  • Sharp, from USA asked:

Is there grouping data on this gun at various distances and pressure levels? Say: 15 meters, 25 meters, and 35 meters? As the pressure goes from 3000 to 2000 psi? I would have thought that this data would be front and center of any description of this rifle. Thanks in advance! Oz#

    • Rocky from USA asked:

How many pellets does the .177 gun hold

      • Roger from USA asked:

Can slugs be used in this gun? can it be converted for left handed shooting?

        • Ross from USA asked:

Can this rifle be tuned down? I would like to get it under 600 fps.

          • trenton from USA asked:

My gun will fill to the 100 bar then just build pressure on the hose

            • trenton from USA asked:

I recently bought a hatsan flash qe ive been shooting it for anout 2 weeks now today i went to add air and it will not take air at all! Just fills my pump line and does not let it enter my gun

              • MICKEY from USA asked:

Just got my flash hand pump is building pressure but it's not filling into the rifle

                • Mark from USA:

First cock the gun. Center the fill probe in the air tube, Do not push all the way in. The o-rings provide the seal. Try filling. If nothing works the gun is defective, return it. https://www.pyramydair.com/contact-us

              • Zach from USA asked:

Does this Gun come with a scope?

                • Mark from USA:

                  No

              • Zach from USA asked:

What speed will this Airgun shoot a 22 grain pellet?

                • Mark from USA:

                  Between 850 and 900 FPS

              • Vicente from USA asked:

what pellets should I use for the Hatsan Flash

                • SBE from USA:

My .22 Flash absolutely loves the H&N Baracuda. one hole at 25 yards is easy, and it gives very high energy, and incredible penetration.

              • Aaron from USA asked:

Will the standard Predator polymag fit in the magazine or should I get the shorts?

                • Mark from USA:

The polymag Shorts will fit the magazine.

              • Orlando from USA asked:

Hello. What items are included in the purchase?

                • Cris from USA:

I recievec my Hatsan Flash qe .25 about 2 months ago in the box was the air rifle 2 rotary clips and a single shot tray As well as a fill probe

                • Mark from USA:

The rifle.fill probe ,2 magazines,a single shot tray, scope and rings, and a manual. There is no single shot tray in 25 cal.

              • Cassandra from USA asked:

Hello where is the o rings on the Hatsan flash(breech ring)

              • Jarrod from USA asked:

Can I put an air stripper on the flashpup

                • Mark from USA:

Yes. The shroud end is threaded. There are baffles in the shroud,. An air stripper is superfluous .

              • Jarrod from USA asked:

Hey guys I bought a flashpup synthetic. 25 a couple months ago and I was wondering if I'm able to install a moderator, I'm asking cause it looks like my barrel is one solid piece?

                • Maurice from USA:

DonnyFl is the best I've found. I use the Sumo or Tanto on mine.

                • Mark from USA:

The shroud has an integral moderator. If you remove the shroud you an mount a moderator on the barrel.

              • Maurice from USA asked:

Will my red face mags (the newer ones) that came with the Flashpup (25 cal) work with the Flash?

                • Mark from USA:

Yes. the action is the same in both guns.

              • Vicente from USA asked:

what fill probe does a Hatsan flash use

              • Maurice from USA asked:

Does the new Flash QE come with the newer (red face) mags?

                • Mark from USA:

                  I(n 22 cal yes.

              • Chad from USA asked:

Any additional advice on a scope? I was thinking UTG 4-16x44 AO, but others advises 3-12x44 Or 3-9x40. Wondering if anyone else has a recommendation. Also, mine came with a free hatsan 3-9x40. Is this a very good scope?

                • Maurice from USA:

Actually the scope that comes with this isn't a bad scope. I'd give it a try and see if it works for you. You might save yourself a hundred bucks or more. And you could buy a lot of ammo with that money.. Or buy a Donnyfl moderator and make it whisper quiet.

