  • Geordi from USA asked:

Some bbs got jammed in the barrel so I tried to push them out with a rod but part of the barrel is now sticking out into where the magazine loads and I cant push it back in. Can I take the barrel apart to fix this or do I need to go through Crosman to get it fixed at this point?

    • Mark from USA:

Yes. You need the gun serviced thru Crosman.

  • Demetrius from USA asked:

Is there any magazines that hold more that 25 I want one that holds more

    • Mark from USA:

The current magazine is the only one available.

  • Taylan from USA asked:

Can I use 6mm plastic bbs with this gun, or must I use metal or steel? Im looking for a full auto airsoft gun that shoots plastic bbs.

    • Mark from USA:

The DPMS takes .177 cal /bb's

  • Kc from USA asked:

Is there a barrel extension for the mp4?

    • Mark from USA:

      No

  • Brian from USA asked:

This is the second DPMS SBR bolt catch that broke on me and Id rather not order a whole another SBR because of a 30 cent part breaking... I know better not to use full auto mode on the first 25 rounds because the cO2 pressure is way too high and also not to shoot in full auto on the last 25 rounds because the cO2 gets way too low. By shooting on high or low cO2 the Bolt Catch is vulnerable to violent vibrations which beats on the already cheap metal Bolt Catch. The Magazines metal tooth, (empty magazine indicator), also takes a beating which also broke on me leaving me to throw out a $50 magazine, a while back. Regardless of knowing when to use/not use the full auto mode, the Bolt Catch keeps breaking... Will they ship me the part? The Bolt Catch Parts Number is E-29 and the Supplier Item Number is M63-C028-V?

      Yes

  • joseph from USA asked:

So I have two clips for this gun and on both of them only the left side drain the co2 the right side stays full but the gun stop shooting after the left side is empty just wanted to see if i could get some info on this?? thank you.

    • Horatiu V from USA:

i have found out that if you tighten the second(right) CO2 cartridge just to the point of piercing it it will fed from both , if you just as much as tight it to the point that its gonna get a little hard to rotate the alen key it will stop fed. the test to know how much you can tight it is to put a new co2 only into the second (Right) spot start tighten it after piercing co 2 will blow out trough the first (left) spot at that point keep tighten it to see when it will stop blow out then you know you got to far . it helped me got it going .

    • Mark from USA:

The clips are defective. You have a 1 year warranty thru Crosman on the gun and the magazines.

  • Rob from USA asked:

Unique possible issue here. It seems my gun ONLY uses the left cartridge and not the one on the right. When its time to change the co2 there is only a small amount of hiss unscrewing the left c02 but when unscrewing the right you wound think the right one is completely full by the amount of air being released. Is normal? Related question; how much hissing should I hear unscrewing a spent c02 cartridge?

    • Horatiu V from USA:

i have found out that if you tighten the second(right) CO2 cartridge just to the point of piercing it it will fed from both , if you just as much as tight it to the point that its gonna get a little hard to rotate the alen key it will stop fed. the test to know how much you can tight it is to put a new co2 only into the second (Right) spot start tighten it after piercing co 2 will blow out trough the first (left) spot at that point keep tighten it to see when it will stop blow out then you know you got to far . it helped me got it going .

The magazine is defective. You have a 1 year warranty thru Crosman.

  • Alan from USA asked:

Does an airsoft (6mm bb) mock supressor with the 14mm CCW thread affect the performance? Is there any problem regarding the diameter of the proyectile?

    • T from USA:

14mm suppressor is 2 times the diameter of the DPMS BBs.

    • T from USA:

To answer your question correctly, the DPMS shoots 4.5mm BBs. That 6mm mock suppressor should be fine:-)

    • Mark from USA:

The DPMS shoots .177 cal BBs,not 6mm airsoft. If you fit a fake suppressor for 6mm ammo there will be no issues.

  • Zach from USA asked:

Is the fire selector supposed to be slightly loose

    • Mark from USA:

It could be. We do not work on the DPMS. Contact Crosman for that question.

  • Jonathan from USA asked:

Can some one help me? I need help in putting all the springs back for the trigger. Please help!

    • Zach from USA asked:

      Is the forward assist real?

      • Mark from USA:

No. It is cosmetic only. The action is very different than a firearm.

    • carson from USA asked:

Will this go straight threw a can?

      • Mark from USA:

        Yes.

    • gerard from United Kingdom asked:

      • Mark from USA:

We do not know of any larger magazines

    • gerard from United Kingdom asked:

Can u get a 100 round or more than 25 round magazine for this crosman m4 here? And if so can u link it for me pls

      • Mark from USA:

We do not know of any larger magazines.

    • Steve from USA asked:

I am interested in purchasing the 300 round quick reloading magazine, when will this be available for the AR style Crosman full auto bb guns ?

      • Mark from USA:

That is a question for the manufacturer ,Crosman.

    • Roy from USA asked:

I'm interested at buying this rifle. Anybody knows if it shoots frangible BBs okay? For example, the Air Venturi Dust Devil BBs, which are also sold by PyramydAir.

      • Mark from USA:

The DPMS shoots Dust devils just fine.

    • scott from USA asked:

Is there a bulk air adapter for this dpms sbr?

      • Mark from USA:

        No

    • Jackson from USA asked:

Hey so my dpms will only cycle co2, it wont shoot bbs, help

      • Anders from Norway:

Check barrel for stuck BB, use a drop of oil in feedhole on mag and barrel.

      • Mark from USA:

The gun is defective. Contact Crosman.

    • chris from USA asked:

My charging handle catch broke what kind can I replace it with?

      • Mark from USA:

        For parts contact Crosman.

    • david from USA asked:

does it come apart like a real m4

      • Mark from USA:

        Yes; Pretty much.

    • Charles from USA asked:

Can the angled tactical foreground be changed out? I'm not a fan.

      • Mark from USA:

        The fore grip is removable.

    • david from USA asked:

What is the width of picatinny rails Like wat attachments can I add to this ??

      • Keith from USA:

Picatinny rails MUST BE to a tight US and NATO size specification, this is NOT the old Weaver rail dimensions. So, ANY accessory that says it's compatible with Picatinny should fit or you have a problem with that company, not Crosman.

