Things I liked:

This allows you to control the shot curve-much flatter. Turn down for plinking cans close up or up to the max of 150 for hunting. I installed this in my Diana Bandit and will purchase another when i buy the Diana stormrider.

Things I would have changed:

Very difficult to install in the tube. I used silicone lubricant liberally and still required a lot of moxie to seat. I am going to grind the square end of the installation rod into a flat screw tip to change the regulator settings without removing and reinstalling it.

What others should know:

PA tech department said if I installed the regulator, it would void the warranty-BUT for $90 they would install it and the warranty would remain. I almost didn't buy it because of this. I purchased the Bandit from the competition because I did not want to wait until late June for PA to have it in stock.

Things I liked:

Easy to install. Levels out the shot string.

Things I would have changed:

The quality. Its cheaply made.

What others should know:

I order this from pyramid air and my rifle no longer has enough fps to do anything. I tried turning the regulator up to maximum power and still nothing. Looks like I'll be returning this soon. Next time I'm just gonna get an air venturi avenger.... they look so much easier to adjust.

    Things I liked:

ease of installation in my stormrider gen 2

    What others should know:

what you adjust the bar to does not register the same on the bottom pressure gauge. i also installed the fill pressure gauge at the front of the reservoir which gives an accurate figure. a 125 bar setting on the regulator shows 150 bar on the lower gauge. however the 125 bar setting on the regulator gives 15+ rds from the first to the 15th then she starts dropping down below the 25yd zero. the regulator came with a note stating a 130 bar setting tested at the factory. crossman 14.3 gr pellets are what i use and accuracy is excellent with 5 shot strings.i had to change the o-ring on the regulator already so be sure to lube the ring and threads in the reservoir heavily. the hand pump is beating me to death so i'm gonna buy a plug in pump ( it's a 60 pump stroke starting at 140 bar pressure in the reservoir to get to 200 bar but at 78 yrs it's still a gas). this stormrider is sumthin else!! PIGEONS BEWARE LOL

    Things I liked:

    Simple installation

    Things I would have changed:

A way to test before installation. Have it work after installation

    What others should know:

Installed according to instructions and you tube video after setting to 130 bar ad the reg gauge equaled tube pressure not reg set pressure. Tried to Remove cap and readjust. Reg gauge showed much lower than set value. Tried a couple more times before trying to remove. Couldnt remove but was Able to get reg gauge back to tube gauge pressure. Waste of money for this And manometer cap. I am sure this is just my case and most installations go fine. I am just voicing my frustration for not getting what I wanted. A regulated Stormrider.

    Things I liked:

    Ease of installation. Results

    Things I would have changed:

It's a bit pricey. Should be a $50 upgrade, or even come standard.

    What others should know:

Mine was set to minimum when I received it. I set it to 140 bar and getting 25-30 accurate shots per fill in .22 cal. Bandit. It does what it claims to, tighten up groups without having to use "Kentucky Windage" as pressure drops.

They do not set and calibrate the pressure as stated in the description. You need to check and set it yourself.

    What others should know:

A must buy for the Diana Bandit. Prior to installation , had over 100 fps spread with just 2 mags or 14 shots. Set regulator at 125 bar and got 3 mags or 21 shots shooting at over 500 fps with Crosman premier pellets. Extreme spread cut down to less than 10 fps. 1/4 " groups at 50 ft . Great for my indoor practice shooting.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Easy installation. Works very well. After I installed it. The gun shot 559 fps for the high down to 534 fps for the low with a 7.9 Gr. Pellet. That's with a 43 shot string. Way better than without the regulator. The regulator was set to about 135 bar.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

You lose some pellet speed but gain accuracy.

    Things I liked:

I installed this regulator in a .177 Diana Storm Rider, set it to 115 Bar. We get 3 full magazines (21) shots and still on the regulator. My wife shot a 1 hole ten shot group yesterday at 25 yards using Crosman premium hollow points. I am very happy with this regulator. If you own or are planning to purchase a Storm rider, dont forget to include one of these. You will not be disappointed.

