
Too bad Sig pulled the plug on the springer rifle and this pistol.
I have an Izzy target and it’s amazingly accurate. It is sitting in a case beside my desk. Today’s article prompts me to get it out and do some shooting this weekend. Several of my guns were bought after reading one of BB’s articles. The Izzy is one of them.
sw1917,
The Izzy is indeed an awesome pistol. It is difficult to shoot any pistol after shooting it. In my early years I sent quite a few very nice pistols to new owners because of mine. It has only been in recent years that I have managed to hang on to some of the “old gals” that have come my way.
I really can’t understand what they were trying to achieve with this pistol. It seems to compete with the Weihrauch HW40/Beeman P17 which is much cheaper and probably has a way better trigger (I’ve only shot the HW40 and it’s superb). Here in the UK the SIG is the equivalent of over $500 which is over twice the cost of a Gamo Compact which is what I’d consider a proper target pistol.
I really can’t understand why a manufacturer hasn’t tried to make a budget target pistol to compete with the Gamo.
Ade C,
I’ll give it a shot.
Have you ever shot a SIG P-210 firearm? If you have you already know at least part of the answer.
SIG USA brought back a modern edition of the Swiss Service Pistol and a Target version firearm which to this day still commands some very large amounts of money to own. They built on that perceived demand for the folks that could not or did not want to shell out the money for the original firearm and for substantially less money the SSP Airgun.
shootski
Ade C
As Shootski pointed out I myself was a wannabe owner of it just because I will never be able to get the P 210. Sigair USA obviously hab done a good market research. Regarding its competitors the direct one is the HW 75 and not the 40.
I really wish BB could race them against each other, along with the FAS. It should be very interesting.
Dennis Adler did on the Airgun Experience blog that Pyramyd seems to have mostly taken down now.
Here’s the FAS 6004 review where the HW 75 and V10 are also brought in. Luckily, they seem to be archived on the wayback machine, but many of the photos aren’t there.

And a more comprehensive survey of target SSP pistols including the HW 75 and HW40/P3

B.B. and Everyone,
File this under “Why every airgunner must own a chrony.” My chrony has posed a question I must ask all of you.
Today I’ve been shooting a half dozen springers that I haven’t shot in awhile — a lot of fun until my chrony sent off an alarm. (I took the opportunity to shoot each air rifle a bit over my chrony before using it to kill some feral pop cans.)
I had just finished shooting my recently produced HW50, shooting very consistently between 775 and 778 fps., although it has a slight vibration.
Then the alarm went off. I shot, for the very first time in a LONG time, my BSA Airsporter breakbarrel. I noticed the cocking effort felt virtually identical to the HW50. And the first shot registered 776 on the chrony to boot!
But then the second shot was 475. After that was, in order, 445, 420, 405, 395, 425, 430, 420, and 425. The firing behavior is a bit harsh, but there is no terrible vibration to speak of.
From your considerable experience, any preliminary diagnoses?
Thanks much in advance for your expertise.
Michael
Michael,
Don’t own one but…
Breech seal?
Visual inspection.
Tissue test.
Exclude simple stuff first.
Maybe a drop of chamber silicon oil next.
Hope it is an easy fix.
shootski
shootski,
The breech seal does seem to be too low, not sitting above the plane of the breech. I forget how to do the tissue test. How does one do that again?
Michael
shootski,
I looked up how to do the tissue test. I’ll report back.
Michael
shootski,
Please look for my results below. Long story (my specialty) short, it was an easy fix.
Thanks so very much for your advice.
Michael
Michael,
It may not be the rifle; it may be how you test it.
I have found when I hold the muzzle too close to the chronograph start screen that sometimes the chrony reads several hundred f.p.s. slow. Try backing up from the start screen by a foot or even two and shoot the test again. It sometimes helps.
BB
B.B.,
That is something I never knew. I was indeed putting the muzzle only a few inches before the first chrony sensor. I will do as you instruct and report back.
I will also do the tissue test as shootski advises. The breech seal is flat and looks too low to provide a, well, seal. :^)
Michael
B.B.,
I tried the tissue test and there were no signs air was escaping at the breech. Nevertheless, a slight shim would be a good thing.
Your advice regarding the chrony was absolutely correct. I had the muzzle just a few inches from the chrony before. This time I had it about 14-16 inches from it, and the numbers were, in order, 722, 738, 749, 751, and 739.