              • Gary from USA asked:

Gun came today. I did a dry test fire and then fired one pellet. I'm just a little under 100 on the gauge but not at that first mark under 100. My pump won't be here for a few days. I had to open the bolt to remove the magazine. Can the gun stay cocked for a few days? I'm nervous about firing it again because I don't want the pressure to fall to low.Would one more dry fire be OK?

                • Val from USA:

Yes, one dry fire is fine. You will not loose too much air.

              • Dustin from USA asked:

Can u filled it with a regular air compressor

                • Mackinnon from USA:

                  wait, what? thirty-thousand?

                • Mark from USA:

No . A compreesor has to go to 30000 PSI to fill an airgun.

              • Ken from USA asked:

Is it possible to switch out the polymer stock and old bolt handle for the walnut stock and new bolt handle on the same rifle?

                • Maurice from USA:

At this price I'd just buy me another but with the wood stock. Maybe in a different caliber so you can switch up now and then.

                • Mark from USA:

that is a question for Hatsan USA.

              • stephen from USA asked:

Are they making the new ones with a regulator?

                • Mark from USA:

                  No regulator in gun.

              • Stephen from USA asked:

what is the part number for the breech o-ring for the Hatsan Flash QE 25 cal? better yet what is the size of that o-ring

                • Maurice from USA:

I'd take the old O ring down to the hardware store and match it up with one there.

                • Stephen from USA:

no one answers the phone or calls back after leaving voice mail. The exploded view of the gun on their website does not show the breech seal o-ring for some reason. After filling out the service form several times no one has even responded in email. Seems like customer service is a complete joke

                • Mark from USA:

All Hatsan parts come thru Hatsan USA.

              • paul from USA asked:

Does this Hatsan Flash in 22 caliber come with a fill probe? If not what type is needed. And are these magazines proved the new upgraded or will I have loading problems too

                • Daniel from USA:

In my case, an adapter was not needed, apparently because the pump I ordered (MK4) comes with the appropriate connector. I would be sure to inquire with PA sales for your specific situation.

                • Mark from USA:

The Flash comes with a probe. You will need an adapter for the fill probe. Air Venturi Male Quick-Disconnect, 1/8"....

              • Nasimuddeen from India asked:

How can I get it in India do you want any of documentation for cleanup on airport in customs.

                • Eric from USA:

We cannot ship to India at this time, sorry.

                • Eric from USA:

We cannot ship to India at this time, sorry.

              • Nasimuddeen from India asked:

Its use by which material to made that iron or any other.

                • Mark from USA:

The Hatsan Flasn is bult of steel.aluminum, and plastic.

              • Amos from USA asked:

Does anyone shoot H&N Grizzly hunting bullet, 31 gr, out of this gun

                • Brandon from USA:

Yeah, the .25 fits the mag just fine.

              • Amos from USA asked:

Can you fill this from 0 psl with a hand pump? Or do you need a tank.

                • Daniel from USA:

From zero, probably 60(ish) full strokes (down and then back up) would get you to 200 bar. This is my experience using a MK4 pump, and I'm not a big guy. If I can do it from zero with a hand pump, I'm pretty sure anyone can. Since owning the Flash QE, I've not let the pressure drop to zero. Usually I fill to 200 bar, which allows me to go through 2 full magazines (24 rounds) with no observable loss of performance. Then, once I've gone through both magazines, I refill the gun to 200 bar, which takes probably about 40 full strokes. And from my perspective, I appreciate the little bit of a workout I get from hand pumping.

                • Jordan from USA:

you could but from 0 you might have issue getting it started.

              • Dick from USA asked:

One of the questions asked was about an adapter for an LDC. The response was that there was one available and the response indicated that an LDC would make the Flash much quieter. What is an LDC and where can I get one with an adapter? More quiet sounds like a good idea.