      • Mark from USA:

weaver/ picatinny has cross slits on the rail. It is over 15mm wide. Most tactical accessories use ca weaver /picatnny raill

    • Tim from USA asked:

Can the dust cover on a crossman dpms sbr be replaced with an ar 15 dust cover

      • Anders from Norway:

Yes, I use Ar-15 dust cover. You have to use a dremel to make a small notch inside upper reciver and shave off a little bit on the backside of dust cover.

      • Keith from USA:

WHY would you want to change it to one from a AR15???? There is no point unless you broke the original.

      • Mark from USA:

We do not think so. No one has ever tried it.

    • Larry from USA asked:

Where would I find a speed loader?

    • Matt from USA asked:

Do you know if a bolt catch on a dpms would be compatible with crosman? If not where may I find one?

      • Keith from USA:

It automatically stays open after the last BB or when the CO2 is depleated so it can shoot another BB. You don't need one.

      • Mark from USA:

        For parts contact Crosman.

    • Roman from USA asked:

Anyone know a reason why the magazine would release all the CO2 out of the cartridge even though I installed the left side first like directed? All the air escapes through the nozzle on the right side. I have only used the magazine once.

      • john from USA:

i see most of these q&a are from 2018 i just bought the dpms sbr same issues with the mags doesn't load the 2nd one into the mag think crossman should of done alot more testing on both gun an mags before putting them on the market mags have a lot of internal parts that can go bad fast .

      • Keith from USA:

I'll bet you didn't bother putting any Pelgun Oil (or NON detergent Transmission oil) on the end of the CO2 caplet did you?

      • Leandro from Canada:

Ikr i have yet to figure out why mine does this. It sucks.

    • Wayne from USA asked:

Can you take that goofy stock off and use an actual stock like the MPW? if the MPW is build off this, then that would lead me to believe you could unscrew those two screws I bet are in the holes seen on the upper(fixed) portion of the stock and it would fit...

      • Keith from USA:

This DPMS is based on the Panther Arms DPMS and that IS the stock the real DPMS comes with. It's not "Goofy", just your tastes.

      • Kevin from Canada:

Unfortunately the striker and springs are built into the stock and it's not possible to take it off as the whole thing is connected to the lower receiver and necessary for the gun to work. If you want to use real AR parts, get the MPW.

    • Chad from USA asked:

Anyway to adjust the trigger, lighter pull and or length of pull? Stock one is horrible.

      • Keith from USA:

I'm working on that, but I'm a Gunsmith (a real one) and I doubt you'll be able to comprehend the work and process needed to accomplish a "trigger job". It really isn't that bad. I've worked on hundreds of Police Department purchased AR-15's from Colt and they are just about the same or worse. You should have seen the cr*p we got during the Vietnam war from Colt - 10 -12 lbs pulls and like draging the trigger through sand.

    • tommy from United Kingdom asked:

Hi can anyone help I need to find a link to put my Dpms trigger unit back together thanks

      • Keith from USA:

        Call or write Crosman.

    • Borjas from USA asked:

How do i remove muzzle breaker couldnt take off by hand

      • mike from USA:

The brake is 14x1 mm LEFT hand thread .Same as an AK.

      • Roman from USA:

The way I figured out how to remove the muzzle breaker was twisting it to the right. I guess it was threaded the opposite way so when you twist it clockwise, it should come loose.

    • Borjas from USA asked:

      How far does this shoot

      • Mark from USA:

        15-20 yards accurately.

    • Gary from USA asked:

Is there a replacement stock (different type or styles) for this DPMS SBR rifle?

      • Keith from USA:

You should have bought a different brand or model then, this is REPLICA of the Panther Arms DPMS and that IS the stock it comes with, otherwise it wouldn't be a "Replica". Crosman makes a US Military replica M4 full-auto now that has that horrible original type (weak) telescopic stock. This one will never break, which is why Pather Arms designed it.

    • Randy from USA asked:

After going back and forth over choosing this one or the SIG Sauer MCX, I finally decided to go ahead and pre-order a DPMS. I definitely want to buy a suppressor from wish, like I did for my Umarex Uzi that I bought here- but reading these Q&A, I can't figure out whether I will need to buy an adapter for the suppressor or not.. Also, is it 14mm CC or CCW? Thanks!

      • Keith from USA:

My AR uses a CCW supressor pattern, 14mm. Also, you're gonna LOVE this thing! ;)

    • Derrick from USA asked:

My magazine keeps falling out while firing or when the gun shakes. Is there anyway to fix this issue?

      • Keith from USA:

        Stop "shaking" your gun.

    • Sean from USA asked:

So my magazine is leaking Co2. I've followed directions with loading the right one first. I do this and it leaks where the 2nd Co2 goes. Why is this?

      • Keith from USA:

If you READ the manual and the cast inb PRINT on the CO2 loading location it SAYS install the LEFT ONE FIRST.

      • Roman from USA:

You load the left cartridge first. When the magazine slot is open, you will see that near the bottom of where the left CO2 cartridge would go it says FIRST but its very hard to see.

    • nicolas from USA asked:

How do I take angled grip off?

      • Anders from Norway:

The angled grip is called a angled grip not a pistol grip..

      • Keith from USA:

        It's called a pistol grip.

      • Keith from USA:

LoL NO, UMAREX can't help ya. this is a Crosman.

      • Christopher from USA:

there is an allen key screw that is not evident it should be on the left hand side of the grip it almost looks like a screw that holds the grip together you will need a small Allen key wrench to remove it once the screw is pulled out the grip will slide free

      • Jordan from USA:

Should be a screw in the grip. Contact umarexusa for more information on it.

    • Jonathan from USA asked:

Hey to all my airgunners does anybody know what type of suppressor the sbr would take 14mm positive or negative !?!

      • Keith from USA:

Threads are NOT "Negative or Positive", a machinist or plumber would laugh at you if you said that. Threads are either clockwise or counter-clockwise or Left or Right. Unless it's an electric motors thread (motor that turns a certain direction) ALL machine threads are COUNTER CLOCKWISE aka Left.

      • Christopher from USA:

From what I know negative should be counterclockwise I purchase one from this website a mock suppressor 14 mm counter-clockwise threaded and it works perfect

    • Michael from USA asked:

Can you replace the buttt stock on the SBR?

