  • Phillip from USA asked:

I just bought this .45 caliber air rifle yesterday and it takes two hands to cock it with the shoulder stock sitting on the ground. I've had two other people try to cock it and it is ridiculously hard to cock. What am I doing wrong or is there a way to take some of the tension off the cocking spring? This is my first big bore air rifle.

    • Mark from USA:

It should not be that hard to cock. Return the gun.

  • Jaymo from USA asked:

Can the twin tube Sam Yang light hunter be converted to this 500cc version, by swapping out the bottom tank and other needed parts? If so, is there a source of parts?

    • Mark from USA:

Not easily. The conversion would involve a lot of time and many different parts.

  • paul from USA asked:

What game can you kill with this air rifle gun

    • Mark from USA:

You can hunt lager animals. Deer ,coyote, etc.

  • stephen from Canada asked:

would the Benjamin traveler be okay to fill this double tube rifle?

    • Mark from USA:

Yes. It will take longer to fill the 500 cc air volume.

  • Jason from USA asked:

    How loud is the recluse

    • Tyler from USA:

About the same loudness as this 909, definitely very loud

  • Trevor from USA asked:

Is the .457 round ball the correct size?ive seen some say it will blow the breech o ring out.The .454 is to small and wont seat in the breech.

    • Tyler from USA:

Typically .454 and .455 are the go to for this rifle

  • DMiller from USA asked:

Hi everyone! I have a question for you all: do any of you think that Air Venturi will be making an air bolt for this gun any time soon? A .45 is really what I would like to get, but being that as of now there is no airbolt for it I would consider going more likely with a .357. What is the chance you guys think Air Venturi will come out with an airbolt for this gun? Thanks

    • Tyler from USA:

Yes, a .45 cal version is in the works

  • kong from Malaysia asked:

can this item delivery to malaysia?

    • Jay from USA asked:

Hi, everyone. I love my light hunter and all the accessories from pyramid air! I highly recommend this rifle. Question, does anyone know the fps. Of the 411 grain bullet shot on full Power from this gun? Thanks in advance.

      • Jay from USA:

        Guessing 566

    • Merlin from USA asked:

Can the screw that holds the forend on be used to mount a bi-pod

      • Vegas052 from USA:

yes you can use that check google image

    • david from USA asked:

will my hatsan pump fill this gun

      • Val from USA:

Yes, as long as it has a quick adapter disconnect, it will. If it does not you can get one here: Air Venturi Foster Female Quick-Disconnect...

      • Vegas052 from USA:

I don't think so is going to be hard to fill a double tube Sam yang 909

    • Merlin from USA asked:

Does any 909 daul tank owners have any major problems with this rifle, really want one,not a lot of info out there on them

      • Vegas052 from USA:

I just bought my Sam Yang and i have not problem at all i left the rifle charge to a 3000 psi all the time and no leaks nothing i don't understand why people is saying they have leaks in the rifle honestly it's a great rifle i love it

      • ted from USA:

In addition to my previous answer, I like it so much that I'm am probably also going to buy the .25 Sumatra rifle also,

      • ted from USA:

I've had mine since Xmas 2015 and love it. Shooting .457 round balls at 50yrds and getting 10 shots within 2" no problem I would recommend it

    • ted from USA asked:

I'm using hornady .457" round balls in mine , which seem to work very well. What I'm wondering is , should I be using a lubricant on these ? I believe they are pure lead not a mix of some sort.

      • Hans from USA:

No bullet not going fast enough

    • Asylum81 from USA asked:

why is this model on clearance at most retailers lately? Is there a newer model coming out, etc? I am going to purchase one but not until I get an answer first.

      • Tyler from USA:

No new model coming that I know of

    • Ian from USA asked:

Will a hill hand pump work with this rifle with out modifications to the hose. If not what parts are needed to make them compatible?

      • Val from USA:

It will work without modifications to the hose. If you get QD version, then you might need a QD adapter. Otherwise, it will just work.

      • Stanley from USA:

        Try # PY-A- 2841 making it a foster fill.

    • jason from USA asked:

Does Sam yang sell this model with left handed stock ?

      • Val from USA:

      • Stanley from USA:

I would say no but you could call Air Venturi at 216-220-1180. You could still shoot it left handed anyway .

    • ted from USA asked:

im not familiar with these sam yang guns, does the fill probe stay in gun during use or is it removed after filling?

      • Val from USA:

        you remove it, after filling

      • Stanley from USA:

An air venturi quick disconnect fill probe can be installed in place of standard one #PY-A-2841 changing it into a foster fill. It makes filling simple.

    • Kevin from USA asked:

What is the tread size at the muzzle? Is it worth trying to quiet this gun down by adding a supressor?

      • Cory from USA:

The thread size is 16x1.5 mm. It can quiet it down but they are less effective with the larger bore size.

    • Michael from USA asked:

How many fills will this get using a 100 cu ft scuba tank at 3300 psi? I am getting varied awnsers and results with calculators. Any real world experience?

      • Greg (PA SALES) from USA:

        I would estimate 9-12 refills

    • Robert from USA asked:

Is the trigger adjustable? 7.5lb trigger pull is insane.

      • Dan the Man from USA:

        No, it's not adjustable.

    • Robert from USA asked:

Which pellet has the best accuracy for this gun?

      • Dan the Man from USA:

        Round balls.

    • paul from USA asked:
