  • James from USA asked:

Do the Pyramyd Air testers measure the cyclic rate of fire these BB SMG's deliver?

    • Tyler from USA:

      Not typically

  • Jeff from USA asked:

Anyone had problems with the right safety breaking off? This is the second one I've owned. The slide will catch and the right side safety switch breaks off, making the gun unsafe. I visibly saw the piece break off on the second gun. It flew across the room.

    • NutNBuTrouble from USA:

Yes, I too had a problem with the right safety coming off. I bought mine from my dad because I love the weight (its actually an once heavier than the real thing), the feel, and the blow-back action, it responds like a real weapon as I have shoot my share. A fair to midland solution is to find the right allen/hex wrench (its minutely small) and keep a close eye on the two blots that hold the right side safety in place. The kickback of the pistol tends to vibrate them out and you have to re-tighten them every so often. I will use loctite 242 blue (serviceable) should it happen again, and hope that should do the trick. I'm just glad I found the lever as it had fallen in some pretty tall grass. Also I have added a cheap but effective laser that just slides on and holds true. Every 92FS owner should not be without the ASG Universal Laser [ASG Universal Laser, Integral Weaver...]. This little red dot has turned my used 92A1 into my most accurate CO2 pistol. I took some time writing this answer, sure hope it helps. Reply if it did or if you have any other questions.

  • san from India asked:

I read and saw in YouTube 92a1 have issues like accuracy, slide lock. So I in confusion which one shall I buy 92fs or 92a1. Please help me on selecting the model.

    • NutNBuTrouble from USA:

I have the 92A1 and it is great aside from the above note. Plink well and be safe

  • san from India asked:

What is the rail size 11mm or 20mm?

    • Tyler from USA:

Picatinny, so standard 1913 rail (closer to 21mm)

  • Marcus from USA asked:

Does the Beretta 92A1 shoot plastic BBs and metal BBs can you please answer this thank you

    • Tyler from USA:

Only .177 caliber BBs can be shot from this pistol.

  • Yoandrys from USA asked:

Hello... is it full automatic? Thanks..

    • Tyler from USA:

      Yes

  • gabriel from USA asked:

does anyone know where to get the slide lock mechanism? It seems to have worn down and does not allow the slide to stay back after each mag.

    • terrance from Canada asked:

Does this 92a1 umarex co2 bb gun able to house a compensator or mock silencer

      • john from Scotland (United Kingdom) asked:

does anyone know where I can get the full/semi auto selector switch and the small spring and ball bearing that sit under the switch ?

        • FRED from USA:

Check McMaster Carr if you can't get them from the manufacturer. You'll have to get the selector from the mfgr for sure though or they'll tell you where to get parts. Check the manual too for the parts listing

      • Lenny from USA asked:

        Full takedown?

        • Mark88 from Finland:

Just be careful with the springs of a trigger bar and upper safety lever, as those will pop out several feet easily if you are not careful and finding those springs means a lots of time. ;)

        • Jacob from USA:

Yup hand assembled gun so yep

      • Rajender from India asked:

        Need him beretta

        • Jacob from USA:

          What?

      • Jerin from India asked:

Can I buy this from Kerala .Is there any legal issues ?

        • Hasibur rahaman from USA asked:

is beretta 92 a1 a airsoft gun or a bb gun?

          • Jacob from USA:

A bb not that hard to fig out come on -.-

        • Hasibur rahaman from USA asked:

can this gun shoot metal bb?pls tell me.

          • NutNBuTrouble from USA:

I use Daisy zinc coated steel BB's as others tend to jam in full auto spray and pray, at prey

          • Jacob from USA:

            Yes

        • kashif from India asked:

Can we have delivery in India ??

          • Bob1 from Finland asked:

One of the best produced airpistols on the market I believe. The only negative I have encountered on is the aiming. My 92A1 shoots off right and low in comparison to the aiming. So not that accurate on target. Anyone else noticed something like this on their pistol?

            • NutNBuTrouble from USA:

I too found this to be a problem with shots landing down and to the right but have recently added a laser to the rail that has seemingly fixed my attitude toward the 92A1. Look at PA part #PY-A-5251. It has mad the world of difference in accuracy. Before, I thought this weapon to be a novelty but now I'm tearing out the X at 20 feet. Let me know if this helps as I'm just a backyard plinker. Shoot straight, shoot safe, or blame it on the guy next to you.

