how to install a barrel band on Diana Stormrider gen2? How do I remove the front sight and baffles to install barrel band?
Can it be installed by Pyramydair if bought with the rifle?
I bought the barrel band to provide more support to the front of the barrel, however the band did not come with grub screws. Instead, it came with fill length screws as if I were going to install it as a replacement of the factory band. The screws are too long to install it on the front. What do you recommend?
Will this band fit the Diana Bandit pistol?
Yes it does, or at least it fit mine.
will this fit a Diana chaser (in 0.177 and 0.22 both with the pistol barrel installed)
What is the outer diameter of the Diana Stormrider?
Pretty sure he means the barrel OD - since he's asking about the barrel band. It's a question I had as well - I'm trying to figure out how to get a taller front sight on the Chaser rifle barrel without using this barrel band here, as there isn't a CO2 cylinder tube that far out.
Outer diameter of what part of the stormrider?
How do you get the extra barrel band on the front sight is not on the suppresor
You need to remove the barrel from the rifle and then place the barrel band on the air cylinder. Then replace the barrel making sure you install it through the barrel hole on the barrel band.
Will the band fit dragonfly ?....
Will this barrel band fit the Diana Bandit Pistol?
Any chance of getting the "Chaser" version stocked as it has the picatinny attachement rail rather than the lug?
I just purchased the Diana Stormrider in 22.cal and the suppressor on the barrel of the rifle I have does not have a set screw on it and the front site is not on the front of the suppressor either it's behind it on the barrel. What's the best way too get the both off to install this Band? After thinking about it overnight, it's probably safer to just remove the Barrel from the Rifle. Thanks, Art
Best way is to remove the barrel and install it that way
I own a Storm Rider and am interested in adding a scope. I know it needs a compact scope, so I bought a 3x9-32 Bug Buster for it . Is there a way to remove the rear sight from the installed barrel band, or do you have to buy the one above w/o the sight and install it? Thanks, Wild Bill, Pa.
Sure, rear sight is easy to remove. First remove the screw in the top of the rear sight. Then take a mallet and tap the sight either from the front or the back and it will slide off the rail.
