Things I liked:

The accuracy, because accuracy is king. The power, this rifle is extremely powerful, I had to build a large dirt back stop in order to fire this thing comfortably with no worries of where The bullet/pellet could end up. 2 inch groups at 50 yards, shooting off a rest, using either Polymags or JB kings.

Things I would have changed:

Nothing at this time

What others should know:

I have taken some very large groundhogs, and other than targets thats the only thing I shoot. Like I said, this thing is amazingly powerful, and the same care you would use with a firearm you must use with this rifle as well. Mine shoots the most accurately with Polymags or JB Kings. I tried airventuri 95 grain hollowpoints, but they produce flyers often.

    Things I liked:

Using the 357 version, I like the accuracy, i like the fact that i likely have 10-12 kill shots, which most seasons is more shots that i fire all season. I have fired more this season because i needed to target practice. I am shooting wild feral hogs and deer, so far this season i have hunted twice, dropping a wild hog with a head shot, and a spike buck, also with a head shot. Both these shots have been close, 35 yards or so, as the season goes on, i will try to get and take longer shots and will report the results here.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not much.

    What others should know:

I purchased 2 of the .357s , one for me, one for my wife. Unfortunately, my wife took a bad fall and injured her shooting shoulder and hasnt shot since, so that second gun has been fired only twice - me shooting to see that it was sighted in ok. On mine , i had PA do the magic to give mine a bit more power, and i added the suppressor from the Florida gentleman. We live in a neighborhood and the different the suppressor makes, is my wife can here the shot fired from her rifle (no suppressor) , when i shoot mine, which i do quite a bit in the back yard to target practice, she cant hear it at all. When I shot the spike buck, there was a doe with it, the spike dropped, and the doe jumped - seeing the spike go down - but the doe, just looked around, apparently did not hear the shot. I really like these guns - i am tempted to get the 45 except - the description says, it only has 3 shots. At 70 years old, i am not as accurate as I once was, so i like having extra shots.

    Things I liked:

It's fun to shoot. Plenty of power. Solid value for an accurate bigbore. Plenty accurate for my needs. I spent most of my life shooting less accurate airguns. I paid for the added power upgrade, although tPA isn't transparent about what's included in that package. Fingers crossed.

    Things I would have changed:

The fill cover is like a bad prank. Worst engineering job ever. So, the thing you have to access every five shots is a crappy little piece of plastic that doesn't fit well and is like wrestling a bear to take off? What were you guys thinking? How about fix it...ASAP! Idea: aluminum with a tough hinge and solid latch. The ping is a lot louder than it appears on videos I've seen. I have a Hill depinger on the way - to go with the DFL Ronin I have on it now. Looking forward to

    What others should know:

Watch a bunch of videos before you buy a Bulldog. Get familiar with modifications and the combined cost and effort to building a sweet rifle, for the money. The kit PA offers for this Bulldog includes a nice scope.

    Things I liked:

This rifle turned out to be a lot more flexible for shooting a variety of targets and bullets than the advertising indicated. I use pressures of 2200-2500 psi for shooting on a 50 yard range in my backyard. Group size varied from .5 to 2 inches depending upon bullet type and pressure. I altered my magazine with two small notches so round balls could also be shot. 300 grain soft cast 45-70 bullets sized to .457 and lee liquid lubed were shot and compared to round balls at 50 yards. Both shot fine for small game an plinking applications. 10 shots with each type of bullet were taken, with the initial pressure being 2300 psi and the final pressure being about a 1000 psi. The slugs used an average of 120 psi per shot, the round balls used an average of 155 psi per shot. Its odd the slugs used less air, usually its the other way around. The slugs were accurate over the entire 10 shot string - assuming you've learned to compensate for the changing pressure as you shoot. The round balls

    Things I would have changed:

were particularly accurate in the 1800 psi range. It is a much better rifle than the advertising indicates. CONS- The rifle shape can be a little slippery to handle. The fill cover needs to be replaced, it's too hard to use as is. Its shape is unconventional, but a forward mounted pistol scope or folding ar-15 sights work just fine. I really like the fact that it is economical with it's air consumption.

    What others should know:

With a 3000 psi fill, the rifle will be more than adequate for most American game , big and small, at any reasonble range. The gun is little awkward, but it's performance more than makes up for it!

    Things I liked:

This is the Airgun to buy. I have two! One is set up with a Pulsar thermal scope, the other is equipped with a Leupold 3-9x40. The Bulldog is a great 100 yard gun. Perfect for coyotes at that distance. For deer I would limit distance to 75 yards. Wide selection of projectiles are available for 357. Because it operates at 3000 psi, it is hand pump friendly. With a standard hand pump, each shot cost you about 30 pumps. So if you fire all ten shots (magazine holds five) you will need 300 pumps to refill. For comparison, the Airforce Texan requires about 60 pumps per shot to refill. (Again, this is my experience) Mr. Hollowpoint makes the best bullets I have tested. His 140 grain hollowpoint is accurate to 100 yards and has a flat trajectory. It is a little loud, but noise reduction is provided by adding a device from DonnyFL. His Airgun suppression is Hollywood quiet. Without a suppressor, the gun sounds like a high power rifle. Bulldog is a solid platform.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like for the safety to have a little more resistance. Although it has never happened, I could foresee the safety working to the FIRE position if the rifle is handled roughly. Otherwise, I am 100 percent happy with the Bulldog. It is a great gun for a shooter that wants to buy a gun and start shooting. There is no adjustments to the hammer spring, valve, etc. Any tuning you wish to do must be done with ammunition selection of weights and bullet types. Again, Mr. Hollowpoint makes the best I have tried. Great expansion.

