      • john from USA asked:

Hello Can someone recommend the correct fill hose with connection for the Virtus? I have an older yellow Hill pump that was distributed by BSA. (At least 16 years old) with no quick connect/disconnect. The hose needs to be attached to the pump with a threaded end. I would appreciate the help. Thanks

      • Lucas from Brazil asked:

boa tarde gostaria de saber se tem como liberar mais potencia atraves do regulador de pressao que diz 1100psi.

        • Mark from USA:

No. El regulador y la pistola estn diseados para funcionar a 1100 PSI. Presiones ms altas daarn el arma. No. The regulator and gun are built to operate at 1100 PSI . Higher pressures will damage the gun.

      • Maxime from France asked:

Hello, what is the max joules for this airgun?

        • Maxime from France:

          thanks a lot

        • Mark from USA:

          The maximum is 10.4 Joules

      • Scott from USA asked:

It was 4/29 now 6/22. Is this ever going to be In stock?

        • Mark from USA:

The 6/22 date is the best in stock date we have. The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted many production facilities.

      • Temple from USA asked:

Is this going to be the same as they have done with the umarex hammer, kept pushing in stock date back for over 2 years?

        • Scott from USA:

Yes it will be, but they are saying it is because of material to make the rifle is hard for the manufacturer to obtain. Nothing to do with shipping.

        • Mark from USA:

The Virtus has already been released. The Covid-19 outbreak has delayed the next shipments.

      • Ignacio from Spain asked:

Hello, do you know why is the symbol of an F inscribed in a pentagon? According to German norm, it is to indicate that it is free sale in Germany for having less than 7.5 joules. This is not fulfilled by Virtus, its power is much higher.

        • Mark from USA:

The Versions sent to Germany will be set to 7.5 joules. They require the F Hex on the receiver. Higher power versions have it,. It is easier to mark every receiver.

      • Howard from USA asked:

Can an aftermarket moderator be fitted?

        • Burton from USA:

Yes, the thread is 1/2-28 with the flash hider removed. I'm using a 1/2-28 female to 1/2-20 male adapter and using a Donnyfl Tatsu moderator.

        • Mark from USA:

The "flash hider " is removeable. So yes,a moderator can be threaded on.

      • Roy from USA asked:

One of the customer reviews images shows a custom added stock that covers the tank. Anyone knows what kind of stock that is? Looks like an AR-15/M4 stock but not milspec, something thick/wide enough to house the tank inside. I Definitely would buy.

        • Nelson from USA:

MTEC ARC-15 - Universal Air Stock

        • Burton from USA:

Looks like the "FIRST STRIKE 13CI FLOATING AIR STOCK"

What is the stock number for the spare tanks?

      • Billy from USA asked:

        Can it kill a coyote?

        • Mark from USA:

No. It is nowhere near powerful enough.

      • Billy from USA asked:

        Can this kill a coyote?

        • Mark from USA:

No. It is barely a rodent killer. It shoots light waddcutters.

      • Gerald from USA asked:

        12 fpe , that's it ? smdh

        • Mark from USA:

          Yes.

      • Joe from USA asked:

How long can a full tank stay connected to the rifle or do you have to disconnect after every use.

        • Mark from USA:

Always leave 800-1000 psi in a pcp airgun.

      • DAVID from USA asked:

Are extra air tanks available for this air rifle?

        • Scott from USA:

      • Matthew from USA asked:

Is it actually semi auto, or is it double action? I

        • John from USA:

No, Reading BB's blog he just came out and said it's not actual semi auto, but the trigger is so good it seemed almost the same.

        • Mark from USA:

          The MCX Virtus is semi-auto.

      • Chaz from USA asked:

The mock flash suppressor twists off exposing threads. Can anyone tell me the thread specs or how best to determine them?

        • Scott from USA asked:

Can you put a higher pressure regular on this? Say maybe 1200 to 1600 output?

          • Mark from USA:

            No.

        • Burton from USA asked:

Does the magazine come with more than one pellet belt like the MCX/MPX models?

          • Richard from USA:

You get one belt and one magazine. If you buy an extra mag you get 3 belts with it.

          • justin from USA:

i recently bought the MCX, it only came with one pellet belt and one magazine

          • Randall from USA:

No. Single belt in single magazine.

        • SHAWN from USA asked:

Saw the video with Sig Rep. Sig rep indicated these are shipping with a pump, however, asked below and answer was no. Please advise. Can one fill the tank with adapter from a scuba tank? What is cost of hose adapter?

        • kenneth from USA asked:

Has there been an update on the shipment at all?

          • Mark from USA:

At this time. This is the best info we have: Estimated in-stock date 02-10-20

        • Josiah from USA asked:

          Is it made in China?

          • JoeCow from USA:

China made, US. assembled hu? Did this change? mine says made in Japan which imo is a lot better.

          • Mark from USA:

Parts are made in China, assembled in the US.

        • Joe from USA asked:

Will I be able to use 90 gram co2 with adapter with this rifle.

          • Mark from USA:

No . This is a PCP (compressed air) gun.

        • Luis from USA asked:

dose this rifle comes with the PCP pump.

          • Mark from USA:

            No. A pump is separate.

        • kenneth from USA asked:

The date keeps getting pushed further away? When will I get my preordered rifle before the end of February?

          • Chaz from USA:

At Shot Show, Sig said they have shipped as of 1.21.20.

          • Mark from USA:

We do not have a firm in stock date for the ASP MCX at this time.

        • kenneth from USA asked:

I get tanks filled and sometime use the hand pump to fill my pcp, Question is what will I need to be able to use the Benjamin hand pump to fill the tank on this rifle?

          • Steve from USA:

The fill connection on the tank is a standard PCP quick disconnect - super easy to fill.

          • Mark from USA:

The Benjamin hand pump will hook right to the air tank.

        • Chaz from USA asked:

Will separate magazines be available for purchase?

          • Richard from USA:

Extra Mags available now and each extra mag comes with 3 belts

          • Val from USA:

            yes, at some point

        • Bradford from USA asked:

Does the gun come with the hose needed to refill?

          • Mark from USA:

            No

        • Bradford from USA asked:

will a common shop compressor fill a PCP air tank with the correct fittings?

          • Mark from USA:

No. Shop compressors typically on go to 150 PSI. You need 3000 PSI to fill an airgun.

        • Marc from USA asked:

Is the barrel threaded and if so, whats the size?

          • Burton from USA:

1/2-28 Thread! Hopefully i can put a can on it and not have the pellets clip it

          • Steve from USA:

I replaced the flash hider with a standard AR15 hider, looks great and is a standard 1/2-28 thread.

          • Mark from USA:

We have no information at this time.

        • rob from USA asked:

will there be any restrictions on the ammo size or type?

          • Steve from USA:

Mine is shooting pretty well with JSB Jumbo Diabolo 15.89

          • Mark from USA:

Yes. We suggest shooting light wadcutters. . 12-15 grains.

        • Ramona from USA asked:

          # of shots per fill

          • Steve from USA:

I am seeing at least 3 or 4 magazines at full power, so well over 100 shots per is a conservative estimate.

          • Mark from USA:

We have not seen an example.

        • michael from USA asked:

How is tank filled? Is one included with the rifle?

          • Steve from USA:

Either a hand pump or air compressor capable of 3000psi with a female quick disconnect will work well to connect to the tank. (you do not need to remove tank from gun to fill it.)

          • Mark from USA:

You need a 3000 psi compressed air source. The gun comes with a tank.
