Things I liked:

This scope has a considerable number of features for the money and is a great value! As a dealer I get all the info! For PCP or Co2 etc. Air Rifles it works great! I wouldn't suggest if for Nitro Piston & Spring guns though, I have personal experience there. 1st.> The 30mm tube offer very good light transmission even with an ARD attached like I use. 2nd.> The 9 Mil Dots each side of center are great for making adjustments for both Holdover & Windage and they are clear and sharp and small enough not to block the view even at distance. 4th.> Proper initial adjustment of the rear eye piece should be done while looking at a clear blue sky to adjust it for a sharp crisp image of the Mil Dots. Then the SWAT with a big Wheel adjustment pressed on it really makes focusing so much easier and more precisely done with the left hand while holding the rifle too! I like the 100mm Big wheel over the 80. 5th.> Leapers includes Medium? padded scope rings with a large diamond shaped tightening nuts which are very nice, hold securely and easy to use. Although they also make quick release rings too. For a Weaver base receiver, Leapers also has a conversion rail to allow the use of Picatinny mounts to be used, which are my choice. 6th.> The locking cross hair Turret wheels are also a very nice feature, just don't over tighten them. The turrets have nice crisp knob adjustments too.

Things I would have changed:

1st.> I like to see the numbers for the power setting ring put on the side of that ring closest to the eye peace for easy viewing by the shooter to determine what power setting is being used especially if power adjustments are made. 2n.> While the built on sunshade is nice in some respects I'd rather see the front of the scope flat and threaded to make it easier to add an ARD an [Anti-Reflection Device a honey comb grid] on too it. This can also be camo-ed so the front lens isn't notieable by game at all. And a screw in a short tube and be able to screw another on to the first if a longer tube is desired.

What others should know:

The EZ-Tap Ritcle illumination with it's 36 colors to choose from is a great feature to contrast with your target, especially in dim light! Once a shade of your choice is chosen and the button is depressed briefly to turn it off, that same shade reappears when turned on again. Shade choice clarified: The 'R' button on the Right, is used to choose whichever of the 6 basic colors you want? The 'G' on the Left is used to chose the shade intensity within whatever shade is choosen with the 'R' button!

Things I liked:

I like the appearance over all. The locking knobs are nice and the entire unit feels solid. Optics are acceptable.

Things I would have changed:

Reticle is a bit heavier than I'd like but doable.

What others should know:

This one is going back. After around 250 shots the scope stopped holding zero. The POI would shift from zero to about four inches left then back again, sometimes stopping in between for a round or two. A back up scope proved it's not the rifle and all mounts, fasteners, and stock screws are good and tight. I took a gamble with this scope because reviews are generally favorable and it seems quality name airgun optics are hard to find. Not willing to give it another chance and will stick with the gut, avoiding the brand in the future until I see nothing but five star ratings. Lot's of them.

This scope allows me to shoot at 10 meters and ranges not yet determined. It even came with rings in the box. Great value and features. I would definitely recommend.

    Things I liked:

A lot of magnification and very clear optics for the price. The full mil-dot reticle is illuminated very brightly with selectable intensity making this scope is ideal for low light small pest control. I was doing a budget rat rifle build (for pest control) and this scope is exactly what I needed. It is a big scope and looks very ominous on my 2289 Crossman!

    Things I would have changed:

For the price vs quality, I don't think there is much more you could ask for!

    What others should know:

For $175 scope, I was surely amazed. It comes with fairly good rings, battery, flip up end caps, and a very good illuminated reticle. I have some other UTG scopes all with glass lenses costing more and this is a very comprable scope at 2/3 the price. I was so impressed I may actually put this on my next big bore rifle build because it is that good!

The external looks, and the clarity of the image..

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing really.

    What others should know:

I used it one or two times, and then suddenly I can not set the scope; the crosshair was not responding to the turrets adjustments. Since it has a good warranty policy I returned it to PA.

This utg 4x16x44 --30mm scope, is on my Hatsan .25 caliber Bullboss. and it works great...Also, I have the utg 2x16x44--Sniper scope 30mm as well, on top of my Hatsan .25 caliber Sniper rifle,.this scope has thinner crosshairs, which I do prefer. At 60 yards, this is one great scope.(both scopes work very well.)

