  • Richard from USA asked:

8k03714. I'm looking for the manufacturing date on my daisy powerline 880. Number on the barrel is 8k03714.

    • Stanley from USA:

Models with metal receivers and pump handles were made between 1970 and 1993. 1993 to present are plastic receiver and pump handles , the newest ones being China's version. 1970 to 1993 should say Rodgers Arkansas USA on the barrel shroud. Checking the internet might be of some help also?

  • doug from USA asked:

will bbs hurt the rifling in anyway. mines a laser w/rws superdomes and don't want to mess that up.

    • Stanley from USA:

Yes if you shot enough BB's through a rifled barrel they will cause harm.

  • Ernest from USA asked:

Do the H&N Excite Smart Shot 0.177 cal, 7.4 grain, copper plated LEAD BBs work in the Daisy 880?

    • Richard from USA:

Will work but you have to turn the gusts onto it's side so the ball will fall into place

    • David from USA:

Yes if you load them single, like pellets. Probably from feeder also as feeder works for lead round ball.

    • Stanley from USA:

No they would not work this rifle it has a magnetic tip on the bolt to hold the bb in place . They work best in guns with a spring loaded magazine or gravity feed.

  • Vince from USA asked:

Can i fix a scope on, if yes wich one in this website store?

    • Stanley from USA:

Yes a Daisy 4x rifle scope , comes with mounts. This one would work #PY-A-723 a Daisy 4x Scope......

  • Jon from USA asked:

What is the cocking effort on the 880?

    • David from USA:

Well pulling the bolt back (cocking) is only about 5 pounds effort. On the other hand PUMPING (NOT cocking) effort increases with the number of pumps, though is very easy.

    • Stanley from USA:

No cocking effort is listed only says 2 to 10 pumps. As the number of pumps increase it takes more effort. I have four of these and they are very easy to pump.I got my first one when i was 13 and had no issues pumping it.

  • christian from Canada asked:

does the daisy 880 come with ammo

    • Stanley from USA:

      No it doesn't.

  • Omar from USA asked:

Action kit 1361. What is in the kit?

    • Stanley from USA:

It just a number they use to describe this as a remanufactured unit , for less money . It is the same rifle as the new 2626 just remanufactured (gone through and brought up to new specs). Replace any parts that may have failed. Its a good deal for less money.

  • Luposian from USA asked:

Does anyone make a custom wood stock/foregrip for the Daisy Powerline 880? I'd really like to "upgrade" mine with such.

    • David from USA:

there is someone that does make the wood stocks, though I can not mention another vendor TOS.

    • Stanley from USA:

Not that I've heard of. I would like to do the same thing myself , it would be a nice upgrade.

  • matt from USA asked:

Is there a difference between the daisy 880 and the winchester 77xs?

    • Stanley from USA:

Mostly just the thumbhole stock and appearance other wise its the the same design. And 30.00 more.

  • Kim from USA asked:

can you put Diopter sights on this rifle

    • David from USA:

You would need a clip on globe sight for the front. Not sure who makes them, I have an older one that fits the Daisy front sight perfect.

    • Geno from USA:

No idea why youd want too... But yes it has a dovetail rail on the receiver but the sight would be too high and wouldnt line up with the factory front sight.