            • Jacob from USA:

Yup i have noticed that it shoots a little low. I expect every gun to go a little to the right or left but going a little up and down In my opinion is just the queastion of a $hity product.... Because the gun will shoot differently based on how much co2 is left in the mag i learned that if you shoot about half way through the co2 about 2 mags then adjust the hopup based on the accuracy, when you put in a new co2 cartridge the first 2 mags you shoot will be perfectly straight with where you aim give or take shooting a little to the left and a little to the right... Not all guns are perfect especially expescially bb guns. I have fixed this prob my self i hope this helps you

          • Stan from USA asked:

My 92A1 will no longer lock after the last BB. Is the mag the problem or the gun?

            • Jacob from USA:

Would most likely be a slide problem or the lock thingy (forgot what's its called) but the lock thingy's spring might just be worn out based on how much you have used the gun hope this helped

          • Ante from USA asked:

Hi, I am from Eu (southeast) and I am looking forward to ordering that gun and will I have problems with customs and rights...Is it legal to order it to Eu...Nice greeting

            • Michael from USA asked:

When you remove the slide, I notice a thumb screw inside the housing end of the barrel. It has the word "UP" and an arrow beneath it. Not wanting to mess anything up I haven't tried adjusting it, but I can't help wonder what it's for? Anyone have a clue?

              • NutNBuTrouble from USA:

Yes he's correct, built for their airsoft version. I messed with mine for some time and found it had very little effect on steel bb's but it made me feel better when it hit its mark. Recently but on a laser that has adjustments and in semi/single shot its a whole new kinda fun day or night. At 20 feet I can hit bullseye 15 out of 18. ASG-17184 [ASG Universal Laser, Integral Weaver...]. Also bought a belt holster CRSAH02 [Crosman Pistol Holster, Accessory Pocket,...] and with bit of razor and cigarette lighter it accommodates both fine. Cut about 4-5 threads out of the bottom and sear them off with a lighter. The polymer threads melt into place and should be there forever. Good luck and be safe.

              • Jacob from USA:

Called hopup... Save me the typing and look up what it does lol

            • joseph from USA asked:

is there a conversion kit so i can hook up a 20oz co2 tank with remote line instead of using small cartridges ?

              • NutNBuTrouble from USA:

                HAHAHAHA GREAT ANSWER JACOB!!!

              • Jacob from USA:

No unless you feel like creating one but i don't recommend doing so for as the power put towards the blosback and firing the bb will be overpowered where as the slide may or may not slide off and hit you in the face as you fire lol i wouldn't recommend but there's a first for everything right... Hope this helps

            • Nestor from USA asked:

I got this gun about 2 months ago and the Slide Catch Lever does not hold in position when the magazine is empty, can this part can be replaced? Can I use the same part as if was a 9mm gun? or do I have to order this part from Umarex?

              • Jacob from USA:

You most likely have worn out the little indentation on the slide that it catches onto probably from mis use of that part... Not calking anybody out on not knowing how to use a gun but it's only there to let you knkw that your out of bb's/ bullets not to flick it down as it gets caught to shut the slide as over 2 months of doing so will wear and tear the slide to where it will no longer catch i recommend when it catches (once replaced) that you place your opposite hand on the slide push it down then rock back the slide and cock the gun how it should be.... Its double cocking but that doesnt matter given the mag is empty lol. Hope this helps just treat your gun lile your baby because buying a new slide is gonna be expensive $$$ hope this helped

            • Ioannis from Greece asked:

              1. Are there any plans (e.g. in pdf) for complete disassembly available? 2. My copy came without the fire selector lever (semi/full auto) so the gun only fires in semi auto (in my country full auto air pistols are not legally imported). I suspect that the mechanism is there, and only the lever is missing. Could I possibly find spare parts to add the lever myself? 3. This pistol set me back 225 EURO i.e. about 240 USD... Go figure... (Reason enough for immigration, LOL)!

              • wes from USA asked:

Does any one know if there is a carbine conversion kit that will except the 92a1? something along the lines of the CAA RONI (which i already know cant except it because of a width issue) I know I UMAREX makes one, im just finding conflicting info on it.

                • Liviu from Canada asked:

I would say I love this gun however already at the second exchange - first one got blocked while firing in full auto. Got an exchange and on this new one the fire selector does not stay in "semi-auto", as soon as i pull the trigger goes in full auto and that's that. The only way I could make it stay in semi-auto was to hold the firing selector with the finger - not fun. Any ideas?

