Can the compensator be removed ?
Via two set screws, yes
is the cocking lever adjustable for right and left hand sides of the reciver.? can it be switched from right to left side by the owner or the factory?
Yes it can be switched, not the easiest thing in the world to do, but it can be done
Is there a folding stock available or in works?
Not that I have seen or heard
Two questions: 1) Is the suppressor easily removable? 2) Could this be easily de-tuned; adjusted to a lower power level - maybe somewhere around 12 ft/lbs -- in order to increase the shot count?
Comes off with two allen screws (one on top, one on bottom). Yes, can be detuned via hammer spring adjustment, just remove the stock/grip.
Does the HW44 USA Model with suppressor come with a manufacturers box? whats included in the box? thanks
No, it ships in a soft case. Manuals, fittings and magazines are included
Can the cocking action be changed from right to left?
THIS IS A FAC VERSION. IS THERE AN EXTRA-FACT MODEL?
No, no such thing.
Is there a provision to add a shoulder stock like the Marauder pistol?
Not at this time.
Seems pricey to me for the performance - basically a 3-pack of Marauder pistols with better overall performance and inexpensive 3rd party suppressors? I don't get offering a product like this in the U.S.
You don't have to "get" it, it's a niche product but definitely one that those looking for a lightweight, high end PCP pistol will appreciate. It doesn't have to be in everyone's wheelhouse, but clearly it has appealed to some as the first shipment is already sold out in both calibers.
Will the HW44 meet the specifications for Pistol Field Target?....with the suppressor/without?
With the suppressor it is about 1/2" too long to comply with the 15" rule. Removed, it would be fine. The velocity out of the box is a bit high with most pellets, so a little hammer spring adjustment is needed. Grip/stock needs to be removed via one screw and a pin to access the adjustment screw.
Why did they make it with the non-removable suppressor. You might as well get a rifle. It should be removable for compact carry. It looks like it can be removed. I was just about to order one but now it is too long for compact.
When I read carry, I don't typically think people mean hunting Jim. But from a hunting perspective, if it was legal to carry in your area while hunting...have at it.
Tyler -- Why "..in a case"? What if someone wanted to carry this in a holster while hunting? The length w/suppressor would really make that cumbersome. I would like this as a field carry piece, while hunting with an air rifle.
Two set screws to remove. As far as "carry" goes....I would hope you mean for transport in a case.
Max Shots per Fill = 10? Is that correct? What size (cc) is the tube? This gun seems way over priced for 10 shots at 570fps and only 10 shots. Hails bails, my modded Crosman 2240 .22 cal pistol can easily do 540fps and still get 30 shots on a 12 gram cartridge . . . and for a heck of lot less money.
Thanks guys. Yes, now that they have put up the correct specification information I can read that too.
The gun does about 15 shots on the regulator (from 200 BAR to 120 BAR) and is shooting 15.89 grn JSB pellets at 700 fps. About 17 FPE
10 shots is the magazine capacity not the # of shots per fill
What is the weight and demensions of this unit?
Just under 3 lbs, 19" long and about 6.5" tall
Target Pistol Accurate?
@Allen, considerably more power than a 10m target pistol
@ Tyler - "considerably more power" than what for a thousand dollars? Please!
Should be, but with considerably more power.
