  • Ashley from USA asked:

How may fills can I get on my hatsan flashpup .25 cal with this tank?

    • Mark from USA:

      10-12 fills

  • Joe from USA asked:

Can this tank be used for Air Force Condor SS .22 Cal What hook up will I need to purchase.

  • blaine from USA asked:

How many times will this tank fill a Marauder from 2000 to 3000 psi?

    • Mark from USA:

      12-16 times

  • Robert from USA asked:

Can this tank or others also be refilled by me with my Air Venturi Nomad ?

  • James from USA asked:

I pre-ordered a Benjamin Fortitude. what would I need to connect this to it.

    • Val from USA:

Click on the PCP Hookup tab on the Benjamin Fortitude page to see options to connect.

  • Matt from USA asked:

What is the dry weight/empty before fill?

    • Mark from USA asked:

How many fills can i get out of a scuba tank 3000psi with my maurader and or discovery rifles.

      • Tyler from USA:

On the marauder if you filled the gun back up to 2900 psi, you'd get about 6 refills to that pressure. On a discovery, refilling to 2k, you'd get about 80 fills.

    • Teresa from USA asked:

How many fills will I get with a gamo coyote whisper

      • Tyler from USA:

If you fill the gun to about 2800 psi, you'd get roughly 15 fills off of this tank. Since the tank only fills to 3000 psi, you're not going to get as many fills as you would with a 4500 psi carbon fiber tank.

    • Blair from USA asked:

What do you need with this tank to fill Marauder gun?

    • Garrett from USA asked:

How many fills can i get out of this tank with a benjamin maximus .22

      • Tyler from USA:

Approximately 80 fills to 2000 psi on the maximus if you refill at 1000 psi and have the tank full with 3000 psi in it.

    • Cliff from USA asked:

How may fills can I get from a Benjamin bulldogbefote I empty the tank?

      • Tyler from USA:

If you fill to the max fill pressure of the gun (3000 psi) you will only get about 3 full fills of the gun

    • bud from USA asked:

I plan on buying an umarex Gauntlet from pyramid Air . Will the air venture scuba tank work on this rifle? Approx. how many refills will I get assuming I fill it up every 60 shots, and what all will I need for this tank to work?

      • Tyler from USA:

If you fill to 2900 psi, with this tank having 3000 psi and shoot down to 1100 psi (reg pressure on the gauntlet) you will get 3 full fills of the gun before needing the tank topped up. Now you can get far more fills of the gun if you only fill it to 2600-2700 psi (over 20 fills). You'd need this adapter to work with the gauntlet: Air Venturi Scuba Tank Yoke...

    • Eaton from USA asked:

Does it come with a hydro?

      • Tyler from USA:

Yes, it's a brand new tank, since the date of manufacture is clearly printed on the tank you'd be fine to get this filled anywhere.

    • Steven from USA asked:

Can the tank be filled with a hand pump?

      • Tyler from USA:

        I wouldn't recommend it

    • Claudio from USA asked:

Hi. I wish to know what kind of o ring does the k valve use, mine is a little cracked because of some hot storage conditions and it leaks over 160 bar.

      • John from USA asked:

How many times would this fill my Benjamin Bulldog .357? And how tall and how wide is it?

        • Tyler from USA:

Only going to get 3-4 full fills of the Bulldog with this tank filled to 3000 psi

      • Eric from USA asked:

the Hydro test is pertaining to the valve, correct ? ....i would like to dig a hole in the ground, with a post hole digger, and cast the tank into concrete, ( cooler, and more capacity ) but i don't know what the pressure rating is on the valve either, higher than 3Kpsi ? or not ?

        • Michael from USA:

Yep, your seriously going to get yourself seriously injured or killed. Or worse yet some poor unsuspecting person. 3k of compressed gas is not something to randomly play with. I have witnesses cylinders fail first hand they have more than enough energy to go through a brick wall if the valve gets sheared off. Form the tone of your questions you have zero experience with high pressure gasses and plan to try to defeat all the built in safety features that the industry has adopted to keep everyone safe.

        • Michael from USA:

Hydro tests have nothing to do with the valve, other than the safety burst disk. The way a cylinder is tested is it gets placed in a tank of water that holds a known volume of water. A specialized fitting is screwed into the cylinder where the valve was and also filled with water. Since liquid is non compressible the aluminum cylinder starts to expand displacing the water in the test tank. As the water pressure in the cylinder reaches the industry standard for a 3al cylinder the displaced water from the tank is measured. If the displaced water volume exceeds the industry standard the cylinder fails hydro and gets condemned. Usually by drilling a big hole in it. So to answer your question logically if you put the cylinder in a hole then fill the hole with concrete the cylinder cannot expand and will not hold its rated capacity. Also any modification of the cylinder coating even just painting the cylinder will condemn it and most shops wont touch filling it. The risks to the people filling a cylinder that has been messed with at all are to high to risk. To answer all the other questions you have about temperature pressure relationships simple google search boyle's law. As it is far to much to post here. Suffice to say the burst disk will rupture to vent the cylinder if it gets to hot because the pressure increases with heat.

        • Jeffrey from USA:

Um... how do you plan to fill it?