                  • Liviu from Canada:

Thanks for the answer, I sent the pistol back we'll see what happens. Anyway, I bet this is a good answer for other folks too and will keep it for future reference

                  • Travis from USA:

P.S. Disassemble the slide and remove magazine

                  • Travis from USA:

Liviu, I hope its not too late for me to help you! I just recently had this exact same problem after only two days post purchase. Now if you take off the right side grip( two black screws) with the help of a butter knife it should pop right off, be careful because here is a small black piece that sits around the top screw molding and resta on the trigger lever. Now after you have removed the grip you will see the silver lever that is moved by the selector switch, directly infront of that lever is a small bushing type piece with a small spring wrapped around it, simply remove this piece with the spring because it has sheared off from the inside of the slide(atleast in my case) and simply reassemble without the spring and bushing. Now im no expert and im not going to tell you this is the right way to fix it. But i will tell you that for me it has worked for the next dozen or so mags and seems to be working just fine. Plus it beats waiting weeks for you to warranty your brand new gun. Hope this helps others as well Tc

                • Michael from USA asked:

Will the mag from the Swiss arms "Beretta" fit in this gun?

                  • Jacob from USA:

Nope buy the mag meant to take the co2

                • Joe from USA asked:

How durable is the inner barrel and does the use of full auto hurt the gun in it self

                  • Jacob from USA:

I belive its SS but im not sure for its gold maybe its gold platted something or just copper but it's a solid gun and shouldnt have any probs firing full auto umerax wouldnt have givin it that feature if it couldnt handle so after countless mags being used in full auto... Hope this helped

                • john from Canada asked:

What happens if your hammer snaps like my gsg 92 from too much full-auto? Is it made of harder pot metal?

                  • Det. from USA asked:

WHAT KIND OF HOLSTER WOULD BE A PERFECT FIT?

                    • Jacob from USA:

Paul your answer does not make sense to me given its a replica gun and should be the exact same give or take micro improvments to the shell of the gun that said it should be able to fit any regular beretta 92 full sized holsters. I dont know for a fact given i dont own a holster but i did my research and only found 2 beretta 92a1 holsters compared to the hundreds of identical looking 92 holsters soo idk but in fairly sure it doesn't matter given common since... Its a replica. Hope this helped

                    • Paul from USA:

Tod's answer is not correct unless you want to jam it in there or are okay with using two hands to get the 92A1 out. You need a holster specifically designed for a Beretta 92A1, 96A1, or 90two. 92FS, M9, M9A1 will NOT work!

                    • Tod from USA:

Any holster that would work for a full sized 9mm or specifically a Beretta 92.

                  • rws from USA asked:

                    Does it have adjustable hop-up?

                    • Jacob from USA:

Yes it does just disassemble the slide and the only silver part in there is your hop up, placed at the beginning of the barrel. Hope this helps Ps follow the little arrow that tells you which is up and the oppisite will be down

                    • Ioannis from Greece:

Yes, I think it does. Search Youtube for: «Umarex Beretta M92a1 full auto bb gun hop up system». This video shows where the hop-up is but it doesn't say exactly how to tune it.

                  • Joe from USA asked:

Can this model be dismantled for cleaning

                    • Jacob from USA:

Its a Hand assembled gun. given that every little part can be disassembled and reassembled i recommend recording yourself disassembling it for as a lot of part gets tricky to reassemble ngl. Hope this hels

                    • Tod from USA:

Yes, you can field strip this pistol just like the real firearm.

                    • Loren from USA:

I have been able to remove the slide and the barrel completely.

                  • Joe from USA asked:

Does the fps vary from full auto as opposed to single action.

                    • Tod from USA:

Yes, only because the CO2 gets weaker as it cools for gas release. Still fairly powerful at the end of 18 shots.. Which, by the way, happens in just over a second in full auto!!

                  • Jordan from USA asked:

Hey, can you purchase extra clips/magazines for this gun?

                    • Tod from USA:

Yes, but they are kinda pricey... approximately $45.00

                    • Kade from Canada:

                      Yes

                  • Valentino from Italy asked:

Hi! I wish to know That caliber and that type of munitions shoots and how many are the joule declared? Thanks

                    • Jacob from USA:

Approximately 285 fps - 375 fps. Given i have fired up to 425 in a new co2 cartridge

                    • Tod from USA:

                      .177 Steel BBs ... Approximately 310 fps

                  • Adam from Poland asked:

Can it be delivered to Poland

                    • Jacob from USA:

Why not. If you can choose international shipping shouldnt be a problem unless full auto regs. But i wouldnt know. Hope this helps

                  • Leon from USA asked:

I read in a magazine that this bb gun fires in a burst of 3 instead of full-auto. I look at the picture and the selector switch shows positions marked with 1 dot, which I assume is for semi-auto and 3 dots which might be for burst of 3 bbs or all out full-auto? Does it have a burst of 3? That would be amazing if it did!

                    • Tod from USA:

No, not 3 shot burst.. unless you release trigger to do so. Full auto will dump magazine in just over one second.