    Things I would have changed:

    Things I liked:

I installed the regulator, 1/4 of a turn to 125 bar and the gun leaked air. 1000psi in less then 2 hrs and empty overnight the bandit leaked air before the regulator but nothing real noticeable. I've bought three rifles with no problems, 1 Diana pistol that leaks, and 1 bad Diana regulator. Very informational site, and for now on I'll pay the 20 for 20 pre-sale inspection. I'm going to buy one more rifle and 1 more air tank to be finished with my pcp collection

    Things I would have changed:

    your customer service sucks

    What others should know:

every gun you sell should be checked for problems. Not that a customer needs to get to the shooting range (shooting range by me is 50 minutes away) and discover leaks, jamming, and clipping. then getting it repaired the warrante expires and needs to be returned to manufacturer

was easy to install, WORKS GREAT. it really tightened up my groups on Diana Stormrider Gen 2 .22 cal. Extended the number of usable shots in short well worth the money

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing

    What others should know:

It does eliminate the big blast shots at start but maintains constant power for a lot of rounds when power was falling off by that point before, Love the added accuracy

    Things I would have changed:

Have the dial set properly before shipping. Mine was exactly 180 degrees out. I wasn't sure which way to turn it (C.W./C.C.W. to get it where it was supposed to be. It took two tries to get it right.

    Things I liked:

Performance results (excellent). Easy user installation. Allows tradeoff of Shot Count vs Velocity.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. This is a great regulator and one that is a vital performance addition to the .177 cal Stormrider. This device delivers as promised.

    What others should know:

My Stormrider is a .177 cal. I cannot speak for the .22 cal version or for the Bandit. However, my experience with the .177 cal is that without the regulator I was shooting pellets at velocities of 1021.5 fps with 10.49 gr pellets on average and of 1107.5 with 7.4 grain pellets. The highest velocity I found with 7.4 gr pellets reached into the 1100 fps range (1124.5 fps, actually, at one point). Since the speed of sound is 1125.33 fps, 7.4 and lighter pellets are very close. After installing this regulator, my average velocity dropped to 761.52 fps w/10.49 gr and 832.5 using 7.4 gr pellets with SDs of 6.49 and 6.30 respectively. However, these speeds were maintained through a 19 shot range, which was 50% of the 36 shots (4 magazines) to 100 bar. My pellets were H&N Barracuda Hunter 10.49 and Crossman Premier 7.4 Wadcutters. For the .177 cal Stormrider, I would call this regulator not only a great addition, I would call it a necessity.

    Things I liked:

    Cute idea

    Things I would have changed:

    Performance

    What others should know:

My expectations for this regulator may have been a bit too great. Installed on a .22 Bandit, it may have smoothed things out a bit, but not in an appreciable way. It did convert a 12 ft lb gun into an 8 ft lb gun at settings from 120 Bar to 170, or thereabouts, which showed little difference between them in performance. A re-crown of the Bandit's barrel and a re-shaping of the grip, both FREE, provided far more satisfaction. The barrel band helped as well. My guess (and it's no more than a guess) is that the 50 cc reservoir on this really fun gun is too small for the "regulator" to have much effect. My Bandit's now reg free, a pee bringer, and much happier. Live and learn.

    Things I liked:

Easy installation, accurate, and that sweet Czech quality. Laser engraving looks nice, even if it is hidden inside the pressure tube.

    Things I would have changed:

On opening, I noticed my regulator was set to a pressure setting in 'no man's land'. The red side was not pointing into the area of the setting control with pressure markings. It was, however, setting the pressure to where the non-red side was pointing. In other words, the settings marker was off 180 degrees.

    What others should know:

It works great. I keep mine set to 120 bar and it maintains that pressure accurately. To make the regulator slide easier into the pressure chamber have the gun cocked. That way you aren't fighting the air pressure and it goes right in easily. If while adding air you notice the air is just coming out of the barrel; cock and pull the trigger to reset.