      • Keith from USA:

This is REPLICA of the Panther Arms DPMS and that IS the stock it comes with, otherwise it wouldn't be a "Replica".

      • Mark from USA:

We do not have any alternative butt stock. You would have to contact Crosman.

    • Donald from USA asked:

I was wondering does anyone know if the trigger can be changed on the crosman dpms

      • Mark from USA:

There is no trigger unit to exchange on the DPMS

    • Dakota from USA asked:

I am having trouble pulling the charging handle on my dpms sbr I took it apart and put it back together exactly the way the video showed me but for some reason my charging handle is jammed

      • Ahron from USA:

The buffer is probably jammed. You have to unjam it, that's what happened to me. Open ur bb gun and in the stock peice u should see the buffer, theres a small button on the bottom to release it but if its jammed then yea go figure, it wont pop out because... well its jammed, then you simply take a long alen wrench (maybe 8 inches) or something long and thin that u can stick inside then try to get all the pieces out, lubes it an itty bitty bit and put it back how u took it out and it should continue to work as usual. I figured this out by watching how to take down an ar but then when I looked at mine it looked like there was no buffer so I was like wait.. and then I figured it out. Ta da.

    • David W from USA asked:

Lubed my rifle according to the Crosman manual and now when I go to pull the charging handle, it moves less than a quarter of an inch rearwards. I called Crosman and all they said was to send it in for repair - WTF? Figured I'd ask here in case someone had a idea as to what I did wrong in reassembly.

      • David W from USA:

DOH! Had the rearmost part of the bolt assembly in backasswards.

    • Eric from USA asked:

Seems the buffer spring is stuck back. The slide moves forward and back when I tilt the weapon. Ideas?

      • Ahron from USA:

Scroll 2 questions up, that should answer your question

    • Jacob from USA asked:

Is the metal part for the bott catch suppose to be curved(bent) downwards? My lower and upper are sitting tight together either..

      • Keith from USA:

        What is a "bott catch"?

      • Tyler from USA:

        No, shouldn't be bent downwards.

    • Russ from USA asked:

What is the average or "on balance usual" number of shots one can get with this gun on full auto?

      • Christopher from USA:

I got about a hundred and eighty before the air pressure becomes useless

      • Tyler from USA:

The video shows about 175 shots

    • John from USA asked:

Do they make a pistol grip with sling attachment for this gun

      • Keith from USA:

I'm looking for the same answer about a more ergonomic pistol grip and a sling mount but for the "Upper" (like ones on a real M-16/AR that goes between the stock mount and Upper. The Grip is removable. The pistol grip is too weak to have the sling mount at that location. Lets have some help out there from Pyramid about Sling mounts!!?

    • David from USA asked:

When I ordered this rifle from you the bundle I bought included PellgunOil. However the instructions say to use RMCOil.. so which one do I use?

      • Keith from USA:

NON-Detergent Transmission Oil is the same as Pelgun Oil, even the color (Red) is the same!

      • Tyler from USA:

Depends on what you are lubricating. Pellgun oil goes on the tip of your CO2 powerlets when they are installed into the magazine. RMCoil would be good for lubricating the internals like the seal in the blowback mechanism.

    • zach from USA asked:

Is there a spare mag for this gun? The bottom of mine broke

      • Keith from USA:

There are spares, but they are spendy. I own 2, and have 2 more on the way, $50.00 each. That being said, there's also the ammo factor. This gun uses 2 cylinders at once, therefore, I'm currently setting up 4 cyl's at a time, soon going to eight! All to sling some metal through the air for around 5 seconds. Ain't it grand? ;)

      • Tyler from USA:

        Crosman DPMS SBR Full-Auto BB...

    • Wayne from USA asked:

Hey, how do you change the stock and grip?

      • Anders from Norway:

You have to live with the stock and handguard. You can use all ar-style pistol grip with minor modification.

    • Seth from USA asked:

Is the problems fixed with the dpms sbr and does it jam B.B. a lot?

      • Keith from USA:

Use Crosman Copperheads or Umarex 2252549 .177 Precision steel BBs. Not ALL BB's are "kosher" diameter (some from various brands are literally too big!)

      • Tyler from USA:

I've heard much less in terms of issues with this most recent shipment. Personally, I had zero jams out of mine.

    • Adam from USA asked:

Im having an issue when trying to reload the magazine where each bb gets stuck inside to the top of the magazine as if magnetized. Ive tried both steel and copper bbs hoping that may address the problem, but still no luck. Due to this issue, it takes much longer to refill the mag each time as I must use a small knife to manually push each bb down from where it is stuck just inside to the top of the mag. I insert the knife just above the bb and angle it such that it breaks the bond, allowing the bb to fall down into the mag. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

      • Michael from Canada:

There is no way that little magnet has been in that spot the whole time but there it is in the other piece of Crosman ful auto garbage I purchased. First a bb so stuck in the barrel I had to remove the barrel and cut the end off, joe I believe the barrel is a hair short so I will now cut some of the barrel off the SBR and attach it to the barrel of the R1 except now I am wondering if it is worthwhile with this magnet thing. I have never seen a brand new air rifle with this many issues out of the box, it is an embarrassment to Crosman. I bought the DPMS SBR from here and the R1 from Replica and I do not think I got 50 rounds through the both of them combined. I also bought the Springfield armoury XD from here and it came out tod the box with multiple malfunctions as soon as it arrived. I mean like shoot a mag, which was done after one round as the stopper for the Co2 welded itself in place after one try. I got a new mag and the gun started piling up on itself. Would not fire anything, just roll around in the chamber. Pretty frustrating.

      • Michael from Canada:

No, it does not. I thought my issues were sorted out but now that first bb in the mag will not fire because it is stuck to the little magnet at the top right where the Co2 should be releasing to propel the BB. I have successful put a few rounds through this piece of garbage so I took the magazine apart to see if there is actually a small magnet holding the next bb to be fired in place. There is

      • Tyler from USA:

On the DPMS mag, you don't load BBs in through the top of the magazine, you need to load it from the opening towards the bottom of the mag. That will make your issue a thing of the past

    • David W from USA asked:

Am considering purchasing one of these for the fun factor but am concerned at the number of problems folks seem to be having. Since Pyramyd's Q&A system doesn't tag peoples Q&A's with the date they were made, it's impossible to tell if these issues are old and Crosman has had time to fix them or if the issues are current. As of now, 12/6/18, are you guys still experiencing lots of issues new out of the box or within a short time of owning? I don't want to pay $150-$200 and have a temperamental POS that always is F'ing up.