                • Maurice from USA:

The Flash will take an LDC/Moderator, you will need an adapter that screws on the end. The Donnyfl is the best I have found and he sells the adapters as well. The Flash is quite quiet as is though. The Sumo or Tanto will make it whisper quiet.

                • Mark from USA:

We do not sell moderators. They are available in the aftermarket.

              • JON from USA asked:

Do the 43.2 grain Eun Gin pellets for the magazine, and feed?

                • paddy from USA asked:

I just got my new flash qe,i cant figure out how to fill it with my pump..there is a small rubber piece that pushes out, but then what? there really is not much on this..please explain..

                  • Maurice from USA:

                    Lots of videos on YouTube.

                  • Daniel from USA:

It's very similar to how one would put air into a bicycle tire. But the "genders" are reversed: On the bicycle, the tire is male whereas the pump is female; it's the opposite with the gun. Also, don't forget to "close" the drain valve on the pump BEFORE you start pumping. Once done, OPEN the drain valve on the pump so as to release all air from it.

                  • Tyler from USA:

What kind of pump do you have? You need to attach the fill probe (cylindrical brass piece with two orings on it and a hole between them) to your pump and then insert it into the hole on the end of the air cylinder. The user manual for the gun should show/describe this process.

                • Thomas from USA asked:

Anyone find a good piccatiny mount bipod for this rifle. I'm also interested in any thoughts to attach a bipod but also a sling. Any help with what adapters or attachments would work with this rifle to have a bipod and a sling stud/ strap loop also on the front of the Flash? I guess a sling would attach to an adapter in the front on the piccatiny and maybe Velcro attachment at rear?

                  • Daniel from USA:

For my Flash QE I use the Hatsan Optima Universal Tactical Bipod (with picatinny mount). It readily fits onto the very small length of picatinny rail near the front of the gun. It also has about a 2-inch adjustment range (height) and the legs fold towards the stock of the gun. It works very well for me so far.

                  • Tyler from USA:

Most of the UTG bipods have picatinny attachments. I like this one: UTG Bipod, SWAT/Combat Profile, Adjustable... Then you could attach a sling swivel like this behind it on the rail: JB Unicorn Sling Mount With...

                • Thomas from USA asked:

Has anyone attached a sling? If so any links to types appreciated.

                  • phil from USA asked:

I just got the flash 25 I shot It a few times in temperatures about 65 degrees .Then I took it out at about 19 degrees and it was very weak in the cold is this normal?

                    • Tyler from USA:

Do you have any chrony numbers or data to verify that? The cold can certainly have some impact but it's usually not too significant.

                  • chester from USA asked:

Am I supposed to feel air by my hand when I shoot my flash?

                    • Tyler from USA:

That depends....which hand and where is it placed?

                  • Brian from USA asked:

what height scope rings are required?

                    • Gary from USA:

.7" high clears the magazine with the bump for the windage controls positioned just behind the magazine.

                    • Tyler from USA:

Required....that will depend on what scope you are mounting. I would recommend high rings as that will ensure you clear the magazine and the objective end of the scope clears the barrel shroud

                  • frank from USA asked:

i am ready to buy this now,but i need to know the length of pull? need 13.25 or close.

                    • Airguns NorthWest from USA asked:

Does the Flash have a metal, or plastic trigger?

                      • Danil from USA:

                        Metal, but guard is plastic

                    • Michael from USA asked:

Im looking into getting pcp airguns, what kind of pump is required for this?

                      • Daniel from USA:

I have the MK4 and can vouch for it being out-of-the-box compatible with the Flash QE.

                      • Tyler from USA:

I would recommend the Hill pump, the fill adapter for the Hatsan will screw right into the end of the pump hose: Air Venturi MK4 by Hill...

