Air Venturi Moly Metal-to-Metal Paste Reviews

Product works well and last very long time

This Metal-to-Metal paste worked well on my Beeman Silver Kodiak X2 Sportsman Series RS2 springer. I used very little as it appeared that there was still a good bit on the mainspring and spring chamber from the factory. Only the pivot points and cocking lever linkages needed very little paste which smoothed everything out. This 1 oz. jar is going to last a long time.

I used a small fine paint brush to apply the paste to the mainspring which will transfer from the mainspring into the spring chamber also. The little paint brush also made it easy to apply the paste to the pivot points and cocking lever linkages.

I have used moly graphite grease in auto motive use, I suggest wearing gloves, feel of the paste is very smooth not tacky as grease is. Easy removal from hands with warm soapy water, however that being said its easily transfers from hands to other surfaces, I cut the end off a Q-tip to apply to bolts on my rifles, moved the bolt back and fourth a few times, bought to reduce the friction of bolt cycling it works very smooth and and doesnt bind after applying, it doesnt take much, cliche" a little goes along way. used the plastic end of qtip to smear on bolt... using finger was just to much paste that why the qtip. would recommend product and will buy more when i can.

Just a small amount is all you need!!!! OH and by the way,,,,, it will get on everything, usually staining it. Be careful with the MOLY because it is toxic. I used rubber gloves and a Q-tip to apply. When done wash everywhere it got to on your person. It will not come out of clothing material.

Keeping your rifles maintained with the right lube will give many years of service from your rifles.

Only use a very small amount on your mainspring and wear gloves as it is toxic and gets everywhere. I used a small brush to apply to mainspring.

I had to tear down a benjamin trail np2 because the piston seal blew a hole. This stuff is great I heard of people using moly grease from Wal-Mart. That is not the correct stuff. It's maybe 5 percent moly and will cause detonation. Just a little bit goes a long long way. I put some on the buttons the seal and trigger and this little container you can probably do 20 guns. Well worth it

Nothing wear nitrile gloves as moly is toxic. I also keep mine in the little bag it came In.

Use a small amount. It goes a long long way. Where gloves and know this stuff will stain everything if your not careful. Also use on your trigger only if you have experience. The Trigger might have to be adjusted to maintain it's saftey. The bb pelletier has a good blog post about it

As many others have said, use this stuff sparingly! It doesn't take much to do the job, which is why it's sold in such small quantities.

This stuff works really well and I little goes along way. I had to chuckle reading other reviews comparing to permatex anti-seize because that was my first thought.
