Is there an advisable Time limit I can keep my rifle cocked without concern of causing damage to the springs or any other part of the rifle?
You should not be left cocked for more than 1/2 an hour. The spring will "take a set". It will stay compressed and have to be replaced.
What is the LOP on the Diana 240?
Can this go up to 75 yards with scope? Just shooting paper. Thanks.
75 yards is a bit far. even 50 yards will be a challenge. You need 800 fps + to get you out to 75 yards.
what is barrel droop?
If you google it you'll find lots of sites explaining what it is.
can this airgun kill a squirrel, rabbit, pidgeon or something else
At extremely close range . Yes(10-25 feet) The gun is a low power target/plinking gun. You need more power for a pest control gun.
What is the length of pull?
I really dont like the fiber optic sites on the Diana 240. Are there standard blade iron sites , front and rear, that Could be installed on the 240? Does not have to be Diana product.
Three drops of flat black paint works wonders
Will this rifle have barrel droop like most all other Diana's?
I agree with you that most Dianas are droopy. However, I just got a 240 and there is very little to no droop. I also recently just got a new Model 34 that has minimal droop.
A lot of break barrels have barrel droop not just Diana.
Is this made in Germany.
Yes, these are M&G (Diana) from Germany. Vic, AZ
Why doesn't anyone awnser questions on this rifle? I was hoping someone from Pyr would help me out sice I've purchased $11,000 in the last few yrs.
Looks like these are answered now...
Will this rifle be available in .22 caliber?
Actually, Diana does offer it in .22, but Pyramyd doesn't carry lower-powered rifles in .22. I've asked them about offering the HW30 and Air Venturi Bronco in .22 caliber. Pyramyd has answered similar to Val. Diana lists a .22 barrel in the 240 parts list, and other dealers outside the US carry it in .22. Here's a link to Diana's parts list for the 240. Barrels offered in both calibers. https://www.diana-airguns.de/fileadmin/Editoren/PDF-Downloads/Download-Techische-Info/Ersatzteillisten-Luftgewehre/Mod_240_Classic_T05.pdf
No plans by Diana to offer in .22, since the powerplant does not have enough power for .22 to make sense.
Where is the Diana 240 made?
