Things I liked:

Not much at present.

Things I would have changed:

I could not screw the handle into the bolt because of poor thread cutting. This was not a cross-thread event. The two pieces would NOT mate. No response from Pyramyd. Disappointed.

    Things I liked:

Great product Adds Mutch better accuracy to an already accurate pistol_ rifle. easy to install

    Things I would have changed:

pay a little more attention to manufacturing as the transfer port didn't line up & had to file off about 1/32 nd of an inch to get it to fit. the barrel was purchased from CROSSMAN directly so there not to blame.

    What others should know:

I rolled the barrel with my left hand on my lap while holding a mill file with my right 3 or 4 minutes later it fit nicely. same thing with the loading area inside the barrel; cone shaped Dremel bit works nicely. despite this its still a good product more solid than others I've tried.

    Things I liked:

everything fits many different air guns finish matched every Crosman air gun I've put them on.

    Things I would have changed:

pay a little mor attention to manufacturing tolerances. I had to file 1.6 mm of a Crosman barrel before the transfer port would line up and the bolt would close.

    What others should know:

converted a Crosman 362 into a 177 Cal rifle with this one & it upped the velocity to 977 fps with a 7 gr wadcutter just what I wanted. now I'll go to the 10.5 s for accuracy. should bring the fps down to the 800s perfect for some target work (found a 3x9x40 hammers online why doesn't PA sell them their awesome possum scopes

    Things I liked:

will fit on my Crosman 362 perfectly.

    Things I would have changed:

include breach screw washers so the pellet wont catch & mangle the head of the pellet

    What others should know:

I'm transforming a 362 into a 177 Cal hoping for awesome speed increase. bought a 177 Cal barrel from Crossman put a washer behind the hammer spring & pump it up 15 times yea it will work without saving any air. (lets call this one a 367 ? rats i should have patented that. next epoxy that transfer port bushing in place you're losing a lot of air right there PS I always file out those transfer ports for max power

    Things I liked:

Great product works like it should. finish matches up nicely with gun finish.

    Things I would have changed:

should come with breach screw washers as standard items. pellets will catch sometimes in that area.

    What others should know:

Dennis at baker air sent me breach screw washers free as I buy lots of stuff from him. If the bolt handle is loose turn bolt probe 180 degrees & reinstall handle that will more than likely fix it.these also fit the Crossman 362 pump rifles same platform as the 1322 1377 pistols

    Things I liked:

It was pretty simple to install and it really changed the character of the gun. Everything feels much tighter and more solid now. Accuracy seems to have improved as well although that could be because of the dovetail sight that this breech can accept.

    Things I would have changed:

The bolt handle needed a little filing to properly fit. Not a big deal.

    What others should know:

    It does add noticable weight

    Things I liked:

This is far more secure than the plastic breech.

    Things I would have changed:

The breech screw - the head of the small breech screw sits in a large counter bore that pellets fall in. This makes them harder to get into the chamber without damaging. (This has not been a problem for me on the .22 version).

    Things I liked:

The steel breech is more rigid than the plastic one, and has more support surface for the barrel.

    Things I would have changed:

The undercut on the breech is contoured 2240/1740 tube. The 1377/1322 tube is slightly smaller in diameter. It still tightens down, but the tolerance is kind of sloppy. I wish they would make one specifically for the 1377/1322

    What others should know:

The O-Ring on the bolt probe seems to ship dry. Oil it as detailed in the airgun's owners manual to prolong the life of the seal.

    Things I liked:

Steel, nice weight and good finish. Secures very nicely and was easy to install after some fiddling even without looking at instructions(do still look at instructions there's no reason not to).

    Things I would have changed:

Blue loctite on the bolt handle threads but you can do it yourself quite easy and loctite is always good to have around anyways, it'll just come loose after working the action a few times(or maybe I'm just rough).

    What others should know:

This with the stock makes for a very accurate little plinker.

    Things I liked:

The option for a scope or red dot sight. Easy to install. You can also add an adjustable open rear sight.

    Things I would have changed:

The addition of sights with the rail. Better screw placement.

