  • john from USA asked:

Does the TR77 have a hole for a scope stop pin in the receiver! It will move if not.

    • Mike from USA asked:

Does the stock actually slide or is it just for show ?

      • Stanley from USA:

        Just for show.

    • bela from USA asked:

Is recoil sharp like on Gamo IGT rifles that cause the scope to move forward?

      • pkfisher from USA asked:

using a utg 3-12x44 long scope. what mounts are preferred on the crosman tr77. thanks

        • Stanley from USA:

A one piece scope mount is always better on a break barrel rifle it helps the scope last longer. On a PCP theres no recoil so you could use whatever mount you want.

        • Ed from USA:

Based on my experience with the 3-9x32 UTG on the TR77NPS, am sure u should use high mounts. Consider the one piece Accushot, since it seems to be a very secure one on a dovetail, but check with PA and see what they advise.

      • Sebastian from USA asked:

How many lbs of cocking effort?

        • Ed from USA:

Definitely more than 30# on mine, but the short barrel is absolutely beneficial in handling and weight. Power and accuracy do not seem adversely affected. See my "customer review" for more.

        • Chevota from USA:

A regular Crosman nitro with an 18-19" barrel is about 32 out of the box. This one says 12" barrel plus whatever it has on the tip. I'm guessing 40-45lbs. The short barrel is imo a bad gimmick that increases cocking effort and drops power so what's the point?

        • Dan the Man from USA:

          Around 30 pounds.

      • Sebastian from USA asked:

How much "fpe" on this rifle?

        • Ed from USA:

Exactly 16.1 using RWS 7.0gr, based on "10 for $10" from PA with mine. Heavier pellets, up to a point, would give a bit more.

        • steven from USA:

Actually around 17-18. This thing is jacked up, loves 10.5-11.5 grain pellets.

        • Chevota from USA:

With that short barrel probably 12 +-1.

        • Dan the Man from USA:

Between 20 to 26 depending on the pellets your using.