      • Rafael from USA:

This gun has no issues. You will love it like I do after returning the mcx sig.

      • Tyler from USA:

From what I have been told, many of the issues people are reporting are from guns in the first shipment from months back. Like anything, you'll have some issues here and there, but looks like the more common stuff has been resolved.

    • Doug from USA asked:

What scope would I purchase for this rifle lmk Thanks Doug

      • Keith from USA:

You need a "Red Dot", not a "scope" as the range is only 10 to 15 yards at best. Any red Dot with a Picatinny mount will work, but get a sturdy one (not a cheap plastic one for a kids BB gun) because this DPMS has a good "kick" that will shake a cheapy apart in a few mag loads. I like BSA's tubular style Red Dots, in the $35 to $45 buck range on EBay.

      • David W from USA:

Realistically, for the relatively short range and non-precision accuracy of this rifle, I'd say get a cheap, small, fixed 4 power scope or maybe pickup a Bushnell TRS-25 Red Dot for it. Putting a variable power scope on it would be silly.

      • Tyler from USA:

That depends on what magnification you prefer and how much you want to spend. Any thoughts on budget and preferred mag?

    • Dory from USA asked:

I'm losing a lot of power I need help

      • Keith from USA:

Use a BIG drop of Pelgun Oil (or NON detergent transmission oil) on the end port end of the CO2 caplet. But if it's YOU that's "losing a lot of power", thry vitamins. ;)

      • Tyler from USA:

There are a lot of things that may cause that. Is your magazine leaking? Is it cold where you are shooting? Please provide more detail

    • Philip from USA asked:

Do they make larger capacity magazines for this rifle

      • Keith from USA:

A real AR15 clone only shoots 15 to 28ish (no one puts 30 rounds in the 30 round clip because of jamming), why do you think you need more than 25?" It's not a "REPLICA" then.

      • Rafael from USA:

        No but they need too.

      • Tyler from USA:

        Not at this time

    • Dory from USA asked:

On the crossman sbr what fake silancer or barrel extension will screw on it I see several for airsoft guns

      • Justin from USA:

Any suppressor with 14mm threads will work. I put one on mine with no problems.

    • Brenda from USA asked:

RE: The Crosman DPMS SBR Full-Auto BB Air Rifle speed loader. What is the order number for the speed loader, where can I get it, and how much does it cost?

      • Keith from USA:

I can almost load 25 BB's by holding the spring follower back with my thumbnail and using a BB "pour top" container, as you can with the "Speed Loader". Why bother buy more?

      • Christopher from USA:

As an update to my other answer if you want to purchase an umarex speedloader from an online retailer the adapter that holds the follower back can snap off the speed loader and be installed on an umarex speedloader. Check the customers images to see how they compare

      • Christopher from USA:

Although it won't lock back the follower you can certainly try using the umarex speedloader it's basically the same thing you just have to hold the follower back yourself just make sure you place a few drops of pellgunoil in the hopper in order to keep everything flowing smoothly and make sure that you tighten all the screws holding it together before first use

      • David from USA:

Mine came with the speedloader.. If yours did not I would recommend contacting Crosman..

      • Tyler from USA:

It's not currently available on PA's site, maybe contact Crosman directly?

    • Jen-Yen from USA asked:

How many regular metal (copper or zinc) BBs can you shoot with this air rifle, with a set of co2 (2 bottles) cartridges, before the speed/pressure is noticeably decreased?

      • Keith from USA:

Ditto the 175 to 180 depending on the quality (brand) of CO2 caplets.

      • Tyler from USA:

In the video, they got 175 shots before the point of impact really started to drop off

    • Nathan from USA asked:

Can I leave the co2 cartridges charged in the magazine while ejected from the gun for atleast one day ?

      • Keith from USA:

You can leave them in there for MONTHS! I've left CO2's in my Swiss Arms Sig Sauer SP2022 blowback replica pistol for 8 months and it still had nearly full pressure. Years, I would NOT do that, bad for the seals.

      • Tyler from USA:

Can it be done, yes. Is it recommended, no.

    • Greg from Canada asked:

Hi....what are the 2 little springs in the grip handle for? i want too switch.. Thanks

      • Anders from Norway:

Rear take down pin detent and safety/selector switch detent. You can use any ar-style pistol grip with minor modification.

      • Keith from USA:

How about sharing what you figured out?

      • Greg from Canada:

        I figured it out...

    • richard from USA asked:

Can you order a auto loader like the one that came with the gun

      • Christopher from USA:

you can also use an umarex speedloader as I said before but you can also take the adapter off the original speed loader and snap it onto the end of the umarex speedloader giving you full function check the customer images I placed an image of what it looks like next to each other with the adapter installed on the umarex version

      • Christopher from USA:

Although it won't lock the follower back like the original you can use the umarex speedloader they run about 9:10 bucks on the internet just make sure you put a few drops of pellgun oil in the hopper and crank down on the screws slightly before first use

    • Cameron from USA asked:

Where can I get some spare magazines? Is there a pre-order or anything?

    • Francisco from USA asked:

What is the length of the "short barrel"? And what was the ambient temperature when the 430 fps shot was made and was it a 5.1 gr BB, or less? Thanks

      • Keith from USA:

I got 418 to 438 fps, 10 shots using my favorite Crosman Copperhead BBs in my shop's test range with my Caldwell Chrono at an ambient temp of 80 degrees.

      • Tyler from USA:

I got 400 fps out of 5.1 grn BBs in 75 degree temps

    • Dat from USA asked:

Are the following parts compatible with AR Parts: the charging handle, Take down pins, Magazine release, Buttstock and Safety selector. Thanks

      • Anders from Norway:

Both yes and no. I use my dpms bb gun for training / magazine swap. I have mounted ar-15 magpul pistol grip, foregrip, fingerguard, ambi safety, mag release, dust cover and carging handle latch. I allso modified two ar-15 magazines for realistic mag change (because of realistic weight) You can't do anything with stock and handguard.