    What others should know:

Overall very pleased with the whole set up. I will be adding another one to my next one.

    Things I liked:

Steel is way better than plastic. Holds the barrel much better

    Things I would have changed:

That dang screw that sits to low that causes pellets to get jammed or go wonky when loading them. I know there are aftermarket solutions, but crossman should really fix this (Maybe they have, but just want to sell out all there old steel breaches?)

    What others should know:

It's heavier than the plastic, but I personally think that is a good thing.

    Everything.

    Things I would have changed:

I would make this the factory installed breech and never, ever subject another customer to the worthless plastic breech that is the current standard.

    What others should know:

    It is worth the upgrade.

  • Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

Great product, but I do it consider this an upgrade it's more of a retro part in order to utilize optics. The plastic breech is good and has no problems loading pellets. But with the steel breech a washer must be used to raise the breech screw in order to eliminate the pellets from jamming. The paper washer is the way I fixed the pellet jamming problem. Also the paper washer cost nothing, just take your time and cut some hard paper and problem solved.

    Things I would have changed:

I would add some paper washers in the breech kit.

    What others should know:

Pellet jam occurs with this retro/upgrade.

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

This gives you the ability to mount optics on your 1377. It improves and already accurate pistol. I think it makes pumping the gun easier as it stiffens the overall barrel breech connection. The pistol feels a lot more robust.

    Things I would have changed:

The biggest issue with this kit is that breech screw hole. The pellet will hang up and requires a lot of work to load properly. Crosman has know about this issue forever and just cannot seem to figure out how to include a simple nylon washer/spacers (like 3 cents guys- come on!) I was frustrated that they cannot include a slightly longer rear mount screw so the original sight can be utilized. (ok another 3 cents- but I would have GLADLY paid an extra quarter for those parts!) The barrel grub screw is WAY too long for the 1377 application and my dovetail to Weaver adapter had to be mounted in a way to accommodate the grub screw sticking up (I am going to find a shorter one in my screw collection and replace it. Crosman put lock tight on every screw EXCEPT the bolt handle threads (the one screw that actually NEEDS locktite)

    What others should know:

This takes your 1377 from a cheap beginner pistol, to a serious contender. Yes it is expensive (taking the price of the gun to the $100 dollar range) but it makes a difference in what can be done. Be aware the directions are for the 22xx/23xx series and not really user friendly for the 13xx series. My transfer hort fell out and I had a Heck if a time figuring out which end went up (it only fits properly one way). You cannot reuse the stock sight as the included (and original screw are too short. The barrel band on the new version of the 1377 does not need to be loosened (it can't be loosened) and you need to remove the lower tube hammerspring retaining plug (and the spring will fall out). This is challenging to replace as you need to compress the spring and line up the cap holes AND start the screw! I'm not a beginner when it comes to airguns, but this took me about 45 minutes to complete (from removing the old breech to a completed project.

    Things I liked:

I fits and the steel barrel makes this 1377 pistol manageable. The plastic breech that was on the pistol was not very good at all.

    Things I would have changed:

Chromed breech would have made this perfect.

    What others should know:

Easy install took about 5-10 minutes

    Things I liked:

Has places to mount scope rings.

    Things I would have changed:

Rear sight doesn't match front blade width. Make rear sight viewing notch narrower. Peep sight was better.

    What others should know:

I needed to glue thin pieces of plastic to both sides of front sight blade to make it a closer match with rear sight notch.

  • Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Things I liked:

Adds a dovetail and improves accuracy of an otherwise less than adequate Crosman 1377. The sights and accuracy of the 1377 are terrible out of the box. However, this kit fixes that but also requires you to get another sight because you can't remount the original (although I wouldn't want to anyway) and doesn't come with any rear sight. Now my 1377 is an accurate pellet firing machine.

    Things I would have changed:

I agree with former reviewers about the screw underneath the chamber. I fixed this problem by getting a pellet loader, which helps in other situations as well.

    What others should know:

Crosman should make a model with this already installed. If you're serious about hitting your target, this kit is required for the Crosman 1377.
