  • Chad from USA asked:

09/05/2017 So what's the deal on purchasing extra mags for this gun? I searched Pyramid Air for them and I didn't see them listed. I'm not interested in the gun if I have to buy (shoe-less) Win Model 1911 mags.

    • Lee from USA:

Meant to say Sig P226 X-five Open...

    • Lee from USA:

Same problem with the Sig Spartan and Sig P226 X-five. No dedicated replacement mags.

    • Tyler from USA:

Have not seen anything offered from Sig yet. Seems it takes a while from the time they release a gun to the time they put extra mags out.

  • Joe from USA asked:

the cartridge/clip setup looks just like the Winchester 1911, 1911K. will the clips for the Win fit the Max?

    • Lee from USA:

A Winchester Model 11 magazine (PY-A-4932) is identical to the magazine that comes with the gun, except it doesn't have the bottom "shoe". It fits perfectly.

  • Matt from USA asked:

  • joseph. c from USA asked:

Beware the buyer , sig Sauer didn't put two much into this gun, will they make the magazines out metal because the one that comes with the gun is terrible it's made of plastic and it looks like it could brake at any moment

    • joseph. c from USA asked:

      • Val from USA:

    • William from USA asked:

      • Terry from USA asked:

        • Elvira from USA asked:

Can someone make this gun with a full magazine with a case in it for the CO2 please.

          • Anvar from USA asked:

is the magazine a full sized mag with a hollow cast in it to house the c02 cartridge? Or do you put the c02 cartridge into the grips and the magazine is a thin, long mag?

            • Patrick from USA:

No, the magazine is not full sized with hollow cast for the CO2 cartridge. The CO2 is put into the grip and secured with a cam lever. The magazine is a thin long strip that is inserted in front of the CO2 port.

          • Joe from USA asked:

Can this pistol be field strip for cleaning and can I order as per advertised finish color?

            • Patrick from USA:

No, this pistol is not capable of being field-stripped.

          • Vincent from Canada asked:

will it be available for shipping to Canada?

            • Patrick from USA:

At this time we are not able to ship this item Canada.

          • joseph. c from USA asked:

What does cam loading port mean, is the co2 in the magazine or some were else

            • joseph. c from USA:

Hello Michael then what does the magazine look like is it a stick or a rotor type I can't picture it

            • joseph. c from USA:

Thanks for the information I also have the 226 that's a good why to load the co2

            • Michael from USA:

Much like the Sig 226, the backstrap of the gun pulls down exposing the Co2 compartment. You insert the Co2 and as you push the backstrap closed, a cam causes the concave disk the Co2 cartridge sits on to raise, pushing the cartridge into the Co2 port at the top of the compartment and puncturing it. It's really quite slick. I have the 226 and love how it works. No flimsy plastic tabs to twist, No allen keys to lose, and I can reload extra magazines without having to also use additional Co2 - as with magazines with built in Co2.
