  • jake from USA asked:

What is the best pellet for hunting in this gun?

    • seth from USA asked:

How many pump from 0 psi all the way to max. on this gun?

      • Brandon from USA asked:

Does anyone know where I can get replacement baffles for the Hatsan AT44-10 QE Long .22 air rifle?

        • Tyler from USA:

Give Hatsan a call or email. HatsanUSA.com

      • Robby from USA asked:

Has anyone tried the Predator Polys, H&N Hornets, 33.95 gr JSBs, or the 31 gr Newboys in the .25 cal. I know that the magazine is rather thin, however, I'm wondering if I'm going to be limited the the 25 gr JSBs.

        • Q dizzle from USA asked:

Hi I just bought an at44 long qe and I noticed that the barrel seemed to touch the air cylinder and when i slid a piece of computer paper through the crack it proved my suspision. Will this effect my shooting?

          • Stanley from USA:

I have the QE long in 22 caliber and mine moves too , but doesn't seem affect accuracy one bit.It seems only the shroud itself is whats moving not the actual barrel . Mine moves enough to touch the air reservoir but thats it.

        • Brennan from USA asked:

Which would you consider .22 or .25, .22 for efficiency and quietness or .25 for power and knockdown

          • Stanley from USA:

I have the QE Long in 22 caliber and i use 14.3 hollowpoint. There is such a wide range of choice available in this caliber plus you can buy them almost anywhere , that being said i have heard that the QE is very quiet all calibers thanks to the QE noise reduction system. I have the Gladius Long in 25 caliber and it puts the hurt down on whatever your shooting at ( great knockdown energy ). If your looking for knockdown bigger is always better. Maybe one day the 25 caliber will be more readily available in different weights. I like the JSB Exact Kings 25.39 grain in my 25 calibers. Good all around pellet. You can't go wrong with either caliber .My opinoin for what its worth.

        • Billie from USA asked:

Hi Do they make a tray for this rifle so you can hand load for the the poll mags and what not that won't fit in the magazine Thanks in advance

          • Stanley from USA:

Unfortunately they don't that I've ever heard of ? You can contact hatsanusa.com and inquire and they could answer your question.

        • imsuwati from India asked:

Hello once again which. 177 caliber pcp is more accurate for small game hunting....and can we decock hatsan pcp's

          • Stanley from USA:

For small game .177 is very effective ( depending on the pellet chosen) in .177 i use crosman premier 10.5 grain dome . Have taken out rock chucks with this pellet that are bigger than a house cat . My QE long is 22 caliber and i use crosman premier 14.3 grain hollowpoints with great results. Everyone has there own opinions on what the best pellet is , you just have to experiment for yourself , this one works for me, thats all i can tell you. Yes the rifle can be decocked .

        • Billie from USA asked:

Can you use the wire brush in the barrel to clean it.. Really don't want to damage it

          • Stanley from USA:

There are rifle cleaning kits available for a reasonable price. I wouldn't use a wire brush. Or you could search the internet for ideas , like you tube ? I started shooting mine right out of the box , and is very accurate.

        • Billie from USA asked:

What would be the heaviest pellet you would shoot out of the hatsan at44-10 qe long?? I'd like to try the 31 grain in my .25 caliber??? Not sure if it would damage it.. .

          • Stanley from USA:

As you know the rotary mag isn't that deep so as long as it fits and doesn't stop it from turning , then it should work . I believe i read a review were someone tried a 31 grain with no problems ? Might have been a Gladius 25 ? Same mag.

        • imsuwati from India asked:

Hello which hatsan pcp is lighter

          • Stanley from USA:

The AT44-10 QE . Not the long version. Weighs in at 8.0 pounds .

        • jaime from USA asked:

Which one you recomend, hatsan 44-10 QE or benjamin marauder bote .22 pellet for dove and rabbit hunting and which scope for ea ha one

          • Stanley from USA:

Either one would be a great choice , the m-rod would be the lighter of the two .I have the QE Long in 22 caliber and it is extremely powerful and quiet . I have read about a lot of issues with the m-rods, but in the the end its up to you? There many video reviews and articles on both ,compare and make your choice. My QE has an MTC Viper 6x24x56 side focus scope with high hawk mounts. Can be comparable to a Hawk sidewinder , i favor the Hawk scopes mostly because the controls are smoother and more precise. I know thats a lot of scope but at long distances its hard to beat. There are lighter scopes out there .Good luck.

        • Matthew from USA asked:

          Is the stock ambi?

          • Stanley from USA:

Mine and other reviewers have said it comes out of box discolored , don't alarmed it cleans off with simple green.

          • Stanley from USA:

            Yes.

        • Jocelio from USA asked:

This rifle use a barrel by Lothar Walter? Can I use a diferent gas mixture like Co2 or Nitrogen? Do you have recent facts of sales and shipment to Brazil? Thanks.

          • Stanley from USA:

The barrels are german steel just as accurate as lothar walther . High pressure air only.

        • StridinSpider from USA asked:

Hi guys Where does the regulator upgrade go on this rifle? Also, what will happen to the 1070fps when regulator is installed, will it drop to 800s or something? I would like to have the more accurate shots and would not mind losing some velocity, says it set at 125 bars and am not sure what that means in relation to power loss.

          • Tyler from USA:

It goes inside the air cylinder. You will have to adjust the hammer pre-load so you will lose some velocity. Not sure what the approx. loss in velocity will be though. The reg being set at 125 BAR means that as long as you have over 125 BAR in the cylinder, the regulator will function as it should. Once you drop below that pressure, you will be "off the reg" and experience a pretty quick drop off. But up to that point, the shots will be far more consistent in terms of velocity variation from shot to shot.