    What others should know:

Once loaded, the Bulldog can not be Unloaded. (An Airforce Texan can be) You must discharge the loaded round and then remove the magazine to render the gun SAFE. Even then the action is re armed because the cocking lever has been actuated. I prefer to: open bolt and remove magazine, close bolt (gun is still loaded) fire the loaded round in safe direction. Leave bolt closed. Put gun on SAFE. This leaves the gun unloaded and the hammer spring decocked. Benjamin includes a nice ramrod for unloading, but I find my method safer. Treat this Airgun with the same rules and respect as a high powered rifle. It is lethal to anything you shoot.

    Powerful. Balanced and accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

Something to dampen the spring noise right by the shooters ear.

    What others should know:

The noise of the spring and air entering the barrel is literally right under the shooters ear! VERY VERY loud. Definitely wear ear protection. Especially on the ear closest to the gun. I added the Donny FL emperor and extension, and the noise coming out of the barrel is tamed down a lot, but the noise by your ear most definitely is NOT. Needs to be a warning.

    Things I liked:

Watching things explode when 145 grain nosler red tip hits it and picking up a full mushroomed 95 grains hollow point from air venturi, the Benjamin bulldog makes these things happen.

    Things I would have changed:

    Grip texture

    What others should know:

This is my first big bore airgun and it gets more shots per fill then most .35 cal other than the Seneca recluse but with 5 shot magazine and smooth side lever cocking.

    Things I liked:

Very consistent, if there is a pellet "flier" it is due to me and not the rifle. I have shot hundreds of pellets which include diabolo, predator type and even 142gr cast lead hollow points. It consistently shoots 1-inch groups at 75 yards and could probably tightened if I were a better shooter (my bench is somewhat wobbly). Never had a pellet get stuck, no problems of ANY sort with this, ALWAYS works. Had it pumped up to 200 bar and sat in my closet for 4+ months sometimes and it is still holds air, etc. The gun is also balanced for the type of gun it is, not front heavy like many break-barrel types.

    Things I would have changed:

The picatinny rail is not level, it is at a slight right to left slant and appears to have been molded that way. It is not a deal killer as I was able to get it zeroed fairly easily, but I do which it were more of a "precision" type of rail. The fill port cover is plastic and tore off the first week I had it. Not a bid deal but... Also, the trigger is not horrible and does a reasonable job. However, it is going to be much different if you are used to Weihrauch, Air Arms or heck even m-rods (actually have great triggers in my opinion). Maybe a little smoother action. Overall, most of these things are nit-picking as if I were offered my money back to purchase something else I wouldn't do it as for the cost, power and consistency it is difficult to find something else to buy.

    What others should know:

I have used this for nearly 2 years now and am very pleased overall. The sheer power out of the box is something to behold. Was used to 22 or 25 cal "tink" and this made a "boom" when I shot it. NOT quiet at all and certainly NOT backyard friendly. However, I didn't purchase this gun to plink cans or targets, I got it to hunt deer. OK...if anyone really wants to know how to make this better. I purchased a DonnyFL Emperor/Ronin moderator with the 6" extension and got the bulldog adapter, cost me $360 and took me 2 minutes to install (not kidding). OH MY GOODNESS, what a difference, the pellets make more of a sound hitting the wooding backstop than the gun itself. Holy cow, one can almost stealth hunt with this. Also, I purchased and installed a pitbull depinger and that took the "thwang" out of the tank. This has made me shoot more and more than ever before. Highly encourage anyone to consider this to deer hunt with if legal in your state. It is in KY anyway!

More power than I expected though last pellet shooter was a 10 pump from childhood. Scope is decent and will come in handy along with the included accessories.

    Things I would have changed:

Thought it would be lighter but if it holds up all is well.

Not as loud as an actual 357 Happy with my purchase.

Received well packaged and 3000psi in air tube.

    Things I would have changed:

Only comes with 1 mag. Should ship with 2. Also include picatinny riser rail with it. Would make it easier to mount a scope without having to use hard to find Xtra High scope rings. Also move the side lever forward to a more ergonomic location. With it's current position, it is behind your head when rifle is shouldered. And finally, add baffles to dampen decibels.

    What others should know:

Does NOT give listed velocities. 20 percent below listed muzzle velocity, according to my competition electronic DLX chrony. This airgun is LOUD!!!! As loud as my 4" bbl 357 mag shooting 38 spl +P.
