Does it fit to a Benjamin Fortitude?
Will this shot tray fit a Benjamin Fortitude Gen.2 .22cal?
Is this compatible with the BENJAMIN ARMADA .22?
Yes. The Marauder and the Armada share the same receiver.
Will this work for Benjamin Discovery .22?
Will this fit the Fortitude. My magazine index's very poorly and I just got the Gen II version from Pyramid air.
How can this device possibly increase accuracy over the rotary magazine? The bolt pushes the pellet into the chamber and chamber remains closed for the shot in the same fashion with both the magazine and single shot tray, correct? Is there something I'm not getting?
Reason is the mag can damage the pellet, and what's worse is you may not know it so fliers make you wonder. The super popular JSB 18.1gr has a very delicate skirt so all the more prone to damage. Problem is this tray is not ideal either, but at least when you load one via the tray you (should) know if it went in nicely and undamaged or not. So it's nice for troubleshooting accuracy probs to eliminate the mag, and some want to use longer pellets the mag won't accept. Another useful reason is loading mags is a pain, so if target shooting etc you might prefer single shot over fighting with the mag. All depends on the shooter. I'd prefer, and am faster, using single shot at a bench. Hunting etc is where the mag shines and is super sweet to have. It is spendy for what you get, and not perfect, but I think it's a great accessory.
It does not increase/decrease accuracy, anyone that tells you that a rotary magazine decreases accuracy is full of it, period. The only way a rotary mag will decrease accuracy is the shooter is shooting to fast, loading bent pellets or just can't shoot to start with. The single shot tray is a nice handy little add on for them times when you just dont need a multi-shot mag.
Does this fit the New Armada
Does it fit synrod?