                    • Loren from USA:

No, it fires only single shot or full auto. You pull the trigger briefly to get short bursts.

                  • Ahmad from Canada asked:

Can it be delivered to Canada

                    • Kade from Canada:

                      yes

                  • Justin from USA asked:

Can the grips be changed with wooded or aftermarket ect.

                    • Jacob from USA:

Yes sir. Its a replica sooo yeee

                    • Tod from USA:

Not that I am aware of.

                  • Tanstaafl from USA asked:

When in full-auto mode, what's to keep the seals from freezing when you dump all 18 BBs? Also, wouldn't the velocity of each round decrease as the CO2 cartridge cools down? This seems like a neat feature, and it might be fun to shoot, but I wonder how well it works. Does anyone have the technical knowledge and personal experience to answer this question?

                    • Roy from USA:

The magazine is full metal, with draws the cold temp from the CO2 cartridge. Even reloading quickly and dumping another 18 round burst does not effect the gun at all. I have 3 mags and I dump them as fast as I can, reload and go again without any trouble! (CO2 will dump 3 full loads of 18 before running low)

                    • Tod from USA:

The one I own will dump 18 BBs in just over one second on a fresh CO2 powerlet. I have ran approx. 300 rounds through mine and I love it!!

                    • Jag-judge from USA:

You have proposed an interesting Lab experiment in Thermodynamics! I do not have the means to do the required measurements but I would estimate that this gun is auto-firing at about 350 BB's per minute or about 3 seconds per 18 shot burst. That leaves very little time for the CO2 cartridge to change in temperature significantly from first BB to 18th. Perhaps there is someone out there who has the equipment to answer this question with true science rather than just observation or conjecture. BTW, it is really great fun to shoot. Load up on BB's on lots of CO2. It's hard to put it down!

                  • Daniel from USA asked:

How do you switch between semi and full auto?

                    • Markus from USA:

Mine has a small lever on the right rear side near the beavertail that switches the select fire.

                    • Val from USA:

There is a lever on the left hand side under the slide

                  • Nicholas from USA asked:

Can it be decocked like the real beretta 91A1

                    • Tod from USA:

Yes, This pistol is so realistic compared to the Firearm. I drool every time I take it out to use it!

                    • Markus from USA:

Yes, The safety acts as a decocker.

                  • James from USA asked:

Does this gun break down for cleaning? That is does the slide come off the receiver?

                    • Tod from USA:

                      Absolutely! Just like the firearm..

                    • Markus from USA:

Yes, Remove the mag, lock the slide back, push in on the back of the take down pin and rotate, pull trigger and release the slide. Pulls off the front.

                  • Gregory from Canada asked:

In full auto how many rounds per second does it fire?

                    • Jacob from USA:

                      18 bb's 1.235 sec

                    • Tod from USA:

Mine will dump 18 BBs in just over one second on fresh CO2.

                    • Jag-judge from USA:

I have no means to actually measure the automatic fire rate but I have estimated it to be about 350 rounds per minute. The magazine empties it's 18 BB's in about 3 seconds with a fresh CO2 cartridge.

                  • Charles from USA asked:

ON THE FULL AUTOMATIC CAN YOU RELEASE THE TRIGER TO REDUCE THE EMPTING OF THE MAGAZINE?

                    • Angel from USA:

                      Yes

                  • Terry from Canada asked:

I noticed on the right side of the gun that this is made for Umarex. Who actually manufactured this gun? KWC? Thanks Terry

                    • Jacob from USA:

I believe its a colab between KWC and Umarex

                  • Charles M from USA asked:

The pistol description says the magazine capacity is 18 BBs. The accessory magazine description says the magazine capacity is 26 BBs. Which one is correct?

                    • Jag-judge from USA:

The magazine which ships with the gun and the one being offered as an accessory are both of only 18 BBs capacity. At present, there are no extended, 26 BBs capacity magazines being offered for this gun by Umarex or by anyone else I could find.

They both are correct but the 26 round magazine will stick out of the gun.In short its an extended mag

The Beretta 92FS pellet pistol comes with a hard plastic storage case. What packaging is Umarex shipping this 92A1 in? Plastic clam-shell, cardboard box, or hard plastic storage case?

They recently shrunk the packaging down to a smaller cardboard box and no styrofoam. I guess the reason may be to save cost, get more boxes in a shipping carton, reduce shelf space, and some weight.

Cardboard box with the Beretta labeling on it.

They are being shipped in a box which contains a form-fitted styrofoam tray which has pockets to house the gun, a magazine, the allen wrench and possibly a couple of C02 cartridges and a small bag of BBs.
