Things I liked:

The size is great for break barrel airguns. It works well with square or rectangle patches. The soft brass material is easy to work with.

Things I would have changed:

Would be nice for it to have a smoother finish. The edges are cut sharp. I had to hone down the edges with 600grit an 1000grit wet emory to smooth it out.

What others should know:

This works great if you can swab and brush out a barrel from breech to muzzle without the bold interfearing (such as a break barrel). Will be more difficult to work with a barrel that has only a chamber space to work with (such as a PCP Pistol or rifle) unless you remove the barrel. For restrictive barrel/chamber space I use a Jag and circle patches.

Things I liked:

Nothing

Things I would have changed:

Smaller size so it will fit in .177 bore

What others should know:

May work with .20 bore, but I could not even get it started into my .177 with a patch in place. Cutting the patches to a smaller size had no effect. One size does not always fit all.

    Things I liked:

I was happy to find this as I am discovering these cleaning rod tips are getting hard to find, most retail stores are stocking jags in the various sizes but loops like this, not so much. Work perfect on my Dewey rod, but beware, because of the thread size, will not fit on all rods.

    Things I would have changed:

    None

    What others should know:

I thought the thread size was pretty universal on these, but be aware, this type of loop comes in two thread sizes. This one is a 5-40 and fits most higher quality cleaning rods. These tips can also be found in retail stores with a smaller thread size, so know what will fit on your cleaning rod before buying.

    Things I liked:

just the little tool for the job. What else can you say about a loop? Right size, built sturdy and hefty, far better than the plastic ones.

    Things I would have changed:

    Everything seems to be proper.

    What others should know:

Nothing else, just a lifetime purchase unless you loose it.

    The craftsmanship.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not a thing.

    What others should know:

Make sure you have all your maintenance tools purchased to minimise down time later on. This will likely preclude your postponing your gun care. Make sure you keep logs on what you have done for each airgun so no process is left undone! Buy a chronograph! That will not only tell you how fast, it may also indicate possible barrel debris.

    Things I liked:

Very soild, well-made product. Threads in perfectly and does its job.

    Things I would have changed:

For delecate barrels I would use a plastic unit. My steel barrel was fine using this brass jig but it did scrape at times.

    What others should know:

You have to have one of these. Steel barrels this is fine but anything else I would use a plastic jig.

    What others should know:

Just be sure not to cut the patch too big or you will have a hard time getting it through the barrel.

    Things I would have changed:

I needs a longer neck to work for .177 caliber. There is no room for the patch between the loop and the barrel of the gun.

    What others should know:

You have to put the rod with empty loop through the barrel, insert the patch, and then pull the rod and patch back out. It may work better for .22 caliber.

Gets the job done... small and easy to use...

    Things I would have changed:

    ...

    What others should know:

It is extremely small, so be careful were you place it....... I first bought it to use it on my Gamo Whisper VH .177 caliber, but it did not fit inside the barrel, so I ended using it on my Talon SS .22 cailber... But it works just fine!!!