And after the ten shots of yesterday and the five shots of today, it seems to cock with a couple pounds less effort (or it strengthened my arm ever-so-slightly), and it seems a bit less forceful in its recoil than yesterday. Obviously, it needs to be shot (and appreciated) more. I have been neglecting this small batch of air rifles the past couple years.
Success!
Thanks so very much to you and shootski. Friends in need are friends indeed!
Michael
Michael,
Thanks for the feedback. I have seen this several times and it’s weird, but I reckoned with your eyesight you might be holding the muzzle too close.
BB
B.B.,
You are correct, Sir! I put a couple skid marks on the top of my (plastic) chrony in the past, and because I lost my depth perception when I lost sight in my right eye, I get close to be certain not to shoot the chrony instead of the berm at the perimeter of our backyard.
By the by, my left eye is my dominant, so I lucked out there.
Michael
Michael,
Glad something simple worked!
Tom’s advice was one of the problems with optical Chronographs that caused me to move to a Doppler RADAR Chronograph; well beside shooting the down range Chronographs recording Coefficient of Drag data which got expensive.
Keep having fun shooting,
shootski
Just got an unexpected letter from the California Franchise Tax Board and the acronym BOHICA immediately came to mind. Sure enough.
“Because we have not received your 2023 tax payment as of yet we are charging you a $227.71 Penalty and a $51.24 Interest Charge.”
Heck, why not just confiscate one of my daughters along with it.
Evidently something went very wrong with Turbo Tax. Nothing was ever deducted from my bank. My bad, I don’t worry about money too much and skip checking my statements these days. Then I got locked out trying to pay online.
Time to kick back and chill. It will pass. Then I got a call, The UPS driver was at my gate with a long box. Totally forgot. The Tactical Avenger X was here. What a mood change. Poured a cold beer and proceeded to open the box.
Boy … We have come a long way in airgun development these days. Made my day!
Actually, I need it like another hole in my head and I can always blame the great enabler here. Wouldn’t miss this one for the world for my “Collection” of course. Right. If it works as BB says I won’t be disappointed at all.
Now I just need one more Airgun.
Lets see now, how I can make it a little bit more Tac-T-Cool. Something looks missing. 😉
Bob M,
Great that your Tactical Avenge X arrived!
I can probably arrange for a LARGE dense object to be reentered at location 38°34′00″N 121°20′46″W / 38.5665310°N
shootski
Shootski,
You lost me. Never had to enter coordinates into an aircraft computer.
Bob M,
CFTB becomes (GZ) ground zero.
But i scrambled the coordinates for BLOG safety.
If they were CLEAR alphanumerical you could just copy and PASTE into Maps APP and it would be GZ.
shootski
Bob M
I had the same thing happen to me several years ago using TurboTax. Fortunately I had hard copied TurboTax documents verifying I had filed my tax return and I sent this to Internal Revenue along with a check for presumed penalty charges. Long story short several months later I received a check from IRS refunding the penalty charge. Like you I had not followed up to a confirm my bank transactions had been made. I won’t be repeating that mistake! I still use TurboTax but I verify my bank transactions.
Hope you enjoy the Avenge X. Shoot it enough as is to get a reliable base starting point.
Deck
Deck,
I probably have well over 30 air rifles that are waiting for a reliable base starting point. I tried looking for a shortcut recently but there really isn’t one, and not really being into target shooting there is no urgency.
I have relied on my FX rifle for accurate shooting when needed.
I claim to be a “Collector” because it best fits my behavior, and it goes beyond airguns. It can be of junk or valuables like Morgan Silver Dollars.
I may be considered a hoarder because I can see value in almost everything and have the ability to fix it if necessary, and I can be a collector of valuable items at the same time.
I have been fortunate in life and have just about everything I ever wanted in retirement only now it all owns me. My life is a ‘Conundrum’ now and not what I really expected in retirement.
Caring for two disabled people and acres of yard work takes it toll in old age. Forgot to account for that.
For example, try to figure out how long it takes to load up a portable generator and air compressor on a cart and service up 100 vehicle tires, in 4ft high grass, knowing there is at least one rattle snake out there. then change a clutch, radiator and engine. cut up a downed tree and fix the roof and perimeter fencing on over 3 acres. I did not think about being old and tired and easily hurt. Lots to do now to change things.