    • James from USA asked:

What size case will this gun fit in ?

      • Keith from USA:

With the Stock fully retracked you can use a 28" L x 12" H canvas case. Look at VISN cases on EBay, that's where I bought mine for $28 / free shipping

      • Danny from USA:

I used a Plano All Weather Tactical 36" Rifle case. Very nice. About $55 depending on where you get it.

      • Tyler from USA:

        UTG Homeland Security Covert Gun...

    • kurt from USA asked:

Has Crosman mentioned anything about a product recall for the DPMS or, other option in order to fix all of the problems everyone is experiencing ?

      • Tyler from USA:

        Not that I have heard

    • Steven from USA asked:

Has anyone had problems with the bolt locking back on last shot?

      • Michael from USA:

It is supposed to lock back on last shot just like an AR. Tapping the bolt lock tab on the left side of the gun will return the bolt forward.

      • Thomas from USA:

Mine will do that when it gets low on co2 [I'm guessing that's what's happening, otherwise something else is going on] If I manually pull the charging lever I can get more shots. I do this a few times until they're completely empty but I'm not sure if it's going to be a problem in the future.

      • Tyler from USA:

Can't say I have. Mine is still functioning perfectly.

    • Robert from USA asked:

YAY, pre-order for extra mags has begun.

      • Damien from USA asked:

Sorry to be annoying but how long is the muzzle device and how long is the acuall barrel? I want to make a funtioning supressor. Im pretty sure the barrel threads are 14mm counter clockwise(14mm-)

        • Phillip from USA asked:

I have had this gun less than a week and I think it is great, but the magazine started not to empty the second co2 cartridge properly. The power would get weak and the #1 cartridge would be almost empty, but plenty in the second. Then when I would load a new #1 cartridge, it would leak gas through the #2 cartridge before i could get it pierced. I have contacted Crosman. I do not know when I will get a replacement. Crosman indicated maybe 4 to 5 weeks. Kind of dissapionted on this. If I could see a parts blow up of the mazagine I think I could fix it.....kinda of a bummer for such a cool gun,, It was great for about 750 rounds.

          • Greg from Canada:

How many screws is there 4 to take out?

          • Rick from USA:

I have put approximately 600 rounds through my new DPMS, and it now too, is not discharging the second CO2 cylinder. As a matter of fact, each time I have unscrewed the second (right sided cylinder), I has been completely charged. No gas had been expended. That truly is a disappointment, as the rifle is everything else I expected it to be!

          • Evan from USA:

Mine started to do the same but hadn't reached that point yet I'm still waiting on my replacement gun from Crosman been about 2 weeks

          • Phillip from USA:

John. How is the check valve configured on the second Co2 assembly?

          • John from USA:

I discovered the problem with the magazine. The piercing cone on the Co2 chamber is being blocked and or constricted not allowing the Co2 liquid through the opening. The metal used for the piercing cones I believe is inferior and can bend easily. I took a close look at me DPMS magazine, keep in mind I have only ran about 6 Co2's through this. The number 2 piercing cone looked bent, obstructed and/or blocked. I have repaired one of these on a Crosman Comrade AK. Same exact problem with the DPMS magazine. It is very easy to remove these. Three Philip screws on the magazine then a large screw driver to remove the retaining screw, then remove the seal and the piercing cone comes out. I took a small diameter drill bit and opened up the hole in the #2 piercing cone back to its original diameter, reassemble it and now, 150 good shots. I believe this may be a temporary fix in that the cones may tend to bend again. An easy fix would be replacement cones and seals. I made PA aware of the defect and I will be contacting Crosman as well.

          • John from USA:

Ironically my gun is doing the same thing...sounds like a design flaw in the magazine.

        • Damien from USA asked:

How thick is the muzzle device/supressor in inches. Im just asking for diameter of the supressor.

          • Tyler from USA:

            1.25"

        • Damien from USA asked:

Is the stock Supressor an over the barrel type?

          • Keith from USA:

It's actually a "fake" Muzzle Brake, not a Suppressor. The thread is a STANDARD 14mm CCW aka Left.

          • Jon from USA:

Yes, it is over the barrel, but not a suppressor. You will need an adapter to make airsoft suppressors fit.

          • Tyler from USA:

There is no stock suppressor....it just looks like one.

        • Andy from USA asked:

Hi any suggestions on what to do if the charging handle is stuck & won't cock back even when everything is in place & bolt carrier is also installed correctly? Also what mock suppressor would i need for the threaded barrel & can I extend the barrel with a smooth bore mock suppressor? Would that effect the range? Also can i change out the charging handles & Dust covers?

          • Tim from USA:

I did that exact same thing, I thought the gun screwed up, no, I screwed up!

          • Robert from USA:

            Yes, 14mm CCW Thread

          • John from USA:

Simple fix. You installed the round piece, in the bolt above the charging handle backwards. It has flat side at one end. Make sure that it forward, closest to the front of the gun when you reassemble.

          • Evan from USA:

            Any 14mm I believe

        • Robert from USA asked:

I contacted Crosman regarding extra mags and was told they should be available in mid September. I sure hope so.

          • Tyler from USA:

That is what I have heard as well

        • gio from USA asked:

will the crossman 0290 red dot sight work with this particular model

          • Keith from USA:

ANY "Red Dot" sight that has a Picatinny spec rail mount will fit this DPMS. But here's a tip, stay away from the cheapo $15 - $20 Red Dot like the plastic Crosman ones meant for $25 BB Guns.

          • Tyler from USA:

No, try this one: UTG Quick Aim Electronic Dot...

        • Evan from USA asked:

Guys The speedloader Works beautifully get you a small bottle of black hornadays to break the speed loader in and then after that everything runs smooth even the bigger steel daisies. My copperheads now running beautifully. Broke it in with a half a 1500 bottle of the black hornys

          • Zachary from USA asked:

But stock buttpad is hard plastic though. Any suggestions for replacing or adding a softer buttpad? Unfortunately there's no obvious way to remove only the buttpad. Gun is otherwise absolutely fantastic.

