Is this a SF or FFP scope
This is a SFP scope.
Will this scope be suitable with a Benjamin foritude airgun? What hight rings do i need for this?
Will this work on a HW 97 Springer air rifle?
If it is stock, Hawke does not recommend it. This scope is not recommended for rifles producing more than 12 FPE. If you tune the gun to 12 FPE or less, it should be okay
Will this work on the Umarex Gauntlet? Or is it to long?
i use the 6-24x44sf on my .25 gauntlet , wonderful combo for my eyes and purposes . i had to use high rings for the objective bell to clear the barrel band du to the length of the 6-24 .
It would be fine with the proper rings. I would recommend these: Leapers Accushot 1" Rings, High,...
Does this have a thin reticle suitable for target shooting shooting or is it a thicker one for hunting?
If you click on the image it shows the reticle ?
Where can I get a sun shade that fits this scope
Try there website at hawkoptics.com .
Is there a side wheel available for this scope?
the crosman/centerpoint CPSWC 80mm side wheel works perfectly on mt vantage 6-24x44SF . the range numbers on the wheel are backwards with how the vantage works so they are useless . but the wheel works perfect for turning the sf turret . the rubber gasket on the wheel needs to be removed for a nice snug fit , then gently snug up the grub screws .
I want to use the RWS droop mount 30mm and use 30mm inserts for 1 inch hawke scope 14162. Will this scope handle a LGU MASTER , its a springer?
It is not recommended for springers over 12 FPE
Did I read the bold comment right warning not to use these on springers ?
Hawke doesn't recommend 1 inch scopes for springers use 30mm instead.
may i know which country manufacture this scope? is there the illuminated reticle? and is it possible to use the lens cover + sunhide and side wheel?
China. And no, there is no IR
Is it new model? It's old picture and old description. Is the reticle etched on new model?
This scope does not have an etched glass reticle
Is the reticle etched or wire?
i believe it is teched...the tell-tale sign is when you turn the illumination on you see only the inner mil dot portion lit up.. the outer thicker lines of the reticle stay black...only an etched glass reticle can do that
Doesn't mention either way? Im sure it would say in the description if it was?
Does it work on gas piston air rifles?
Does it come with the sunshade?
It does not come with a sunshade