    Things I liked:

The price is by far the best reason to buy UTG Scopes. The Quality of their products is outstanding. Great glass. Darn near indestructible and backed by a lifetime warranty if you do. The mil dot reticle is great for ranging targets.

    Things I would have changed:

For me, a etched reticle instead of the wire. But other than that, nothing.

    What others should know:

UTG scopes hands down the best for airguns. I haven't used them on anything bigger than .25 Cal break barrel nitro piston XL. They hold zero on mine no matter what I put them through. Thousands of rounds downrange, never a issue. This one is mounted on my Marauder that I use for field target. Targets are crisp when you focus on them. The parallax is acceptable for yardage estimate. Granted it's not a Hawke or other top end scope, but definitely the best bang for the buck. Buy the parallax wheel either size, 80 or 100 mm. It makes estimating yardage so much easier.

    Nice and clear...Great reticle.

    Things I would have changed:

Get rid of the illuminated reticle and all the extra stuff and put more into the quality of the scope.

    What others should know:

Did not work on my Gamo swarm magnum 10x gen 2. It's a heavy scope and kept moving back on the scope mounts. Even the scope stop pin was cutting into the rifle base and moving back and forward slightly making it impossible to zero. It might work with a bullseye diana scope mount? It was also very long and the flip up cap interfered with the 10x clip mount when cocking the rifle.

    Things I liked:

Clear glass, true magnification , brighter in low light, ease of use. Side wheel available in 60-80-100mm option. Scope came with mounts and rings of high quality and really nice scope caps-flip up type. Reticule isnt Too thin but thick enough a camera picks it up and it is easy to see on the fly while hunting yet thin enough for precise pellet placement on target at 100 yards. Everything about this scope is top quality. Easily a 300$ scope value. 2 batteries came with the scope for crosshairs Illumination. Smooth side parallax adjustment. No sloppy adjustments anywhere on the scope. No windage or elevation lag while adjusting even after a year of turning and being dropped plus temperature changes dont seem to mess with this scope as much as other brands I have had in the past.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the side wheel part of the package and not extra purchase...say 80mm standard. No real need for all the extra colors but the grandkids like them. Red and green are more than enough.

    What others should know:

Great value but a little temperature sensitive.Really improved the overall accuracy of my guns and better magnification than the 4.5-18 Discovery PCP scope it replaces. 16 power on the UTG is clearer and more powerful than the Discoverys 18 power. Lenses are superb at this price point. Best scopes I have and need to look no further for any other scopes any more for my shooting needs. Really a great scope.

I like the side focus along with the 4-18 power,z zooms in very clear.

    Things I would have changed:

I'm not sure what I would change.

    What others should know:

I purchased this scope on a recommendation of a tech at pyramydair, reviews were good so I purchased it to go on my Umarex .22 Octane Elite which purchased at the sametime I bought the scope, even had pyramydair mount it and sighted in before they shipped it to me. After 500 .22 predator polymags 16 grain pellets the scope no longer holds zero, retried to zero it myself at 20 yards, it was straight on the vertical, but the elevation would barely move, eventually I maxed out the elevation. I don't know what else I can do with this scope setup. Did better with the cheap open sights the gun came with. I spent a lot of money on this rifle scope setup to be disappointed.

    Things I liked:

Mounting was simple on my ASP20 SIG Sauer. The second stage reticle is not a problem for me, but but be aware that it will may obscure areas of the target when changing magnification. It seems to be a well built scope.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like the windage and elevation adjustments to be more crisp and precise.

    What others should know:

The reticle illumination does not work due to defective contacts in the battery compartment.

    Things I liked:

Very clear optics and the mill dot reticle works great. The adjustable objective is nice. I mounted the scope on my RWS-48 and sighted in at 10 yards and then move back to 25 yards and zeroed the scope there. Was able to cover a 5 shot group with a nickle. I did not use the rings that came with it as they were too tall for my application. I've already purchased a 3-9x32 bug buster scope since I bought this one and and now I need a UTG 4-12 AO scope.

    Things I would have changed:

Only drawback I had was it's hard to get a clear sight picture with this scope. You really have ro be lined up properly to use this it, that's why I gave it 4 stars rather than 5.

    What others should know:

The optics in this scope are as clear as those costing twice as much money. With the lifetime guarantee you can't go wrong. If need a scope the UTG scopes are a great buy.
