  • MD82 from USA asked:

I am not near the rifle at this time but out of country. My Silver Streak is from around 1995. May be slightly before. However the post 1995 schematic looks just like mine, with a slide-type safety switch pertruding behind the barrel. Instead of the earlier push type safety switch. Also there is no fairing where the safety switch is. The aft end of the barrel is flat. Does this also make it a post 1995 style setup? Or do I still need to tear it apart?

    • Andre from USA asked:

I have a pre 95 silver streak that was supposed to hold air but does not. It seems to be leaking through the draft hole under the charging cylinder. Do I need the rebuild kit found through this site, or is is the seal on the pumping plunger that is leaking by?

      • Stanley from USA:

Yes anytime that happens it is not holding air like it should . Mine is a Silver Streak (1975 ) model , it would pump and shoot but not hold air. Iam doing a complete rebuild and refinish on the gun stock and forearm. Also cleaning out 40 plus years of old oil and grime, and new seal kit, it should be like new when I'm done.

    • San from USA asked:

i have model 397PA 4.5MM sn O95704024. can you tell me if this is the correct repair kit. Thanks

      • Stanley from USA:

Read some of the reviews all of them are saying yes.

    • Bob from USA asked:

Where is the serial # on a C Series Sheridan?

      • Stanley from USA:

It is on the left side as your holding it.

    • Bob from USA asked:

Will this product work with a C Series Sheridan?

      • Stanley from USA:

Yes although it doesn't seem to include everything it is a good price i have seen the tool itself sell for 50.00 in some places. If you go on Ebay they have a more comprehensive kit that includes everything you need to rebuild these classic guns. Mine is a Silver Streak (1975 ) model with the soldered valve , the newer ones use a cartridge valve set-up,so do some research before you order. There are great videos on You-Tube on how to install these kits. If you look up the serial number on the guns left side it can give you an idea of age.

    • damon from USA asked:

i have no idea what the retention cap or reciever is. i have a old sheridan c-series i got from a family friend; however, it will no longer hold any pressure. i think it ius beccuse the valve has warped because he left it sitting for almost 15 years. can someone please let me know thier opinion and what the retention cap looks like. thank you

      • Stanley from USA:

Ya the retention cap is located just behind the bolt . Some have tiny screws located on the sides. Anytime your not shooting the gun at least 2 pumps should be stored in the rifle. If you look on YOU-TUBE they have some real good instructional how to videos on there, thats what i did.

    • Ben from USA asked:

Will this kit work on a CAL BB model 3100?

      • Stanley from USA:

Your gun is not listed in the description ? It says what it fits.

    • Ricky from USA asked:

Pulled 317, 342 & 347 out of closet to try and repair. Tried to repair the 347 with this kit with some of the modifications from this blog. Cleaned out entire gun with bore cleaner then applied a thin coat of air rifle oil prior to reassembling. Still not hold air?? It's probably something simple I'm missing! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Going crazy in LA.

      • Tyler from USA:

Give Stacey a call at ext 244. She should be able to give you some trouble shooting tips.

        See above

    • Kirk from USA asked:

Will this kit work for a 1964 Blue Streak?

      • Tyler from USA:

Yes it should, although some variations may be present that could require an extra part or two.

    • Robert from USA asked:

Where is this Soldered Valve. Trying to determine which kit to buy and need to know where to look for it have gun torn down to the point of needing the tool and haven't seen anything soldered.

      • Stacey from USA:

The front of the compression chamber that includes the intake valve is all soldered into the tube, All of the parts from the check valve to the exhaust valve are held in by the inside-out nut that holds in the exhaust valve guide. This is the square hole with rounded corners that is described above that you need the provided tool to remove.

    • David from USA asked:

Anyone rebuild a Benjamin 317 with this kit?

      • Stacey from USA:

Yes, 317 has a soldered valve body. Some real old ones have a piston head that is crimped on and you would have to source a new metal end for the pump shaft (those guns were deemed unsafe by the National Product safety commission because the way the safety is attached and Crosman had a program to turn it in for credit toward a new gun)

    • Isaac from USA asked:

Would this fit a crosman 766?

      • Cory from USA:

        No, it would not.

    • Benny from USA asked:

Is this the repair kit that is needed for a Benjamin model 312

      • Tyler from USA:

Yes, but the National Product Safety Commission has deemed them unsafe because of the way the safety is attached.

    • archie from USA asked:

can I buy just the hardware and not the kit....I just purchased the kit for another and only need the seals

      • Stanley from USA:

If you go on ebay sometimes they have just seals instead of the whole kit i have seen them there.

    • archie from USA asked:

I already have the tool just need the seals.....any advice?

      • Tyler from USA:

Give Stacey a call at extension 244, she should be able to assist you.
