excellent product can actually hold my Crosman 362 by the scope turret area with no POA shift.

be a little more precise with the manufacturing as the barrel doesn't always go deep enough to line up the transfer port & transfer bushing.

when assembled if the bolt wont close turn the bolt probe 180 degrees & it should work now? if your barrel doesn't line up right chuck it in a drill and run a file against the opening not everyone has a lath. a couple wraps of tape will protect the barrel.

great product works great for converting to 22 cal

supply o rings for transfer port & spacers for the tiny screw in the loading port the pellet will catch in that area.

if the bolt handle won't stay down with tension remove it & turn bolt probe 180 degrees 9 out of 10 times this will cure it

Huge improvement in holding the barrel solid so shots are consistent. Adds a 11mm dovetail for optics.

Check the order for the tiny set screw. It was missing but a trip to hardware store had the right size. Lucky me.

Put this on Crosman 1322 with shoulder stock. Install was easy. Nice addition that adds to the look and feel of the gun. Allowed mounting of dot scope and together this improved my accuracy and effective shooting range.

The 1322 is a great air gun with poor factory sights. This breach kit solves that issue and really increases the usefulness of this gun.

I added this steel breech when I purchased my 2289 Drifter Kit, it looks great but I cannot compare it to te original breech, I like the design better than the plastic!

Have more rear sight options!

I purchased the a CR LPA Min rear sight, I returned it for refund. The sight adjustment bottomed out. I shoot 2 inches below my target. The sight did not have enough height adjustment.

Availability, seemed well built. Would have loved to give it a higher rating, but I couldn't even install it.

I have the drifter kit model, and the breech set screw was in the wrong placement. Figured with it saying it for the 2289 that I would be good, I guess all 2289s aren't made the same. Be sure to look did your breech screw is back almost hidden under the bolt, or open towards the barrel before you purchase.

Consider a larger transfer port to install at the same time .

feel secure sticking a longer barrel on it, last longer than plastic, and it has a set screw for the barrel keeping it secure.

include the rear sight with purchase of breach

This is a quality machined piece and it's these little Crossman guns perfectly. No more wobbly barrels or sloppy action. Awesome upgrade on my budget build 2289.

If I had to pick on something it would be the quality of the allen wrenches. Do not expect to tighten things up or get them apart properly with this garbage. Go get a nice pair at the hardware store or better yet order a quality set of gunsmithing tools from Pyramid! Also should be $25, Crossman!

Unless you're just doing general plinking with these guns, this should be standard from Crossman in my opinion. It's worth the money if you're on the I consider this almost a mandatory upgrade. Definitely go this way if you want to add an optic. It is way better than using the clamp-on barrel mounts I have used them in the past with great success, but this is by far a step up.

I like the fact that they don't reply to my ignorant email telling me what an a hole I am. It's clearly stated in the part description that I will have to purchase a new rear sight and gives the part #. I should have read it thoroughly and checked the prices before ordering.

The cost of the rear site that replaces the one that's removed to install the upgrade.

Read the description well. The rear site will no longer fit and the replacement that does fit costs $59.99 Part # CR-2300-010[PY-A-4385]. With the shipping I selected it cost me $73.53 to get the rear sight in addition to the cost of the part $44.99 and the cost for installation $25. A total of $143.53

All metal action.. will hold up for years.. better then the plastic one that comes with the gun. Love it so far.