                    • Ronald from USA asked:

Can I put a sling on my hatsan flash

                      • Sion from USA:

Yes but there are no sling mounts so you'd need to use some type of non swivel sling

                      • JON from USA:

I have. There are various ways to do it, but here's what I did. I put an AR type tactical nylon and Velcro band, that has a ring to attach the sling clip, behind the pillar that is midway in the rear stock cut out, and wrapped it nice and tight, so that it doesn't slip. Then, I put an offset picatinny sling post mount on the pic rail that lives in the underside of the forearm. I use an inexpensive, adjustable tactical type sling on many of my rifles, because of their ease of installation, and versatility. They also wear extremely well and are very lightweight. They're also pretty darn comfortable, and allow you to use the sling to stabilize offhand shooting by wrapping the sling around your forearm. You must use a picatinny adapter on the guns forearm to mount any sling, because of the thickness of the stock polymer. I'm pretty sure, that unless you are comfortable with working polymer, that the buttstock probably cannot be drilled in such a way as to prevent cracking, and localized failure of the polymer. That said, why bother? The adapters look fine, and do not alter the stock in any way, so resale is unaffected.

                    • Aztec from USA asked:

I just purchased a Hatsan Flash in 22 cal from here. I have watched many a video about the mag probs with this gun. Now Hatsan has redesigned the mags & from all the newer videos i have watched the loading probs have been solved. So my Q is: does this gun come with the updated mags or am i going to go thru Hatsan to get the newer mags (u can tell the diff. cause the new mags r RED) Thanks Guys.

                      • Daniel from USA:

In late-June (2019) I ordered from PA my Hatsan Flash QE (.22) and I am having no issues with the magazines (the two I have came with the gun).

                      • Aztec from USA:

Received my Flash 22 cal 2day (Oct 3rd) boy am i pleasantly surprised with this gun, not only was it what i was hoping 4 in my 1st PCP gun the build quality in this price range i feel is exceptional, & it came with the NEW & IMPROVED mags (the RED 1s) NICE job Hatsan so i guess i answered my own Q about weather this gun came with the redesigned mags IT DOES!!!!.

                    • John from USA asked:

I'm new to PCP guns, this is my first. Can I pump it up into the red zone on the gun's gauge? Looks like red begins at 2000 but ad says 2900, is that PSI? I still get confused with that and "bars". Right now I've got it halfway into the red, but concerned heat may increase the pressure if I store a couple days. How can I release air without firing? Also, leaks at the quick connect, will teflon tape do the trick? I don't want to over tighten.

                      • Tyler from USA:

The gun fills to 2900psi which is 200 BAR. Shooting it down via dry firing is the best way. If it leaks from the threads where the QD fitting threads onto the fill probe, yes some teflon tape will help, but first make sure it is tight. Maybe tighten it a little and try again.

                    • Richard from USA asked:

I have noticed it is getting harder to insert and remove the fill valve into the rifle when filling with air. Do the o-rings need to be oiled and if so what type of oil would you use to not damage or erode them?

                      • Daniel from USA:

I took an old, unused section of hard-rubber hose (like what might be used for a fuel line on a small engine), reamed it out a bit, and now slide the fill probe into that when it's not being used to fill the rifle. I'm not sure that Hill (the maker of my pump) would encourage that, but I wanted to be able to "garage" my fill probe so as to protect it from damage and degradation. And while I'm filling the rifle, I put the "dummy" fill probe (that comes with the gun) into the hose for safe-keeping (like me setting it down who-knows-where and kicking it or stepping on it....) If you haven't already, you might consider doing something similar. And thanks to Tyler for the recommendation. I had been unable to find anything I thought definitive on this topic. (Now that I think about it, perhaps I'll put some silicone into that hose to keep the o-rings lubricated....)

                    • Brian from USA asked:

what is the longest pellet the magazine can accommodate? Or will the jsb redesigned monster fit?

                      • Dillon from USA:

H&n long-range barracuda are the biggest pellets I'm using

                    • John from USA asked:

Does this package come with the Hatsan Scope? Every video it states it came with the scope but don't see it here...

