  • erich from USA asked:

    Could I hand pump this?

    • Mark from USA:

Yes, But it would take a lot of time ,effort and a lot of pumps.

  • steve from USA asked:

Is this gun a good slug shooter,if yes, which ones work best?

    • Mark from USA:

We have not tested the Nova with slugs. They will not fit in the magazine. They will have to be single loaded.

  • mark from Netherlands (Holland) asked:

I'm not sure which cailber to buy for this Hatsan Nova. Mainly foor 100+ yards. What do you think? .22 or .25?

    • Val from USA:

.22 if you can find slugs that shoot well out of it. but at the end of the day - what are you shooting at that distance?

  • Jody from USA asked:

What 30 MM scope rings will work with this rifle?

  • Perry from USA asked:

I have the Nova in .25 cal. I love the gun, my question is can I replace the aluminum bottle with a carbon fiber bottle to eliminate some weight?

    • Stanley from USA:

You could contact Hatsan.com and inquire , some of the new models have them. If there compatible or not?

  • Rick from USA asked:

Will using 25.39 JSB Monster pellet (or simular) shot from .22 net me the the same results (fpe, accuracy, etc) as the same weight 25.39 JSB Exact King shot from a .25 Nova? Goal is to go down range 80+ but it would be nice to stay .22 as I have many .22's and tons of .22 pellets

    • Ramil from USA:

No. The .25 is tuned to use more air on every shot. You will get less velocity and fpe on the .22. I'm sure you can tune the .22 to equals the .25's output but, maybe you'll have to replace the valve or even other mods.

  • Skinnymitch from USA asked:

I just wanted to make note a lot of these questions guys are asking can be answered by watching the video that Tyler does which is below the description of the gun at Pyramyd Air

    • Stanley from USA:

      Ditto Dude!!!!!

  • Gerald from USA asked:

Hatsan has a regulated version of this gun called the super nova, will it be available for the United States? as of now it is not...looks 2 have the lothar walther barrel as well, they have a break barrel also that has a rotery clip like the gamo swarm, i herd it was coming to the U.S. market after they do more modifications, im thinking more power..its a beautiful gun, that wood stock is nice

    • Stanley from USA:

The Supernova RG is weighing in 11 pounds without scope ! Keep lifting those weights . Maybe by the end of the year ? Who knows? The Proxima is an underlever with a rotary magazine at almost 10 pounds without a scope ! Hatsans are always heavy i know i have the Gladius 25 Long. They are tanks for sure .

    • Tyler from USA:

No word on the Super Nova making it to the US yet.

  • Curtis from USA asked:

Does any one have the chronograph numbers for 25.39 jsbs out of this rifle.

    • richard from USA:

      825 LOW 925 HIGH OVER 70 SHOTS

  • Skinnymitch from USA asked:

Can you get a carbon fiber bottle instead of an aluminum one

    • Stanley from USA:

You could email hatsanusa.com and inquire but I'm thinking probably not available ?

  • gary from USA asked:

does it have adjustable power levels ?

    • richard from USA:

In a sense yes. The power adjustment is through the hammer spring pre load. the more pre load the higher the fps the less pre load the lower fps

    • Stanley from USA:

      No .

  • gary from USA asked:

    does it have adjustable power

    • Stanley from USA:

      No .

  • James from USA asked:

How long it takes to fill with a hand pump

    • Stanley from USA:

Just as a comparison my Airforce rifles can take 450 to 500 pumps to fill a 490cc tank to fill from empty and letting the pump cool down between pumping , this has a 500cc tank so it would take a while .

  • tracy from USA asked:

have they fixed the problem of using longer pellets yet, such as polymags. thats my only complaint with my bt65 elite.

    • richard from USA:

yes the poly mags in .25 will fit very close call but that is all i shoot and is the most accurate and a devastating shot

  • Gerald from USA asked:

Does it come regulated ? If not how many consistent shots per fill you get per fill

    • richard from USA:

So i have the .25 version and out of the box i got 815 with 25.39 for maybe 80 shots. Wanted higher fps i did valve work and transfer port work and 27 shot string 250 bar to 150 bar 908fps to 858 fps last 4 shots started to drop then next 27 shots 150 bar to 125 bar 857 to 825

    • richard from USA:

I own one and with poly mags i get 94 solid good accurate shots

    • Stanley from USA:

No a regulator is not available at this time , maybe eventually according to Hatsan . Specs say .177=120 , 22=96 , 25=88 ( optimal shots ) .

