THINK TO ASK IF EXTRA SHELLS WERE AVAILABLE FIRST BEFORE I ORDERED THE RIFLE. I MIGHT HAVE MISSED OUT THOUGH ON GETTING THEM FOR A LONGER TIME!

IF YOU GO OUT TO SHOOT LAY AN OLD BED SHEET OUT ON THE GROUND SO YOU WON'T LOSE YOUR SHEELS!

These things really take a beating from my Legens Cowboy Lever Action CO2 BB Air rifle. From loading them over and over again to ejecting them onto my concrete driveway they perform without a hitch. They are very easy to load the BBs into, just take a magnetic parts holder with a few BBs in the bottom and push the shell down onto the BB.

Sell them in a 10 pack for the Legens Cowboy Lever Action rifle.

Like I said these things can take a beating. Buy a bunch of these to keep loaded so that you only have to reload them after a day of shooting.

They are really a period thing, I buy these as extras for BB guns that use these. They are good quality and stand up to being banged around.

It really is important to lubricate the BB's and/or the shells. The slight variations in the BB's can cause some to roll out of the shells if nor lubed.

The cartridges are pretty ingenious. They physically are about the same size and weight as a .32/20 Winchester (old West Cartridge), they look like the real deal and handle the same. They are so easy to load placing the BB in the back of the cartridge (where a primer would be in a real center fire cartridge). I have had two Umarex Colt Single Action Army - Peacemakers for a while and use this same cartridge (these Colt SAA guns are almost the exact size and weight as a real Colt SAA and function the same way). It's a great system.

If you like the Old West firearms, the Umarex/Legends series of Colt Single Action pistols and the new Winchester 94 lever gun are fun to shoot. They look and function exactly as their real firearm namesakes. I have a number of the real Colts and Winchesters and sitting side by side, you can't tell which is the real deal and which is the reproduction BB/Pellet air guns.
