      • syed wahid from Bangladesh asked:

I want to buy this gun !!! So Can I hunt hog with this rifle at .22 ??? And which gr is needed for hog hunting?? Also what about the range????

        • Tyler from USA:

I'd recommend the .25 for hogs. Eun Jin or JSB King heavy pellets. I'd keep my shots under 30-40 yards

      • Robert from USA asked:

Pictures do not show an 11mm dovetail or any other means of mounting a scope. Is the dovetail or rail an extra?

        • Stanley from USA:

Description states 11mm scope ramp .

      • Matthew from USA asked:

How difficult is this to fill with a Benjamin hand pump

        • pcp4me from USA:

Do yourself a favor....get a 88 cu ft 4500 psi tank! Pumping takes forever and wears me out! Bit the bullet and got the tank! You should too!!

        • William from USA:

I have to say it would not be hard to fill, if you fill it (top it Off) from 2000 PSI to 3000 PSI about 100 pumps or so. It will give you a work out. But it can be done. Just dont expect to target shoot all day and keep pumping it up! I can get about 12 good High power shots before having to refill on my .25 cal.a .22 cal would give you approx double the shots if you dont crank the power all the way up!

      • Triggerhappy from USA asked:

The pic shows an adjustable comb/cheek rest Is this a mistake?

        • Stanley from USA:

Looks like the picture has been updated they no longer come with a adjustable comb/cheek rest .

      • james from USA asked:

Can you mount a scope on the carbine. If I can what would be the best scope mounts

        • Stanley from USA:

Yes you can. Its a personal choice but Hawk, UTG, are both good choices. Use high mounts.

      • Robert from USA asked:

The specs say it weighs 6lb in all calibers which sounds wrong. Does the 25 caliber weigh more and if so, how much does it weigh?

        • William from USA:

The answer I gave above is an exact weight using a scale.... forgot to mention that. It is very light and easy to maneuver and carry all day.

        • William from USA:

My Sumatra Carbine .25 with Leapers 3-12X44 AO SWAT Compact Accushot Rifle Scope, EZ-TAP Weighs exactly 8.5 LBS. Without Scope it weighs 7 LBS. This is light compared to other Air Guns.

      • Henry from USA asked:

size of threads for ldc compensator?? thanks.

        • Mike from USA:

The one I had was 10 mm by 1.0 mm The one I had was 10 mm by 1.0 mm

        • William from USA:

          IT IS 10mm x 1 Thread 100% Positive

        • Robert from USA:

I think this is wrong. I think the Sumatra has 10mm x 1 like the career 707

        • Stanley from USA:

          1/2 inch unf.

      • Scott from USA asked:

I have a Benjamin hand pump. Could I use it to fill the Sumatra? If so, what adapters (if any) would I need?

      • Luke from USA asked:

How well does the windage and elevation adjustment work on the iron sights? Can I expect to have all the adjustment I would need to sight it in at say, 40 yards on medium power?

        • Jason from USA:

          yes. very much so.

      • jasper from USA asked:

How fast would my carbine shoot 48 gr cast

        • Robert from USA:

My Career 707 rifle fires 51g cast bullets at over 800fps but cast bullets are not as accurate as pellets in Careers or Sumatras.

      • jasper from USA asked:

Some where someone said they get 890fps with the 43.2gr that's 72fpe could dis be true?

        • Val from USA:

yes, it's a very powerful air rifle

      • jasper from USA asked:

What the fpe with a with a 43.2 pellet. Out the sumatra carbine

        • Dan the Man from USA:

          Around 66.

      • jasper from USA asked:

Could i hunt coyote and hog with 25cal like the 500cc

        • Tyler from USA:

Yes, the .25 cal set on high power would be suitable for coyote. I'd recommend taking head shots only though.

        • Dan the Man from USA:

          Coyotes and smaller hogs, yes.

      • Richard from USA asked:

Brand and/or size of appropriate air compressor for Sumatra 2500

        • Robert from USA:

Anything meant for filling scuba tanks will work. Not a shop compressor. You are better off with an scba tank than a compressor if you live somewhere where you can get one filled though. You want to be able to fill it when you are out.

        • deerflyguy from USA:

I highly suggest that you search the web to see everything that is currently available, that will pump up to 4,500 psi, and then make your decision. Were I you, I would give serious consideration to the Omega Super Charger Air Supply Station, a particularly high quality, attractive, low noise, user friendly, home system, which is probably cheaper than, and certainly no more expensive than, other lower quality systems, and which puts out 22 CF of air per hour, making refill times faster than many other systems. PA doesn't sell this product, but it should!

        • Cory from USA:

I would suggest a ShoeBox Freedom F10 ShoeBox Electric Air... or if you shoot high volume a Nardi Nardi USA Atlantic P Air... or Nardi USA Atlantic G Air....

      • Mike from USA asked:

Where can you buy a moderator for the carbine in .22?

        • Asylum81 from USA:

          wolfairgun

        • Cory from USA:

PyramydAir does not sell any moderators not integral to a specific gun. You may want to do an online search or ask on a airgun forum.
