Things I liked:

i had a hard time believing that it would fill the gun , but it does though the first few times it was hard , as i figured out how to use it properly its easier . after my scuba tank goes below 3000psi i use the pump to top it off , i have the sam yang 909s , it usually takes only 10 to 15 min to fill by then . I can shoot a box of 50 bullets in no time , so with out a tank filling the gun would wear me out . overall i am happy i bought the pump , and am satisfied with it , as a new airgunner i think it is built well . pyramyd air has been very helpful and very patient as i have many questions that do not come at once !

Things I would have changed:

i would make the base bigger for more stability , and the handles more comfortable , i am very satified with the product .

What others should know:

if you plan on shooting alot , no doubt get a scuba tank and use the pump to top off the gun . if i did not shoot as much as i do i would use only the pump . pyramyd air is a great place to shop , even if its for just information !

    Things I liked:

Was great when it worked, but didn't last a year.

    Things I would have changed:

    I would buy a Hill

    What others should know:

Had this pump about 10 months. Had the internal seal on the third stage go bad: no biggie, just rebuild it, right? Well, after completing a full O-ring rebuild, the pump refuses to push air on the down stroke. It will work at times, but it is usually one in three strokes. I have taken it apart and reassembled it 6 times now and have checked everything imaginable, but it just will not pump consistently. It now takes four times the effort to pump my rifle and is keeping me from shooting. Save yourself some hassle and buy a Hill. It seems there are a lot less online complaints.

Works as advertised. Little effort by not bad.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

When using this pump be sure to use full throw of the pump.

    Things I liked:

As this is my first jump into PCPs, this pump does work well up to 3600psi for my TEXAN LSS.

    Things I would have changed:

As has been stated in a previous review, the 10-32 screws provided to attach the handle to pump are junk. Either a pre-fit check before shipping or a different supplier is needed.

    What others should know:

VERY good exercise! Pumping more often is better than waiting till it is low.

    Things I would have changed:

Hose too short causing it too bend quite a bit Clip that holds hose/fitting sharp and can cut your leg Screws that hold handle not adequate Poor quality control: glue on handle, lable not straight, screws came out of pressure gauge Put pressure gauge where it can be seen.

    Things I liked:

It worked.....barely. Nice hose, adapter, microfilter, and moisture trap for spare parts. Even the gauge fell apart, one I the screws holding the meter plate fell out.

    Things I would have changed:

Make it last, it was never smooth even when it "worked"

    What others should know:

I bought this as a backup for top offs on my talon-ss-dor (3000#), and my HiPac'ed 2240 (1600#). I barely used it and it was never smooth, and was finicky about when it wanted to work. Then after three years it quit....sent it in to AF for rebuild and added SunOptics moisture trap. Three years later.....same. I didn't know what smooth was til I got the AV G6....NO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO A FRIEND.

    Things I liked:

After 6 months it would not pump past 2500psi. It seems to be leaking from the brass screw that is near the hose. Probably a o ring seal ether under the brass screw or inside the pump itself. I have not contacted airforce yet. I will update this review and rating after i see how airforce responds.

    Things I would have changed:

I weigh 200lbs pushing the pump down is not n issue. It would be cool if the pump was adjustable to higher pressure to decrease the number of strokes it takes to get to desired pressure.

    What others should know:

I you use it a lot It is a pretty good core workout.

    Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Things I liked:

This is a very well made hand pump. But it takes a lot of pumps to fill a new tank. And toward the end a significant amount of force. I'm an older guy and at 1300 psi it bothered an old shoulder injury, and I could not continue. I had to send it back for credit against the 'Shoe Box' compressor. (An expensive upgrade.)

    Things I would have changed:

3000 psi compressors do not grow on trees. The Shoe Box is a well made but expensive alternative. I waited two years before buying a pre-charged air gun for this reason. I would prefer a smaller/slower and less expensive compressor.

    What others should know:

I love the AirForce condor air gun. But the 'cost' of 3000 psi air is a big issue.

    Things I liked:

It does the job....a lot easier than I thought it would be. So much so, my scuba tank remains unused.

    Things I would have changed:

Perhaps a larger foot plate to better fit this hoof of mine.

    What others should know:

35 pumps or less to fill a Crosman 1701P air pistol from 1700 psi to 3000 psi. 125 pumps or so to fill an AirForce Talon SS tank from 1700 psi to 3000 psi. This one I pump up in 2 or 3 sessions. I put most of my weight on one leg and I bend that leg at the bottom of the stroke, allowing the weight of my carcass to finish the stroke. Once you get used to this little dance, filling becomes nearly a non-event.

    Things I liked:

    rugged, very well built....

    Things I would have changed:

better floor stand, needs to be larger.

    What others should know:

As stated in another review, 0 to 2000 is several hundred pumps,, 2-3K is not as bad and maintaining your pressure in that range is not too labor intensive. However it requires a lot of upper body strength in the 2 to 3 K range. Also when you hook up to top off the pressure on your air tank, it will take upwards of 25 (+) pumps just to bring the line up to pressure before you can actually get air into the tank.

    Things I liked:

Fills my Airforce Escape nicely. If you take your time and don't get carried away pumping its not bad at all.

    Things I would have changed:

Lower the price a bit other than that it does its job fine

Does what it is supposed to do. get when if field with no electric for compressor

    Things I would have changed:

Add an O-ring rebuild kit when a rebuild becomes necessary.

    What others should know:

Adds about 10 psi per stroke. That's a lot of strokes to get 2900 psi on an empty tank.

    Things I liked:

That you do not require more expensive equipment and the portability ...

    Things I would have changed:

    ...

    What others should know:

It takes about 12 to 15 pumps for every 100 PSi, for 3,000 PSi i have pump it about 450 times for a 490cc air tank, it is a workout but it is not so difficult for the average person. It takes some time to fill the 490cc tank of my Airforce Condor and half less for my Airforce Escape with a much shorter air tank ...

    Things I liked:

Easy and affordable! I usually shoot pcp air rifle down 1000psi and hand pump it back it in no time. I love the ease on using it with the spin-lock canisters.

    Things I would have changed:

Gauge calibration between hand pump and spin-lock differ. Be nice if they were spot on since spin-lock gauge is not visible during pumping. Roughly 200-250psi off.

    What others should know:

Filling a canister from complete empty will take some time. Be ready to pump. Once you reach 1800-2000psi it does go a bit quicker and more difficult to pump. My 14 yr old son cannot pump after 1500psi. Just a heads up. DOn't be in a hurry.

    Things I liked:

    'Looks good.

    Things I would have changed:

It took 200 pumps to raise a Condor from 2000psi to 3000psi.

    What others should know:

If you weigh less than 170lbs., 3000psi is a real chore...you may not be able to do it.

  • Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Solid pump, well made and finished.

    Things I would have changed:

Hose is very short. Foot plate could really use larger, longer screws to hold it on. The included ones tend to want to loosen up after a few minutes of pumping. Wish it had a moisture trap, but the price difference between this and the Hill pump will buy an ad-on trap and a longer hose.

    What others should know:

Hand filling PCPs isn't really that bad, just know that you need to weigh at least 150lbs to get this pump to fill 3000psi. On my Sumatra 2500 500cc going from 2100psi to 3000psi takes about a 110 +/- strokes. Maybe three to five minutes of work and it's a heck of a lot cheaper than other solutions.
