Why aren't these detailed in brass with the stampings and intricacies of the shells that come with the guns? How do I get more of the nice quality detailed ones? I have no desire for these.
Does anyone know if these Colt cartridges are interchangeable with Dan Wesson 715 pellet cartridges?
They are not
I would like extra shells for a Legens Ace in the Hole
Will these shells fit the Crossman 357 snr or the Dan Wesson 715 6" revolver the pellet version I see there is a recess in the front
can these be used in other bb revolvers, like the SW TRR8. or dan wessons, in order to improve performance due to projectile at rear of cyl instead of front?
Is the pellet version significantly more accurate than the BB version?
Yes because of the rifling .
What is the difference between the "pellet" Cartridge version and the "BB" Cartridge version? They look identical - Are they interchangeable?
The pellet shell has a different size seat in the back of the shell. You can use the BB shells but you will have to seat them inside about 1/8" using a pen or some other tool. If you don't they won't fire or will fire with no power.
I tried the pellet shells in my BB Peacemaker and they fit, but seem to be very slightly looser - smaller in diameter. The pellet shells are silver colored instead of brass like the BB shells. Using the pellet shells in my BB Peacemaker I was able to fire them and saw no difference in accuracy from the BBs.
CAN PELLETS BE FIRED FROM THE BB VERSION OF THE COLT SAA, IF THE PELLET CARTRIDGES ARE USED?
Yes. The pellet cartridges fit into the BB version chamber and fire as well as BBs.
I have used a verity of pellets in my BB Peacemaker. They work fine in the BB gun as long as you seat them flush with or deeper than the back of the cartridge. However, I don't know how well the BB cartridges themselves will work in the Pellet version of the gun.