    • Skinnymitch from USA:

It says 96 shots per fill in the specifications as far as consistency have no idea

  • Ron from USA asked:

Can a bore sighter be used with this shroud?

    • curtis from USA:

Short answer is no. However the shroud can easily be removed with a 14mm socket and an extension. There are videos on YouTube for the AT-44 (same system) detailing how.

  • nee-kevi from USA asked:

IS A 90 CU.IN. FILL STATION RECOMENDED OVER THE G6 HAND PUMP?

    • curtis from USA:

I use both. I do not have a shop to fill my tank close by so I use the G6 for most of the time. When I am doing a lot of ling range shooting I refill using the tank because it is hard to be accurate after the physical exertion of using the pump.

    • Stanley from USA:

A pump works just as well it just takes longer .

  • nee-kevi from USA asked:

ABOUT HOW MANY PUMPS FROM THE G6 HAND PUMP WOULD BE NEEDE TO TOP PFF FROM LETS 150 BAR?

    • Stanley from USA:

To fill my Airforce Talon from empty takes 450 to 500 pumps from my Hill pump (200 bar ) 3000 psi . So you can figure at least 250 to 300 easy.

  • Ron from USA asked:

This is 250 bar max but you wouldn't fill it that much would you? Would it still be recommended to fill to 200 bar? Can anyone tell me where the optimum shot count lies and where psi falls off and needs to be refilled?

    • DougFLA123 from USA:

Watch Tylers video...he goes over all that.

    • Boris from Russia:

I did adjust the hammer spring setting max to 850 fps, upper won't turn at all. Hammer spring weakened from factory I think.

    • curtis from USA:

In .25 cal w/JSB 25.4 grain from 200 bar to 135 bar I get 45 shots (5 clips) ranging from 850 to 867 fps. I did adjust the hammer spring setting.

    • Stanley from USA:

The Nova can be filled to 250 bar , but filling it to 200 bar will only reduce shot count . When its listed at 120 shots in .177 caliber , thats still a lot of shots. 200 bar would still net you at least 90 i would think ? I have not seen any real world testing on the Nova as of yet ? We will have to wait to see the results .

  • rane air from USA asked:

is this one regulated ? does this nova model have pre-installed regulator ?

    • Stanley from USA:

Hatsan says it is not regulated at this time , but maybe in the future one will be available for it .

  • Roger Pitman from USA asked:

    Is air bottle removable

    • Stanley from USA:

According to Hatsan the bottle ( is not meant to be removed ) doing so could damage the rifle and or void the warranty .

  • Ron from USA asked:

No pcp hookup linked to this gun. Assuming it's the same as similar Hatsan models but want to make certain I'm buying the proper connector

  • Ronald from USA asked:

Where is the fill point? and What is needed that you sell to Fill it?

  • Michael from USA asked:

The loudness is listed as "1", but approximately how many decibels does this airgun measure at?

    • alfonso from USA:

Update on my loudness review. I test fired the Nova.22 Marauder gen 2 in.22 and thr Armada.22 indoors. The Benjamin's sounds more quiet and has lower pitch sound. The Nova has a higher pitch sound due to the higher fps. But when the Nova is taken to an open field, it is quiet.

    • alfonso from USA:

Just received the .22 Nova 5/11/2017. My Marauder Gen 2 .22 cal and Benjamin Armada.22 cal is still way more quiet than my Nova.22 cal

    • Stanley from USA:

I have the QE Long in 22 caliber and it is very quiet rated at "2" ( i have read about 67 decibels ). If you compare the two guns they are very similar in design , the big difference is the the Nova is bottle fed (higher shot count ) and the QE Long is not .

  • Ron from USA asked:

Does this come with a case?

    • Stanley from USA:

      No.

  • Armando from USA asked:

    this rifle is regulated?

    • Stanley from USA:

The Nova is not regulated and Hatsan says theres no current plans to offer it as of now , but it may be offered in the future. Right now they do not make a regulator that fits it .
