Things I liked: Solid construction. Well-made leg extension system and locking thumbwheel

Things I would have changed: The panning feature is pretty stiff.

What others should know: I bought this for my 2014 Marauder 25 (wood stock) and used the swivel adapter. The marauder forestock is pretty flat compared to the curve on the adapter plate, which leaves a sizable air gap with no contact to the wood. That results in the entire bipod swiveling a bit instead of the "pan" feature working. Still - very good and stable !

Things I liked: The build quality is on par with all my other UTG products. You can adjust this bipod in couple of ways. You have a locking tab set at predetermined heights using the indents in the legs. Then there is also the option of using the locking screws to set heights in between the preset heights. If you have press the tab with the legs extended there is an internal spring that draws them back into the 8" height rested position. The outer springs ensure the legs stay in place in either the up or down position. The best part about this system is the ability to retain your sling mount and you will never even notice the bipod is attached as you carry on the range or in the field. Given that this particular setup has the Q-D bipod attachment it makes deciding when and how you will use the system a complete breeze.

Things I would have changed: Not a thing it's almost perfect as is. When we can make some minor improvements but those improvements would only add weight and little value.

What others should know: When the mount and bipod are attached there is a little rotational play. This play does not effect the system when in use but you should be aware that this is not a rock solid setup. The alloy used is lightweight for the most part and can feel delicate at first but it's this lightweight design that makes it carry friendly when used in conjunction with your sling. Due to the force in the outer springs you should keep a firm grip on the leg and the rifle when either unfolding or folding the system for carry or use.
