If the air bottles cannot be removed is this a disposable rifle? It's my understanding that air bottles should be hydro tested every 5 years for safety. Please correct me if I'm wrong. But. I have rifles in my gun safe more than 75 years old that function perfectly, one is about 110. If I store this air rifle in a safe, unfired, does it expire and need disposal after 5 years. If so, I have a real problem with the price. I own a Gauntlet but the air bottle is removable, and I have spares.
Certainly not disposable. The cylinders used on this gun do not require hydro testing every 5 years like the larger carbon or aluminum tanks do.
Is it worth waiting for this rifle to be released with carbon fibre bottles if the current steel ones are not removable replaceable, since i will have to import from you to the UK ?
Have not heard of a CF bottle version yet.
Are the air cylinders removable?
is it threaded to accept moderators?
Yes it is. There is a threaded end to an air stripper so you can connect a moderator directly to the end of the shroud. The shroud is empty and the gun is pretty loud without a moderator.
Is this rifle FAC?
Yes it is.
What is the twist rate of the Kral .22cal barrels?
