is this hand pump friendly i have MK4 hill pump
Does the Hydra have an Arrow Barrel.?
Where is it made?
Can I put a bipod in this rifle
Yes. Ir would require attaching a swivel stud to the forestock to mount the bipod. GrovTec Wood Screw & Swivel...
What would be involved to fit a regulator so the last shot has the same pressure as the first & why not show what any of these rifle tests will group at in .177 at 10 meters?
At this time there are no regulators available for the Hydra. One would have to be fitted by a custom airgunsmith. It can be done by a competent airgun owner. We do not test group size on any gun.
The only thing stopping me from buying this gun is the lack of a Barrel Band. Any idea if Hatsan will release one?
There is no information from Hatsan that they will add a barrel band.
Hatsan did a real bang-up job in the easy-on-the-eyes design with the Hydra. Caliber swap has to be the best yet. The take away will be for the hand-pumpers due to the smallish fill capacity. Is there a way to dial the power down a bit to possibly get say 10 more shots? Many thanks for this review!
Theres always ways to increase the power in Hatsan rifles specially in the hammer tensión
There is currently no way to alter the power levels. The gun has not been released yet.
That's a lot of barrel to be hanging out there to free-float. Is this going to cause problems longterm?
If the barrel is properly supported it will not be an issue.
Most rifles should have a barrel band. Will there be one available for this rifle? When there is a barrel band available or added on, I will buy one.
Can this be set up for left handed shooters?
The stock is ambidexterous. There is no left hand receiver at this time.