        • hunter from USA asked:

can i pump this thing up from 0 psi all the way to the max with a air venturi g6 pump

          • Stanley from USA:

Im using the hill pump no problems.

          • Paul from USA:

I use a benjamin hand pump, so I don't see why other hand pumps wouldn't work.

          • Stanley from USA:

Any hand pump made for filling PCP's will do the job . So yes.

        • hunter from USA asked:

can i leave air in the gun if im done hunting u know come home and put the gun up with 2000 psi in the tank

          • Paul from USA:

Yes, I keep mine stored at 2900 PSI. I have read It is best to always keep some positive pressure in the gun, to keep contaminants from getting in.

          • Stanley from USA:

I own this rifle in 22 caliber and it holds air indefinitely , doesn't leak out.

        • David from USA asked:

Hi, about the 44 10 qe long 22. Its rated 2 low medium but it sounds like a 22 rimfire at any pressure, shooting a 14.3 pellet. Why anybody have any idea?

          • David from USA:

            Thanks paul and stan.

          • Paul from USA:

When you shoot lighter weight pellets, they may break the sound barrier, which causes the "rimfire" crack you hear. I use a 21 grain pellet and mine only shoots at 900 FPS, which is below the speed of sound, so much quieter. :)

          • Stanley from USA:

I have this in 22 caliber and is an awesome rifle when you shoot it all you hear is a ping from the hammer hitting the valve . More noise is made when the pellet hits the target than anything. I use crosman premiers 14.3 hollow points and they are accurate from this rifle. When you hit something it stays down.

        • Raymundo from USA asked:

Does PA carry the same versions as this gun in a woodstock?

          • Tyler from USA:

PA does not currently show any wood stock QE versions of the AT44. Only the non-QE models

        • Geronimo from USA asked:

What are the specs for the scope and bipod they are currently including with the rifle?

          • ray from USA asked:

what rail system can i use on this rifle. and keep the scope low?

            • Stanley from USA:

Depends on the scope you want to use and the rail system? I mounted a viper 6x24x56mm scope on mine with hawk two piece rings.Even for a scope this big it mounts low. I like them that way too.

          • Stanley from USA asked:

Is there any way to quiet the ping made by the hammer striking the valve?

            • Barry from USA:

Install bottle brush half way down air tank works great check you tube

          • jennifer from USA asked:

Can the air cylijder be stored while filled can the air cylinder be stored full

            • Stanley from USA:

I have the 22 caliber and seems to hold air indefinitely . It shouldn't leak. If it does return it.

          • jennifer from USA asked:

Can the air cylinder be stored while filled

            • Shane from USA:

Yes. There should not be a leak in the cylinder, so it should hold air. The seals should also be able to withstand the pressure for long periods of time.

          • chane from USA asked:

can this rifle use dry nitrogen instead of hpa

            • Craig from USA:

              No, just hpa.

            • Stanley from USA:

Its only designed to use HPA .

          • jennifer from USA asked:

            Can i kill a racoon in.22

            • julio from USA:

              Yes!!

            • Craig from USA:

So another words... yeah it will totally kill a raccoon. with a head shot.

            • Stanley from USA:

At 1070 fps. you bet it can. I have this rifle in 22 caliber and it is very powerful and accurate.

          • Claudio from USA asked:

What kind of o-rings should I order for replacement on the quick disconnect valve and air cylinder?

          • SEBASTIAO from Brazil asked:

can it be send to Brazil? If so,how is the total price?

            • Tyler from USA:

You will need to check with customs in Brazil to find out if you could import it. I do not show any explicit restrictions currently. The shipping cost could be calculated by adding the item to your cart and entering your address on the shipping information page.

          • Rick from USA asked:

hatsan show this unit with thumb hole and adjustable comb. Is the image your using accurate?

            • Tyler from USA:

Yes, this is the version we carry. I have yet to see a thumbhole/adjustable cheek version of the AT44 in the US.

          • Stanley from USA asked:

Does this fill via foster fitting? I have a air force pump do i need additional fittings?

          • Ed from USA asked:

Will PA carry the thumbhole stock at44 long QE soon?

            • Richelle from USA:

No, that one has been discontinued. We now have the Hatsan Galatian QE Air Rifle which has a thumbhole stock.

          • steve from USA asked:

do i need a special fitting to fill this? I have a foster fitting for my Maurauder and a different on for my Walter 1250 Dominator.

            • Stanley from USA:

You will need Air Venturi Male Quick-Disconnect, 1/8"... to fill this rifle.

            • Richelle from USA:

You can use the PCP Hookup tool (tab to the right of Questions & Answers) to determine what is needed.

          • Eugene from USA asked:

Is this rifle available in the thumbhole like the hatsan web site?

            • Val from USA:

Not the long version. Short version AT44-PA is available, but it's not QE series (no sound suppression at all)

          • Eugene from USA asked:

Is this rifle adjustable like the Marauder?

            • mike from USA:

The Marauder is totally adjustable, hammer preload, hammer throw, etc. Tha AT44 is also adjustable; you can adjust the hammer preload. It takes a chronograph and a lot of fine adjustment though.

            • Val from USA:

Marauder power (FPE, FPS, shot count is not adjustable). You probably are looking at what the specs are for different calibers (and different calibers have different characteristics).

            • Eugene from USA:

Just about everything. FPS, FPE, Shot count.

            • Val from USA:

              what's adjustable in Marauder?