Did a little prototyping on the Avenger X to turn it into an ‘Avenger Xtreme Tactical’. What can I say, I like black tactical guns and all the rest as well.
Bob M
I used to hunt quail in northeastern Mexico. Snake leggings were mandatory and we didn’t hunt with dogs. Eastern Diamond Backs there can grow fatter than any I’ve seen in a zoo. But I’m thinking you enjoy the outdoors and likely need it to get away from care giving to help keep some balance in your life.
Deck
Deck,
After a while you get to know snakes, their behavior and places they like. You learn to live with them, but I have no kids or dogs.
Haven’t had much of a field mouse problem lately. Just really need to be mindful of where you are walking, Same with scorpions and I hear tarantulas can screw up your eyes bad if they flick hairs in them. Mostly they just wander around walking between your legs and such when you are sitting.
It’s upsetting a beehive with no place to run that worries me. Especially with those killer bees. You know, the ones with little machine guns. They hangout around water sources in the desert.
There was a time when I scared a sidewinder in the Anzo Borrego Desert, and he moved fast and stood his ground. Then I moved really fast, away from him. He used every trick he had to threaten me, and it worked.
If I dumped my disabled ex-wife on my kids, I’d be punishing them. She can’t afford a care home.
The Avenger Xtreme Tactical
No doubt about it. A white background allows a larger picture to be posted.

Bob M,
Kool! You need a light and a remote switch near the trigger. Or maybe a night vision optic.
As far as your brush and grass problem: https://www.elmgoats.com
They service your part of the country but are not the only providers of land clearing goat herds.
shootski
Shootski,
Believe me, I have it all, including a night vision scope. I returned it back to stock to fit it in its box. Just seeing what is possible. I could fill all those rails. A light switch for a rifle is usually on a forward rail with the light.
Sad to say I don’t have a toilet paper dispenser or cup holder option, yet.
About those goat mowers. I have a lot of yard and double fencing, T post, wire and barbed wire. that was ripped up by the fire department when they used the biggest bulldozer I have ever seen to create a fire break across my property during the wildfire that burned half of it. Still needs repair and the coyotes love them as well. My front yard …
Bob M,
You need to find an Eagle Scout and a troop of Boy Scouts interested in some mentoring from a guy that knows his stuff!
You have stuff that could make outstanding bait too!
shootski
PS: that bulldozer cut looks like the perfect start to a really long Range. You need them to come back and make some berms at one end…box or two of donuts and some shooting should cover that!
Bob M,
Do not let any of those Boy Scouts brush up against those trees! If one does you will have another forest fire!
Of course, that may not be a bad thing. At least then the forest fire fighters will likely bring their bulldozer back out there and maybe you can talk them into straightening up the mess they made previously.
Bob M
Cool rig!
Deck
That barrel shroud / heat shield quad rail assembly on my Avenger X was made up from M249 parts. Can’t remember if it was paintball or airsoft but I don’t think they are available any longer. Adaptable to PCP’s with a little custom fitting work. It’s actually upside down.
Used the same thing on my RAI Chassis Heavy Metal Marauder Tactical conversion.
I do not understand why any American should be upset with the Paris Opening Ceramony Fiasco with The Sodomite version of the Last Supper. We have had a Presidential Administration for sometime now that is slap full of Sodomites. Sodomites and Illegal Aliens are the “in thing” in the USA right now. Just ask the DNC.
RR,
The fire fighters here really break their backs for us. Containment means clearing about a two-foot space in front of the entire perimeter by hand when a fire break can’t be made with the bulldozer, after the fire is already out.
They just put out a 90-acre brush fire on the west side of Tecate Mountain yesterday. It was heading my way. Border Fire Number 65. They stopped naming them, too many.
You drop everything and just monitor the wind direction and fire spread till it’s out.
Kind of like an earthquake. Do I pack up and run or stay in place? Then think, did I forget to do anything to avoid it entering my property? Gut wrenching experience, almost every month.
You basically need to clear all growth down to dirt and trim all trees up to six feet from the ground to be, somewhat safe. In high wind with sideways blowing embers, forget it and vacate the area.
And all this time I have been blaming illegal aliens for starting the fires in the middle of nowhere. (65 so far) Never considered the Boy Scouts. Always rubbing two sticks together.
