  • mark from USA asked:

Would it work for adults? How is its size compared to the Red Ryder? Thanks

    • Mark from USA:

The gun is 34" longt. It would be short ,but can be used by adults. The Red Ryder is just under 36" long.

  • bob from USA asked:

the lil duke in the ad show a gun with a scope mount on the gun, dose that come on the gun?

    • Jed from USA:

Yes, it comes with the rifle and the instructions to install it are quite clear. In addition it works and i installed a small Daisy 4 X 15 scope.

    • Tyler from USA:

Yes, the LASSO scope rail does come with the gun

  • bob from USA asked:

on the lil duke bb gun options you show a metal lever, is it a large loop lever?

    • Tyler from USA:

Yes, the metal lever is still the large style loop

  • mark from USA asked:

Does this come with a collectible, colorful box or is it shipped with a plain brown cardboard box?

    • Jed from USA:

Nice box and helpful, easy to read, manual.

    • Tyler from USA:

It comes in a 4 color box that is pretty neat.

  • Michael from USA asked:

The standard Red Ryder is available in a bundle that includes Smart Shot copper-clad lead BBs. Does this mean the Red Ryder no longer uses a magnet in its action?

    • Tyler from USA:

The Red Ryder still uses a magnet, that kit has been adjusted accordingly.

  • Triggerhappy from USA asked:

Are the smart shot BB's any more accurate than the match grade Avanti's ?

    • Charles from USA:

Well I haven't yet tried Avanti BB's in my Duke yet but I can tell you that Smart Shot don't seem anymore accurate than the three other bb's I've tried, Marksman Premiums, Daisy Precision Max and Daisy Max Speed. However they are nice in that ricochets are minimized considerably and they do seem to tame the powerplant in the Duke compared to the other bb's in terms of fps is a bit more consistent. The bore of the barrel seems large and if you can come up with a larger than average bb I suspect it would do better in the accuracy department.

  • Richard from USA asked:

Is there a wall mount rack available for display ?

    • Tyler from USA:

      Not available from Pyramyd Air

  • Andrew from USA asked:

Is this better quality than the Daisy Red Ryder, or are they about equal?

    • Tyler from USA:

About equal, though it does shoot a bit faster than the Red Ryder. And the fact that it works with the smart shot BBs is a huge plus over the Red Ryder.

  • rane air from USA asked:

hey, what company produces these ? and where are they made ?

    • Tyler from USA:

They are made in China, to Air Venturi's specifications.

    • Stanley from USA:

Air Venturi is what the manual says , cleveland , ohio unknown if there made there ?

  • Richard from USA asked:

what is a smart shot BB ?

  • Richard from USA asked:

I assume the scope mount will accept a 11 mm red dot ?

  • don from USA asked:

how do you load the bb's in to the gun ? Is it like the daisy model 25 pump ?

  • Charles from USA asked:

Forgot to ask, does this bb gun utilize a magnet to hold steel bb's in the breech or spring retaining device so H&N Lead Smart Shot can be used without rolling out the barrel?

    • Val from USA:

No magnet, so Smart Shot Bbs work well in it.

  • Charles from USA asked:

The Lasso scope mount requires a stock screw at the rear of the receiver. The photos do not indicate a screw in this location on this model, is Air Venturi/PA planning on these new BB guns shipping with a screw/hole at this location or will users need to drill their own hole? Also is the cocking lever made of metal or plastic?

    • Tyler from USA:

I should mention, the gun will be compatible with a new version of the Lasso mount, the current one will not work with the Lil Duke, only the Red Ryder. We will update the Lasso mount page as well as this product page when the new Lasso rail is available.

    • Tyler from USA:

There is a screw on the back of production units. No drilling needed. The pictures will be updated shortly. The lever is plastic.

  • Chris from Canada asked:

Is the stock as big as the Red Ryder or is it more like the small size of the Sheridan Cowboy?

    • Tyler from USA:

Similar in size to the red ryder

  • Andy from Canada asked:

Just how "Accurate" are these BB Gun's?,,,,,,,,I've heard that with the "Proper" Shot(BB's), that they're the most accurate BB Guns around,,,,,Is this a True assumption?, Cheers Andy.

    • Triggerhappy from USA:

I have tried different things and sadly, Mine is the least accurate of my Red Rider bb rifle type collection using Daisy accushot. Most accurate is the R.R. then the Model 25, then the Sheridan Cowboy and last the John Wayne. One in 5 shots will hi a large can at 5 yards. So very disappointed. Powerful though, for some reason.

    • Val from USA:

Yes, these can be pretty accurate!

  • Frank from Canada asked:

    how much for the scope

  • Ron from USA asked:

Is this gun available without the John Wayne stuff?

    • Val from USA:

Red Ryder would be the closest.

  • Kerry from USA asked:

Is this made of metal or is it like a Daisy and half plastic ?

    • Jed from USA:

You can upgrade to the metal lever.

    • Val from USA:

Cocking lever is very sturdy plastic. Receiver and barrel are metal.