            • Zachary from USA:

In case anyone is interested, the LimbSaver Snap-On Recoil Pad works great

          • John from USA asked:

my new DPMS SBR stopped shooting it just clicks when you pull a trigger had CO2 in it and cocked it nothing happened

            • Ryan from United States:

I had this same problem straight out of the box. Id flip the seal, get one shot out of it, and it wouldnt work again. So, i took it all apart again, this time i took the firing pin completely out, put just a drop of super glue where the seal sits, let it dry, put it all back together and it works beautifully. Havent had a problem since.

            • John from USA:

UPDATE I rotated my "Green" Blow-back seal. I went to shoot the rifle and after 1 round it would not fire. I opened up the rifle and discovered the seal was backwards again. I didn't think is was possible! I removed it and rotated it again. The rifle fired one round and again would not fire. I opened up the rifle again and the seal was backwards. What was happening is the seal just rotates and when this happens it creates more space in which the striker (i.e. firing pin) will not make contact with the Co2 release valve. This is a design flaw with the seal. The seals were never actually put on backwards as Crosman claimed, they just rotated. If it was put on backwards originally the rifle would have never fired from the beginning. Ambient temperature affects how easy the seal rotates as well as the spring pressure in the stock tube. In speaking with Crosman they advised they have a "clip" that can be placed on the striker pin to keep the seal from rotating. Haven't tried it yet

            • Eric from USA:

Hi John, this article might help you there is a problem with the green seal on some of these

            • Michael from USA:

john, take the bolt group out and reverse the green seal on the firing pin. I had the same exact problem.

            • Evan from USA:

Blowback mannequinism seal is trash most likely a defect in the way it's designed, and the worst part is you cannot find replacement seals anywhere I have searched. If I had to replace a seal once a week it wouldn't even bother me that much even though that's insane for $180 gun

            • Val from USA:

John, need to return it to Crosman for a replacement sounds like...

            • Tyler from USA:

sounds like the striker isn't hitting the valve on the mag. Take the gun apart and see if the blowback seal is still seated, if not, re-seat it and you should be good to go.

            • John from USA:

So what can I do to fix it

          • Michael from USA asked:

The spring riding the firing pin in the bolt carrier group has already broken after 300 rounds. Still waiting on customer service to reply to my email. Anyone else having problems with no CO2 pressure, the bolt locking up while firing, or the spring breaking?

            • Evan from USA:

Yes yes and yes. Is a major defect in the blowback mechanism, and the way the seals seats in it I have all the same issues, the seals eventually get worn out and will no longer seat properly I've had my gun for not even a week.

          • Peter from USA asked:

Ok, I got 1 shot off then the gun did not cycle. I pulled back the charge handle to cock it and got a dead click when I pulled the trigger but no shot. The striker is not hitting the valve and the green blow back seal is loose on the striker. How do I fix this?

            • Eric from USA:

Hi Peter try this article and see if it helps you, sounds like the same issue.

            • Tyler from USA:

You just need to re-seat the seal on the striker and you should be all good to go

          • Zech from Canada asked:

Can the muzzle end cap be removed to put on a mock suppressor?

            • Jon from USA:

Yes. I used a thread adapter and put an airsoft suppressor on mine. The dpms threads are smaller than 14mm, I believe they are 12 mm cc, but after the adapter, they will be 14mm cw.

            • Tyler from USA:

From what I have read, it is threaded counter clockwise, 14mm. So there should be a lot of airsoft suppressors that fit.

          • Evan from USA asked:

Anybody else have the magazine go bad less than 24 hours after getting the gun?? Or am I the only one? Edit: so after a little research the seal for the blowback mechanism comes loose once you figure out how the parts work you can replace the seal in the proper position and it'll fire again. But it was not firing as strong so I replaced the seal with a fresher one I had laying around and I got all my power back, but super disappointed after less than 24 hours I had to go through this

            • Jim from USA:

I have checked my seal and it is properly seated but still will jam. I attempted to replace the CO2 canisters but now if I put a new canister into slot 1( on the left) all the co2 expels through the number 2 (right side) slot. Maybe a bad magazine?

            • Adam from USA:

yes, I got 1 day out of it. Next day goes dead after 2 magazines. Second CO2 is completely full. Unbelieveable. Hope they fix soon.

            • Sean from USA:

No probs with the seal yet, but the spring in the mag sticks back and the plastic plunger on the speed loader broke. Also very disappointed.

          • Jake from USA asked:

how strong is the handguard? is it durable enough to put it on my AR 15? what about the stock? is it interchangeable?

            • Anders from Norway:

Yes it's strong. No. handguard and stock don't fit on Real steel ar-15

            • Christopher from USA:

Well if the grip is fiber filled nylon then you shouldn't have a problem especially on the bottom of the foregrip since heat will dissipate upward

            • Tyler from USA:

Very strong, but I wouldn't attempt to put it onto a real steel AR. Plastic with that kind of heat.....no thank you

          • Thomas from USA asked:

Can the side rails be removed?

            • Tim from USA:

Yep, just use a flat head screw driver, they come right off.

            • Tyler from USA:

Yes, it looks like they can be

          • Robert from USA asked:

I got my rifle today, all I can say is WOW. Only thing missing is MORE MAGS. WHEN do we get to order them

            • Tyler from USA:

Should be up for pre-orders soon, won't be available for a month or two though, least that's what I was told

          • Michael from USA asked:

3 magiznes and it completely stopped functioning!

            • Eric from USA:

Michael take a look at this article and see if it helps.

            • Evan from USA:

So how do we go about fixing this? Because after my 8th magazine less than 24 hours after receiving it my seals went bad as well. Pretty sure it's the right seal in the mag but could be the striker as well or both. EDIT: for me it was the blowback mechanism seal, I pulled it apart reset it and the gun fired again at about half power, luckily I had a fresh seal laying around swapped it out and got all my power back, but very disappointed less than 24 hours after receiving the gun I had to deal with this

            • Tyler from USA:

You can take it apart. If the gun just goes click when you pull the trigger, it's likely the seal for the blowback mechanism. It's possible that if it's loose it is keeping the striker from hitting the valve and letting out CO2.

          • ARTHUR from USA asked:

I OWN A UMEREX AUTO AND IT'S FUN TO SHOOT BUT LIKE THIS ONE I'D LIKE TO SEE THEM ADAPTED TO A REFILLABLE CANISTER LIKE THE PAINTBALL GUNS MAKING THEM MORE FUN AND AFFORDABLE TO SHOOT.

