I really like this pistol, but I hear there is a lot of jams? Thanks
We are not aware of a particular jamming issue. The gun has a customer rating of 4 out of 5.
I really like this pistol but I have heard there is a lot of jams? Thanks
We are not aware of that problem. The customer ratings are 4 out of 5.
what is the maximum pellet skirt for smooth shooting this gun can handle( 4.51, 4.52, 4.53) ?
We have only shot these guns with standard RWS 7.0 gr basics or hobbies.
Where is it made?
My mag stopped holding co2.. everytime I put a new one in it just leaks all the way out... help!!!
Had to send it back to sig sauer.. haven't gotten it back yet.. but it was no problem sending it back.. they wanted the whole gun not just the mag that was leaking..
Can you buy extra magazines?
The belt magazine is available on Sig Sauer's website as a two-pack for $19.99. The complete magazine, including CO2 holder is available but currently out of stock. All you really need is the belt magazine.
Can you use pointed pellets and if so which kind?
I have been using pba platinum and winchester 4.32gr
Does anyone know if this will accommodate standard size reflex sight of only with the sig romeo?
is the magazine release reversible for left handers?
When are the 20 round belt spare magazines going to be available?
currently there are no spare magazines or belts for the M17
I have read that only Sig Sauer pellets will feed reliably in this. Is this true?
No, shoots crosman premiers and rws just fine
About how many shots per CO2 caplet will this deliver?
What pellet is best for this pistol
We suggest the RWS Basic waddcutter.
So do anybody know when extra mag will be available for this Sig Sauer M17? I know its a pellet gun but if you push .177 towards the front it will fire and you will get more FPS using bb than pellets i prefer bb than pellets because its less weight using bbs its awesome try it you will love it
I use this Sig Sauer M17 as primary less lethal in my line of career thanks Pyramid air!!!!!!
Is the trigger double action only, or double and single? Is the trigger pill shorter on the second and subsequent shots. Thanks.
I would call it a double action as the trigger also cycles the magazine belt.
What size grip module is this manufactured with? Are alternative grip modules available for this model like the real M17?
The M17 air pistol has NO grip module. It has a one piece molded frame. So the grip size is fixed and cannot be changed.
I believe the firearms come with the medium size module, I would say this is a close representation of that. I have not heard about Sig planning to offer other modules for the ASP line.
Do you know what the ft/lbs of energy would be on this pistol? Would like to get a dueling tree
About 2 FPE
Hi, will this gun accept a slide mounter red-dot sight?
There is no cut out on the top of the slide to accept a red-dot sight. Plus the added weight of a red-dot may cause the blow back slide to malfunction.
Sig announced a red dot that will mount on this specifically at Shot Show 2020. Waiting for it to be released now.
Nothing that is presently available as best I can tell. That may be something Sig is working on for 2019
Where is the M17 P320 ASP Co2 Pellet Pistol manufactured?
Mine says made in Japan?
What Laser under $50 would you recomend for the M17
I like the Defendtek DT-M2 around $35
Will the UTG Red laser (PY-A-2719) fit the M17
Can u send this to California?
where can i get a holster for this gun???
I bought the black hawk holster for the actual P320 at Cabela's and the m17 and P320 fit wonderfully
There are a few companies that are making holsters for the gun. You should be able to find a few options on SIG Sauers website
When will the spare mags for this pistol available?
The magazines are currently available on the Sig Sauer website just look under air pistols
I have not heard an ETA from Sig on the mags yet
Will I be able to buy extra magazines AND 20 round mags.
The entire magazine assembly is also currently available on the Sig Sauer website I just ordered two extra clips in one extra magazine last week
The 20 round belt insert mags look to be the same as the 320 mags. But the entire magazine assembly doesn't currently have an ETA
Does this use the same mags as the regular version P320? Product code SIG-AMPC-177-20 [SIG Sauer P320 CO2 Pistol...] I think....
No, the 320 mags look to be longer than the internal mag for the M17. So it looks like it will not fit properly into the M17 mag housing.
the 20 rd mag and [email protected] are together ,how do you reload the mag with out losing your CO2 or do you only get 20 shots to a cart? It looks like if you remove the unit to reload the mag your disengaging the CO2
The CO2 is held captive within the magazine. So when you drop the magazine, pressure is not lost. Once you pierce it in the mag, it seals against the valve seal and will hold while you remove it to load the magazine. The 20 round mag portion pops out of the larger magazine body so you can load it.
20 rd mag in the same part as the CO2 cart.? How do you reload the mag with out losing [email protected]
The CO2 is held sealed within the larger magazine. The 20 rd pellet belt is held in a separate part of the mag. When you drop the mag out, the CO2 remains sealed in the mag and you can remove and reload the belt.
It looks like the CO2 comes out to load ammo, Does the magazine shut off the air?
Yes, the CO2 will not leak out when you remove the magazine from the pistol to reload
Please say what the trigger pull is in lbs. Please say how much time it takes to fire 10 pellets in rapid fire mode.
The trigger pull is about 6lbs, and it could rapid-fire 10rds in about 2 seconds.
Does this gun have a rifled barrel or will it just be a smoothbore?
Will this be available in black?
Don't believe so. The real steel M17 was only available in FDE, so I'd imagine the airgun version will keep that trend.
Do you have any more information - instructions or a video - about the field strip feature? Thank you.
Considering the gun isn't actually out yet, no
How do you load the pellets & c02 in this magazine?
The pellets load the same as any of the other Sig belt magazine pistols. Take a look at the P320 pellet pistol for reference. The CO2 loading is done with a cam lever system that pierces the cartridge when you close it.
