What is the twist rate on the carbine. Heard they were different from the standard Texan?
Hi, Is it possible to purchase the 45 cal carbine barrel only? Thanks John
Yes, it should be available from Airforce directly.
How many shots per fill
Depends on caliber, but those figures are almost identical to the standard Texan, and will change depending on what slug you use.
I am seeing the 357 has significantly more fpe than the 457. Is that correct? Or is that some type of error?
.457 will put out around 400 FPE, .357 will put out around 350 FPE.
I see that the loudness is the same (4) for the TexanSS as well as this carbine. Is there any real difference in loudness between the two?
Yes, it's a considerable difference. The Texan Carbine should be a 5, not a 4.
Is the tank on this air rifle carbon fiber, don't see anyway just says 490cc
Will the airbolt seat properly in this shorter barrel since the standard texan barrel is too long for bolts.
Yes, it will work. How fast it will shoot though, I cannot say for sure. It will not shoot as strongly as the 24" barrel, but how much the 3/4" increase will rob off of the velocity is unknown.
Is it silenced like the ss
Are they illegal for a felon?
good morning, i you need special documentation to receive it in Italy?
How many shots per fill can be expected in each caliber?
That depends on the ammo weight used. I would expect around 4-5 good shots with heavier ammo in either caliber.
You list the speed but not the bullet weight needed to get that speed,,
This rifle should shoot the 190 grain ammo at around 750 fps, the lighter roundballs will be closer to 1000 fps
