  • Gregg from USA asked:

I have a Remington NPSS and am looking at this scope and also a UTG 4-16x40 AO rifle scope. Any thoughts on which would be the better one for fit, looks, and function?

    • Tyler from USA:

I prefer side parallax adjustment, it's a lot more convenient and easier to use.

  • Fred from USA asked:

Is this a good scope to use in Field Target competition? I would like to put it on my TX200. Is it good for range-finding targets out to 55 yards? Thanks!

    • Tyler from USA:

It can certainly be used. Range finding is going to be totally subjective to the individual and the scope received. One guy might love it and find it to be excellent for him, another may hate it. Some of that has to do with scope to scope variance, but a lot of that has to do with shooter to shooter and eye to eye variance. Leapers is a good value for the money, but this particular scope wouldn't be my first choice. Check out the Bubble Leveler model. Bigger objective lens, brighter image and the small level in the view is a nice feature. UTG 4-16x56 Bubble Leveler AO...

  • bob from USA asked:

At what magnification are the milldots accurate on? 10x? 8x? 16x? Thanks

    • Tyler from USA:

Typically, Leapers mil dot scopes are true at 10x

  • daniel from USA asked:

will this scope fit and handle a rws48?

  • pedro from USA asked:

Will this scope hold for the Beeman RX2? Anyone using this scope for tat gun? I just went through two scopes, last one was double the price of this scope. How can they make a gun that eats scopes for breakfast?

    • Tyler from USA:

Yes it should and if for some reason it were to fail, it is covered by a lifetime warranty.

  • landmass from USA asked:

Will the front bell of this scope clear an HW-77 using a medium height mount? Or do I need a tall mount? I'd like to keep the scope bell as close to the rifle barrel as possible and still be able to use the flip up lens covers...

    • Tyler from USA:

      Go with high mounts.

  • Roei from Israel asked:

How will it fit a Benjamin marauder pistol? Is it a good scope for that pistol?

    • Stanley from USA:

This would be a solid choice for that pistol . The m-rod pistol has a 11mm dovetail so you would need to change the rings ( 30 mm and dovetail ) to work. You could also purchase a UTG 11mm to Weaver Adaptor , then these rings will work.

  • Joseph from USA asked:

    is reticle fine or thick?

    • Horace from USA:

I would classify the reticle as "fine". Not ultra-thin, but not thick or, in my opinion, even "medium". Barring long distance bench rest shooting, this reticle should work nicely for just about all usual applications/targets.

  • William from USA asked:

I bought this scope for my discovery any but the rings don't fit its railsand my local store doesn't have the mounts to fix it is there a way to fix it?

    • Horace from USA:

There are basically two types of scope mounts. "Picatinny/Weaver" which have numerous horizontal slots across the length of the mount. The other mount is a "Dovetail" mount, which is simply two long parallel grooves milled into the gun, or the gun's built-in scope mount, that the Dovetail scope mount grips straddle and clamp into the two grooves. This specific scope comes with Picatinny mounts and you probably have the Dovetail mounts milled into the top of your rifle. What you need is a set of 30mm Dovetail scope mounts. This will fit the larger diameter of this scope, and attach it to your rifle firmly. Further, there are two standard scope tube diameters. Most U.S. scopes use a 1" diameter, most European scopes use 30mm which is a larger diameter than the 1" model. Therefore, to know what mounts to obtain, first determine the "Diameter" of the scope (1" vs. 30mm), then check your rifle, as above, to determine whether it has the horizontal slotted Picatinny mount, or the simplier two parallel groove Dovetail mount.

    • Stanley from USA:

I would call pyramyd air and speak to an airgun rep. Im sure they could steer you in the right direction. Or try the the need a mount tab as below.

  • Jeremy from USA asked:

Will the leapers accu shot high 30mm one piece base fit on the shorter tube of this scope? For a rws 34p pro compact?

    • Stanley from USA:

Yes click on the NEED A MOUNT TAB and it tells you what fits?

  • Glenn from USA asked:

Does this have a wire or etched reticle?

  • Carlos from USA asked:

Hey Guys is this a good scope for the benjamin marauder Gen 25cal ?

    • Robert from USA:

I put this scope on my Marauder .25 and couldn't be happier with it. I was pleasantly surprised at the clarity of the optics even at max magnification. I really wasn't expecting this much out of a 150.00 scope. Go ahead and buy the wheel for easier objective adjustments. The AO knob on the scope is very stiff and the wheel makes fine adjustments easier.