            • Greg from Canada:

              You can?

            • Devell from USA:

You can purchase a "CO2 To HPA" adapter and run any size HPA/CO2 tank you want.

          • David from USA asked:

When will extra mags be available? Thanks

            • Tyler from USA:

It's looking like they'll be up for pre-order soon, but probably won't be in for another month or two.

          • Paul from USA asked:

Oh my goodness, this gun is amazing. It feels like my real AR'S. This is for real. I am stunned at the quality and heft of this gun. Just outstanding. We'll see how it holds up, but I'm telling you this is a solid AR rifle. The fun switch, OMGOODNESS. So, can you tell I am stoked? :)

            • Tim from USA:

I love mine! Added a forward grip and red dot site, so much fun to shoot!

            • Tyler from USA:

I agree Paul. Very impressed with mine so far too

          • Mark from USA asked:

is there a mock suppressor for this gun?

            • Keith from USA:

David, don't know what you're talking about, the mock muzzle brake that comes on this IS IS IS a 14mm L (counter-clockwise) thread.

            • Jon from USA:

14 mm will NOT fit. I had to use a 12 to 14 mm adapter on mine.

            • David from USA:

Any airsoft 14mm CCW Barrel Extension will work.

            • Tyler from USA:

Not that I have seen, but it's brand new, so maybe someone will come up with something

          • Mark from USA asked:

            is the muzzle device removable?

            • Keith from USA:

It'll come right off. Just turn it THE OPPOSITE way that your instincts tell ya. ;)

            • David from USA:

Screw clockwise to take off and counterclockwise to screw on.

            • David from USA:

              Yes, I mounted a 14mm CCW Hive Barrel extension...Sweet

            • Tyler from USA:

Couldn't get mine off. Thinking not without damaging the gun

          • Robert from USA asked:

So now that my order has finally shipped ( I have a tracking number) how do I get my hands on more magazines?????

            • Tyler from USA:

PA will get them listed online once there is an ETA from Crosman

          • Andy from Canada asked:

When will additional Magazines be available,,,,,,,W/ a "Shooter" like this,,,,,,You'll definitely Need More than ONE!

            • Tyler from USA:

Still waiting on that info from Crosman. I agree, an extra mag or two is a must!

          • GLENN from USA asked:

Why would a dual CO2, full auto BB rifle have the BB feeder in with the CO2 magazine so a shooter can't quickly and affordably reload like with a drop out stick BB magazine ? Even the cheap junk Steel Storm has a fixed 30 round mag fed by a 300 round reservoir...

            • Keith from USA:

Take a GOOD look around Glenn, at least a half dozen other companies use the exact same all-in-one Magazine/CO2/BB feed system, even nearly all semi-auto pistols like the Swiss-Arms Sig Sauer Replica pistols and dozen other brands I can think of!

            • Evan from USA:

Good luck getting your hands on a second or 3rd mag. Not to mention they're probably going to be between 30 and $40 a piece plus shipping

            • Tyler from USA:

It's a full auto gun, are you really only going to run with one magazine anyway? The fact that the entire mag houses the CO2 and BBs gives it both a realistic weight and function.

          • Aaron from USA asked:

Does anyone know if the pistol grip is interchangeable with a regular AR grip? I don't like the A2 style and would install something else if I could.

            • Greg from Canada:

Why is there 2 little springs when you take the grip off?

            • Michael from USA:

Yes any mil-spec ar grip will work.

          • Joseph from USA asked:

Please say what the warranty terms are. Please say if there is a repair service for out-of-warranty problems....Thanks Joe LaCava

            • Tyler from USA:

It says right at the top of the page, 5 year warranty. That is offered through Crosman, so any of their warranty service centers would be able to help you out

          • Mike from USA asked:

will it work with the copper coated BBs with lead core, the low ricochet ones? H&N Smart shot.

            • Tim from USA:

I use those new Dust Devil BB's and I've used Copper Head BB's. No problem with either.

            • Tyler from USA:

I have verified that it does in fact work with Smart Shot copper coated, lead BBs without a problem!

            • Tyler from USA:

Because it has a magnet in the magazine, I don't think so

          • Justin from USA asked:

Does the bolt release work, like on an AR?

            • Tyler from USA:

              Yes

          • Jamaal from USA asked:

In the display video the guy said it comes with a speed loader, is this true?

            • Keith from USA:

Mine came with the speedloader. Simple AS to use. Worked the first time I tried it, and every time since. If you have half a brain, it'll work for you, too! ;)

            • richard from USA:

Speed loader does come in the box. It is not very sturdy and requires a bit of patience to use it. But it is a big thumb saver and does actually work. I plan on buying a second one for backup

            • David from USA:

Yes, one comes in the box.

            • Evan from USA:

They have promised in two separate promotional videos, speedloader would change the entire fun effect of this gun, so I hope so

            • Tyler from USA:

I have not seen one yet

          • Chris from USA asked:

Why is this product being delayed? The estimate stick date keeps changing. Once that date comes around it delayed again to a different date

            • Tyler from USA:

Haven't heard a reason yet. This is becoming par for the course for a lot of new products it seems. Wondering if it's the manufacturers reacting to a higher than anticipated demand or something else.

          • Evan from USA asked:

So far once a week since the announcement of this thing they have pushed the date back. Why? This is concerning. I have been on pre-order for a month now

            • Tyler from USA:

It hasn't been once a week, though it can feel like that. Haven't heard a legit reason as to why there has been the delay, but have been told that this latest update (early July) came direct from Crosman and they are confident they'll hit that. Not sure that means all of the backorders will be filled though, I've been told there are a ton.

          • Mark from USA asked:

r u guys 100% sure this will not come on june?

            • Tyler from USA:

With the amount of times it's been pushed back, can't be certain....but I'd say it's pretty unlikely

          • Michael from USA asked:

I see that the in stock changed again to 7/04/2018.Have they given any reason why it is taking them so long to get these out?

            • Evan from USA:

It's changed again to 7/9. Very disappointing

            • matt from USA:

6/11-7/4-7/9 the 9ths my birthday I hope that is legit final change!!!

            • Tyler from USA:

Not that I have heard. Hopeful that this will be the last/final change

          • Jamaal from USA asked:

            Which parts are metal?