        • Eric from USA:

i am going to answer my own question with another question, well if the rating is 3Kpsi, and then do you have that black aluminum tank that was previously charged to 3Kpsi sitting in the hot sun for a few hours before you use it ? and then how much pressure do you have there now ? so anyway, i am figuring i can go to 4Kpsi if i have the tank in the ground, cast in concrete, and have a steel access plate over the valve....any objections ?

      • John from USA asked:

I have an AirForce Escape 210cc bottle I think... How many refills can I get if filled to 3000 PSI as recommended. Should I go Carbon Fiber?

        • Tyler from USA:

Go carbon fiber, you'd only get 5-6 full fills out of this tank

      • lembadion from USA asked:

Staring with a full filed scuba tank like this, how many times can I refill a marauder .22 ?

        • Tyler from USA:

About 6 full fills if the tank has 3000 psi in it and you're refilling the gun at 2000 psi. IF you only fill the gun to 2700 psi, you can get almost 23 full fills.

      • Robert from USA asked:

Is it possible to run any pcp rifles directly off a scuba (or paintball) tank instead of using it to fill a smaller cylinder (like the bulk air adapters for co2 guns)? It seems silly to have to keep filling small cylinders when you are carrying a larger one already.... Air ordnance has the right idea in their design. Filling tiny cylinders from larger ones is a horrible idea.

        • Val from USA:

some people do, do that. Especially with the mini-bottles that can be carried in the backpack.

      • Robert from USA asked:

Does this tank require an additional $130 scuba tank adapter to use it to fill pcp guns?

        • christopher from USA:

do not order this if you shoot PCP that uses a DIN adapter. You will need to buy a new valve. or get a tank from a local scuba shop

        • Val from USA:

Yes, you will need an adapter/hose to connect it to your airgun. Here is one for $80. Air Venturi Scuba Tank Yoke.... Best way to figure out what you need is to click on the PCP Hookup tab on the gun page and then choose the source of air.

      • Robert from USA asked:

Can anyone tell me how to calculate how many fills I'd get with a specific pcp gun? E.g. If I wanted to fill a 180cc cylinder to 2700 psi, how many times could I do this with this 80 cu ft 3000 psi tank? Is there a formula?

        • Robert from USA asked:

What is the output psi on this tank or is it used without a regulator?

          • Val from USA:

3,000 PSI but it's not regulated

        • Arthur Yeo from USA asked:

Where else can I go to besides Scuba shops to get these tanks refilled?

          • Val from USA:

            paintball shops, fire departments

        • Big Daddy from USA asked:

ok heavy duty plinkers, who sprung for a gas or electric compressor what brand and cost? elaborate on your set-up a bit can tell im a virgin plinker(my first pcp jus showed today...crosman challenger) Thx in advance guys, never thought I would get so hooked on air!

        • Bradley from USA asked:

How many fills can I get on a Benjamin Discovery with this tank?

          • Big Daddy from USA:

            67 or 6-7?

          • Dan the Man from USA:

            Around 67 times.

        • Bailey from USA asked:

How many times can i fill my hatsan bt65 elite .25 255cc 200 BAR

          • Tyler from USA:

You will only get one or two full fills if the tank is filled to 3000 psi. Some dive shops can fill them to 3300 psi which will give you a few more. Without filling to 200 BAR though, you can get 5-8 good fills out of it.

          • Greg (PA SALES) from USA:

About 10-12 times also look at the mini carbon tank it will give you the same amount of fills Air Venturi Carbon Fiber Air...

        • Herbert from USA asked:

Will the tank have inspection sticker for refill.

          • Greg (PA SALES) from USA:

yes the tank is hydro tested for 5 years

        • anthony from USA asked:

how many fills can I get on a .50 cal dragon claw with a 500cc reservor?

          • Erika from U.S. Virgin Islands:

            Total about 5-7

        • Phillip from USA asked:

What all is needed for this to be plug and play ready to fill my guns (hose ending in female quick disconnect)

          • Val from USA:

There is a PCP Hookup tab for each PCP gun. If you click on it and then choose the scuba tank picture it will show you which adapters if any you will need.

        • PETER from USA asked:

          • Val from USA:

really depends on how you will fill (up 2600 psi or 3000 psi every time) your Marauder and which Marauder you have (newer or older one) but could be up to 300 shots.

        • Jim from USA asked:

How much does it cost to fill one of these scuba tanks, and what do they fill them with?

          • Tyler from USA:

Generally these tanks are filled at local scuba shops with breathing air (not oxygen). I have seen fees of $5-10 as standard.

        • Robert from USA asked:

How much does this tank weigh?

          • Val from USA:

            A little over 30 lbs

        • Brent from USA asked:

How many rounds can you get from a filled tank like this if you have Marauder in .22 cal?

          • victor from USA:

You have answer what I was going to ask? Thank-you!

          • Tyler from USA:

Well if you get 25 shots (average) per fill, you will get a few full fills to 3000 psi on the gun and then more fills below that 3000 psi mark that are usable (say to 2600 psi). That would give you well over 300 shots before you would get you tank refilled. If you leave the rifle pressure at 2500 psi like it is set from the factory, you could get far more shots from a tank.
