  • Tom from USA asked:

The trigger pull is awful. Is there a fix or mod to greatly reduce the amount of pull on the trigger? Also, what is dieseling?

      • William from USA asked:

Any tips on breaking the Barrell for the first time?

        • Tyler from USA:

My recommendation is to give it a good slap. That should break it free then you can pull it down

      • ADEN from USA asked:

What does the maintenance require, do you have to grease or oil the gun

        • Chevota from USA:

I lube everything that moves with grease or motor oil depending on which part, but Tyler is correct that you can get away with very little lube, possibly none. Up to you but I like it when cocking and it feels and sounds as smooth as butter....

        • Tyler from USA:

Typical break barrel maintenance requires some lubrication with spring cylinder oil every few thousand rounds. Aside from that, not much other than cleaning the barrel.

      • Roy from USA asked:

Were do j find replacement parts I'm looking so I know where they are before I need them but doesn't seem to be nothing on the internet about itcan you help me

        • Chevota from USA:

It depends on the part but it looks like a chinese B18 to me, and Crosman sells B18 parts for cheap... http://tinyurl.com/Crosman-Parts and plug "Optimus" into the search, click the first model shown, then download the parts diagram.

        • AMORNPAN from USA asked:

          1400 f/sec ,sure ?

          • Chevota from USA:

Not a chance unless dieseling, which is like dumping nitrous into a Prius until it does 10's. Expect a more reaslistic 900 to as high a 1000fps with typical weight pellets. Maybe someone will post real #'s but I doubt anyone who can afford a Crony would buy this gun

          • Ben from USA:

yes, had to take this to the gun range because its also quite loud, but it is very powerful
