  • John from USA asked:

Hello, I have an old Crosman Magnum 2200. There are two what look like ridges that could be used for mounting this scope. Anyone have any information if this scope will mount? Thanks so much. VietNam, 2nd/47th Infantry, 9thInf 1968

  • Greg from USA asked:

Does this scope have finger adjustable turrets beneath the caps,,,or do you need a tool to turn them ?

    • Stephen from USA asked:

Is this scope not compatible with spring powered air guns? I have a RWS 460 magnum, will it work? Thanks

      • RALPH from USA:

Hawke says this is NOT suitable for springers over 12 ft lbs. They recommend the AIRMAX line of scopes for magnums 4x12x50 is what I got for my 460 Magnum and have had no trouble with it.

      • Matthew from USA:

It's definitely compatible. I have mine stuck on one of Hatsan's 'ultra magnum' Vortex .22 springers, and it's still just as accurate as the day I bought it. That was about 5,000 pellets ago. Hatsan's 100x series has to be one of the most brutally powerful air rifle lines out there, so if it can survive that, it can survive anything really.

    • Preston from USA asked:

      does this come with rings?

      • Val from USA:

        No rings...

    • Robert from USA asked:

Are the optics of this scope as clear as the Air Max?

      • Patrick from USA:

I don't own this one but I have the air max 3-9x40. I needed something with ir and more zoom so I got the vantage 3-12x50. Which also has 11 layer coated lense as apposed to the 16 layered airmax. Definitely not as clear. I am now saving for a larger air max. I was amazed at how crisp the air max is. Everything I own has a hawke on it. Superior!!! Would love to get my hands on a sidewinder!!!

        I think so
