How many pellets can you shoot per 75 pumps?
We do not test to number of pumps. Only to a full fill.
Will it shoot slugs?
Single load. Yes.
does anyone know where to get a dust cover for the stormrider? Because I'm thinking it's not good to leave the intake port exposed to dust accumulation.
does the air pump that comes with the stormrider have a fill probe or do I need to buy one.
The Stormdrider comes with a fill probe that fits the HP pump.
How is the noise level compared to a break barrel like the Gamo swarm maxim?
noise is like blowing you nose. actually blowing your nose is probably louder
Is the gen 2 in this deal still made in Germany?
actually it's made in China my mistake
Any chance of getting a updated break down of 2nd gen gun. Two items fell out of gun when I broke it down a vribration washer and very small screw there is no place for the screw to fit??
If I buy this rifle (Diana Stormrider) and a scope (Leapers UTG 3-9x40AO True Hunter), could I adjust the zero for me? Is the pump Kit tested? Some people have complained because the pump kit does not fit well (I've read it on the internet). I have an address in Nogales, Az. for shipments. Thanks for your reply.
the fill probe is very tight fit in the female coupling. I had to tap mine in now it's a permanent fixture on the air hose. But it does work. I just cover it with a plastic bag to keep it dust free. Don't know about the rest
How many pumps to fill this gun from empty?
from empty to full may take about 75 pumps
enough to get you very winded
Does it have the T06 trigger?
No, this is a different trigger, though it is adjustable with two screws on the Gen 2 models.
How many pumps it take to fill up this rifle?
Does this combo require the stormrider fill probe to fill with the included pump?
Yes, the stormrider probe comes with it
Is it possible to mount a scope on thIs rifle . If so what will I need besides the scope and rings ?
Ifd you use a compact scope you may not need to remove front sights. I I took my front sight off and put a 22 cal scope on but didn't like it to long so I bought a compact and the put my front sight back on. looks and shoots great.
you also have to remove the front sight to mount a scope
All you need is the scope and rings, the rifle has an 11mm dovetail rail built into the breech
Which type of .22 cal pellet has the most knock down power? Im wanting the gun for small game hunting.
I shoot the 18.52 grain H&N Baracuda Hunter Extreme and they are devastating out to 50 yards plus.
The JSB 18.13 will probably give you the best accuracy/knock down power out of this rifle, but each gun is different so you'll want to test a few. I'd also look at the H&N baracuda pellets.
is there any significant noise level difference between the .22 and the .177 ? thx.
No, so long as you don't use a pellet that is too light in the .177 which may result in it breaking the sound barrier.
How much does just the rifle (.177) weigh? AND how does the discharge noise compare with other PCPs guns', especially Benjamin PCP?
The rifle on it's own is 5 lbs. The noise level is higher than a Marauder, quieter than a discovery/maximus. You'll want to use heavier pellets so you're not breaking the speed of sound which will result in a much louder noise.
Whats is the best weight of pellet in .177 for this kind of velocity
I have tested this gun in .177 caliber with both light weight (RWS diabolo) and mid-weight Crosman Premiers and JSB Exacts and it only gives a slight hint of supersonic crack in the RWS diabolo which is 7 grains and is relatively quiet with the mid-weight Premiers and JSBs.
In .177 I would recommend the heavier pellets like the 10.3 grain JSB heavy or the H&N Baracuda at 10.65 grains
