Are they two pieces? for two rings or a single piece with 2 parts?
Two pieces. Could be made to work with two piece rings or a one piece picatinny mount though.
I see a set screw on top. What is that for? Is it the tightening of the scope rings that tightens this adapter on the rail?
I don't have these, no need, but I'd say from looking at the screw is to help keep them from sliding on the rail. I assume it's there because most Picatinny mounts aren't really made to grip well since the crossbar does all the work, so that screw would help somewhat. The poor reviews state what I suspected about their strength. I also suspect many of those were because the adaptor didn't have the adjustment to go far enough for those guns, if so then that little screw would be the only thing keeping the scope from sliding. Not sure why people didn't buy dovetail mounts, unless maybe they have a sight with an integrated mount like some red dots do. They do look cool and I'm sure there are people who are happy they exist, but be sure it'll work for you before you buy. For example I wouldn't put it on a springer unless I modified both of them and the springer. Or if your dove is rounded on top I can't see how they'd fit unless you milled flat spots for them.
do these work well? also would they work on the Kral Arms Puncher Pro PCP Air Rifle?
They do what they were designed for ? They make a 11mm into weaver / picatinny.
To Jerry from USA, Why not? (the steel breech dovetail upgrade 1377 Crosman)
They work. The crosman steel breech Ive seen all have a flat section on top, that these adapters sit flat on. With a mini weaver reddot it hasn't moved at all.
Sorry, not an answer, but I second the question. The steel breech kit should provide dovetail mounts, and all the UTG scopes say to get the weaver to to 11mm adapter. :( Perhaps it's because the dovetail is rounded, and these are too low profile?
Will this fit the Crosman steel breech for the 1377 and c77 pistols?
They worked fine on my crosman 1377 steel breech.
No, they would not fit the steel breech kit
I have a beeman 1783 silver bear and the scope broke. went out and bought a center point red/green dot sight for it but my railing were the other scope was is to small to mount my new center point sight. How can i get this sight on my gun?
Centerpoint's usually come with weaver rings. You wouldn't want to this adapter with your rifle. You would want to use BKL 3/8" or 11mm Dovetail....