            • Tyler from USA:

Can't say 100% for sure yet, but the majority of the gun is a glass filled nylon polymer blend

          • Bob from USA asked:

Is this rifle all metal Does it break down like the real steel

            • Tyler from USA:

It's a glass filled nylon polymer, and it does come apart very much like a real AR

          • Mark from USA asked:

can i mount a sling mounter on the buffer tube

            • Tim from USA:

I have the same question. When you remove the stock, there is still a top part, meaning not round to slip on one of those cheap add on sling adapters.

          • landon from USA asked:

Im so exited for this gun, have any idea when i can get my hand on one?

            • Tyler from USA:

As of right now (5/14/18) it's looking like early June.

          • Michael from USA asked:

What is the barrel length of the DPMS SBR? Why is the fps so low at 430fps?

            • Wild Bill from Canada:

It is usually low because the blowback function uses a lot of gas.

          • Derek from USA asked:

            Is the angled forgrip removable?

            • David from USA:

Yes, I used an allen wrench to take out the bolt in the foregrip to slide it back but you can also slide it off.

            • Tyler from USA:

It looks like it connects to the picatinny rail, so it should be, but we will find out more when they actually come out

          • Michael from USA asked:

Looks like now they pushed it back until June..can we cancel Pre-orders...it does not look like we not even get it this summer.

            • charles from USA:

Yeah...they dont care. Wonder what order number they will use. I ordered two...pyramid air scheme got all this honkys duckets!

            • Tyler from USA:

Sure, just give the customer service dept. a call with your order number if you want to cancel.

          • lonewolf from USA asked:

Does the magazine have a reservoir on or is it just like a regular mag. U empty it u have to refill

            • Tyler from USA:

              Regular mag

          • Bikramjit from USA asked:

Wait wait Wait! On this page one alert says in stock 5/31 and another alert says 3/15. Please tell me its a typo and is actually 3/15!!

            • Tyler from USA:

It has been pushed back by Crosman, looking like May now.

          • Dong-Jun from USA asked:

And can I buy extra magazines?

            • richard from USA:

Mags are back ordered right now. They are 49.00 each.

            • Tyler from USA:

Hopefully they will be available when the rifle is released.

          • Dong-Jun from USA asked:

What is the right ammo for this airsoft gun?

            • Keith from USA:

Not correct Dong-Jun. Not ALL BB's are created equal, some companies do not obey the maximumn or minimum BB diameter 4.3 to 4.4 mm (0.171 to 0.173 in) in diameter, but some companies are "sloppy" and exceed that specification. In my testing I've found that Crosman Copperheads stick with the .172 spec best and work best in any of the better semi and full auto BB rifles.

            • Tyler from USA:

First off, not an airsoft gun. Second, any standard .177 caliber steel BBs should work without a problem.

          • steve from USA asked:

they say it field strips like the real firearm does top an lower receiver just separate or can you actuality take out the bolt, charging handle ext..??

            • Devell from USA:

It fully breaks down like the actual rifle.

            • Tyler from USA:

Won't know until they come out, might want to ask Crosman this directly.

          • Wild Bill from Canada asked:

Can I buy extra magazines for this now? I pre ordered and I would like to get extra mags because one is never, ever, enough.

            • Wild Bill from Canada:

Thank you, I hope they become available for the time of release of the gun.

            • Tyler from USA:

At this point (2/26/18), there is no info on extra mags.

          • stefan from USA asked:

Is the receiver metal or glass filled nylon like the stock, hand guard and foregrip?

            • Christian from USA:

              glass filled nylon polymer

          • michael from USA asked:

Will it come in a box , or the insulting blister pack?

            • Danny from USA:

              Nice box. Well secured inside.

            • michael from USA:

$180 subgun in a blister pack would be a huge turn off

            • Tyler from USA:

              Don't know yet.

          • Justin from USA asked:

Can this be field stripped like an AR rifle?

            • Tyler from USA:

I know the upper and lower come apart like the real deal, but how much of the internals you can remove, I am not sure yet.

          • Andy from Canada asked:

Will This be available to Canadian customers???

            • Tyler from USA:

              Yes

          • anthony from USA asked:

Does it have a single or double stack mag? Will this fire the new Air Venturi Dust Devils?

            • Tim from USA:

I use the new Dust Devils and they work fine in my SBR but they ricochet like any other BB.

            • Tyler from USA:

              Not sure yet.

          • Randy from USA asked:

Will this come in another color?

            • Tyler from USA:

Did not see any other colors at SHOT

          • Ron from USA asked:

Are spare mags available for quick change when co2 in one mag runs out? Will this be offered in black only? No FDE or OD?

            • Anthony from USA asked:

How many mags come with it? When will they be available?

              • Wild Bill from Canada:

                Only one usually.

            • michael from USA asked:

Is this made in USA by Crosman ? If not where made.?

              • Gregory from Canada asked:

Is anyone else as excited as I am to shoot this air rifle?

                • Tim from USA:

I LOVE shooting this gun! I added a forward grip and red dot site to my rifle.

                • Wild Bill from Canada:

                  Absolutely!

                • Tyler from USA:

                  Of course!

              • michael from USA asked:

Does it have blowback and functioning controls?

                • Michael from USA:

Remember not all blowback weapons use a slide. This rifle's blowback functions like a Mauser Broomhandle in which you can see the bolt moving during the blowback phase of operation.

                • michael from USA:

video appears to show blowback similar to the MP 40. Hopefully will not come in oversized blister pack

                • Greg from Canada:

In one of the videos after last shot the bolt locks?

                • Tyler from USA:

No blow back, selector switch and mag release function

              • Cecil from USA asked:

How many BBs does it hold? How many will it fire per co2 cart pair in semi and full auto approximately?

                • Tim from USA:

My magazine holds 25 BB's. Full auto is awesome if you shoot in bursts.

                • Wild Bill from Canada:

The magazine only holds 25 rounds, I have got over 200 shot count in semi auto at 72 degrees fahrenheit. I haven't counted full auto yet.

                • Bryce from Canada:

From Phillip Guadalupe in Replica Airguns interview at Shot: semi auto ~ 175 shots... full auto 60-90 shots per 2-12g CO2s

                • Tyler from USA:

30 rds. Not sure on shot count yet