                      • Tyler from USA:

This does not come with a scope, If you click the "bundle and Save" link, there are packages available that you can get to include a scope and mounts.

                    • James from USA asked:

                      What case would I need

                    • Jonathan from USA asked:

Can I leave pressure in tank? If so how much psi?

                      • Tyler from USA:

Yes, you should leave pressure in the tank. If you're storing the gun for long periods, I wouldn't recommend full. But maybe 1500-2000 psi. If you're just putting the gun up for a few days, no issues leaving it full

                    • Paul from USA asked:

What do I need to use a scuba tank with my .25 flash and about how many rifle refills will I get out of a full scuba tank? I'm looking for something easier than a hand pump, but more economical than buying carbon fiber.

                      • Tyler from USA:

A scuba tank with a K-valve would require this fitting: Air Venturi Scuba Tank Yoke... Number of fills depends on both the pressure you fill the gun to, and then the pressure you refill the gun at. Most will fill to 2800-2900 psi and refill when the pressure in the gun drops to 1700-1800 psi. So with that in mind, you'd be looking at 15-20 fills off of a scuba tank filled to 3000 psi. If you can get the tank filled a little higher than that (a lot of dive shops will fill to 3300) then you will get yourself a few more fills.

The ETA for this rifle was 5/5, then 4/23 which was verified over the phone. Now it says 5/7, but says 5/5 in other spots across the page. Which is it? I've preordered this rifle and am afraid it will be left on my doorstep while I'm away.

                          • Tyler from USA:

@ Brian, you're assuming that the manufacturer gives a reason for the delay. Most of the time when it comes to "soon to be released" items, any hang ups or delays are never explained.

                          • brian from USA:

It would be nice if they would send the people who've pre-ordered it an email with some explanation as to why the eta date keeps changing. The date has changed at least five times since I've oredered it.

                          • John from USA:

Okay, well just wondering since each day that passes tends to add an extra day unto the in-stock ETA for some reason. It's near Mid-May now. It's very frustrating.

                          • Tyler from USA:

The last update I was told was early May. That said, you still have options if the rifle were to come in and you weren't in town. You should call the PA customer service dept. and ask if they can assist.

The description says it includes quick fill nozzle. Is this the piece that attaches to my compressor, or do they mean the nozzle that's attached to the air tank. This is my first pcp and I want to make sure I have everything in place to shoot it when I get it.

                          • Tyler from USA:

It is a fill probe, just like all of the other Hatsan rifles. It is threaded to 1/8" BSPP. Depending on what compressor you have, you may need a quick disconnect adapter for the end of the fill probe so you can quickly attach it. Like this: Air Venturi Male Quick-Disconnect, 1/8"...

What fitting do I need on my compressor to plug into this rifle?

                          • Tyler from USA:

Depends on the compressor. Either a 1/8" BSPP female threaded end for the fill probe to attach to, or a female QD fitting if you have a QD adapter on your probe

                          • Tyler from USA:

Was getting about 30 FPE out of 16 grain pellets. The magazines will accommodate pellets that are up to about .34" long.

                          • JON from USA:

Hatsan uses their Vortex pellets to test velocity in all of their guns, in .25 it's 19.91 grains. I'm getting a solid 854 and a little over with 24.39 grain pellets, and that is at factory settings. The velocity can be adjusted either down, to increase shot count, or up, to make me happy. I'm looking to get 50 fpe, and still get at least 20 good shots. So far, at the factory 42 fpe, I'm getting 22 - 24 @ 85% of top fpe/velocity with no mods, or adjustment.

                          • Tyler from USA:

Hatsan usually rates their guns with lead so most likely a 19.9 grain H&N FTT

General idea on how many pumps it takes with a hand pump for: A:fill from empty and B: fill to top off point? 3 stage and 4 stage if possible?. Thanks!

                          • Carlton from USA:

Don't know from empty but from 100 bar to 200 bar a very easy 125 pumps with Hill Pump.
