  • Wes from USA asked:

What type of oil should be used to lube this rifle ?

    • Raul from Argentina asked:

      Send this product to Argentina?

      • Cliff from Canada asked:

Can you ship this rifle into Canada if the buyer does not have a PAL? Do you have a store in Canada? Can this pump air rifle be De-tuned for Pellets from 700 FPS to 500 FPS?, as that is the legal Limit for someone who doesn't have a PAL Acquisition License in Canada. Does Crosman manufacture this model in .22 Caliber?

          • David from USA asked:

For the Crosman Legacy 1000 the manual from Crosman recommends 3 to 12 pumps, yet Pyramyd Air is saying 3 to 10 pumps, why the discrepancy ?

            • Tyler from USA:

Further update from Crosman, 12 pumps is the max.

            • David from USA:

OK. I also noticed that, and that it talks about using CO2 later in the manual (this is a pumper NOT a CO2 gun).

            • Tyler from USA:

The info I am seeing shows that the manuals says "no less than 3 pumps, no more than 12" as a cautionary statement. Just a few lines below that (Section 5.A.5) it says "no less than 3, no more than 8. The last update we received from Crosman, and Crosman's site, show 10 pumps max.

          • Garrison from USA asked:

Can you mount a scope on this gun? What kind of mounts does it have if it has any?

            • Stanley from USA:

Yes it has an 11mm dovetail for scope mounting.

            • micheljgaudet from USA:

Please LOOK and READ the specifications tab_ all there for you.

            • Paul from USA:

Under specifications it says 11 mm dove tail. So yes it can be scoped.

          • Ringo from USA asked:

Is the receiver plastic or metal like the 2100 ?

            • Jeff from USA:

I have one and the receiver is black plastic not metal. (Unless it is some exotic carbon fiber.)

            • Sean from USA:

The receiver is metal like the 2100. Read my review, it is identical in most ways to a 2100 and spiffed up a bit.

          • paul from USA asked:

            When was this product released?

            • Joseph from USA:

This is a brand new model from Crossman as of July 2016

          • hegshen@yahoo.com from USA asked:

Is there any performance improvement over the 2100? Specs with lead pellets are almost identical.

            • STEPHEN from USA:

There a quite a few differences actually, a lot internal that you would not notice, however the biggest improvement over the 2100b is that the Legacy 1000 has a solid aluminum piston, versus the plastic piston in 2100b rifles. This improvement alone makes this rifle the one to get if you are trying to decide. Plus, it's less expensive!

            • Tyler from USA:

Spoke with our friends at Crosman, 12 pumps is the max.

            • Tyler from USA:

            • David from USA:

While I am still waiting for my first Crosman Legacy 1000, I would think that the stronger hammer spring and solid metal piston alone would make the Crosman Legacy 1000 more powerful than the 2100, add to that the manual says 12 pumps max for the Crosman legacy 1000 where the Crosman 2100 says max of 10 pumps. So it should be a good bit more powerful.

            • Sean from USA:

This is definitely just a new 2100 in black. Has the fiber opitic sight which you can get in new 2100s. I do believe it has a bit more power than a 2100, it's advertised max velocity is 1,000 fps, whereas the 2100 maxes out at 755 fps. It is definity more powerful than my 2100 but it's almost 30 years old.
