I am on the precision rifle team at my high school. and i shoot this exact same rifle. i won 1st place state and 3rd place national. this i the gun to have if you are. into serious 3 position target shooting. The grip goes past the palm of your hand so you get more control and the barrel is a bull barrel. i have shot Hammerli Ar-50's which have a smaller barrel and heaver front weight and that is not as balanced as a thicker barrel. the sights are great. and you can get replacement front aperture that are smaller than the regular. i shoot with a 4.2 in mine and it does wonders. this is the rifle to get if youwant to get into target shooting.

What others should know:Make sure you have canvas to go along with this rifle because this is nothing like sporter rifles. you need canvas to be more stable on the line
