Things I liked:

There is much I like about this M9A3 beginning with it being another variant of the classic M92. Except for the grips and other minor parts, this M9A3 is all metal. The bicolor finish is excellent and very attractive. The grip back strap is straight which make the pistol a little more comfortable in my hand. The safety is ambidextrous. The M9A3 has the same semi-auto / full auto selector as found on the M92A1. The M9A3 and M92A1 magazines are interchangeable. The blowback is strong, and the slide locks back when the magazine is empty. The M9A3 can be field stripped. Despite the low point of impact using the open sights, the M9A3 shots group well. Shooting Black Diamond BBs from a bench rest at 18 feet to target produced a 1.25" 10 shot group. Total shot counts using either Umarex or Crosman CO2 are about 60 whether shooting slow semi-auto or rapid full auto.

Things I would have changed:

Front and rear sights are fixed and non-adjustable. The rear sight is a separate piece mounted in a dovetail with the mounting screw apparently inside the slide. Although the front sight appears to be mounted in the slide using a hex screw, there is no indication that it is adjustable for windage. The owner's manual does not say anything about either sight being adjustable. The consequence of the fixed sight is that shooting from 18 feet using a 6 o'clock aim on the center spot yields shot groups centered about 2.5 to 3 inches below center and about 1 inch left of center.

What others should know:

To compensate for the low and left point of impact, I attached a LaserMax Spartan Green laser to the M9A3 front rail. Once the laser was sighted in, I was able to use a center aim and hit the point of aim. Shooting from a bench rest at 18 feet to target in single action produced the following shot groups. Umarex Steel: 10 shots: 1.75"; 8 shots: 1.13". Black Diamond: 10 shots: 1.25"; 9 shots: 0.97". Copperhead: 10 shots: 3.06"; 8 shots: 1.44". Daisy Premium: 10 shots: 1.50"; 7 shots: 1.06". Avanti: 10 shots: 1.50"; 8 shots: 1.00". Excite Smart Shot copper plated lead BBs were not a good choice for my M9A3 pistol which produced a 10 shot group of 4.81". Shooting off hand standing using a center aim with the LaserMax laser yielded slightly larger groups that were still well centered on point of aim.

Things I liked:

Feels like the real thing perfect for training, for any LEO or military

Things I would have changed:

Make the rear sights adjustable, shoots low and to the left, make magazines that don't fail. I don't mean a slow leak like gone on 10 seconds.

What others should know:

The magazine failed stuck open after 20 co2's 500 bbs' very disappointed, full auto I believe damages the plastic lower

    Things I liked:

Full size, weight is relatively close.Full auto, That's just fun .It's cheap to shoot and plinking in the backyard keeps it simple.

    Things I would have changed:

It's a Beretta. No change needed.

    What others should know:

It's fun for adults (full auto). It gives the kids a chance to practice gun safety and be comfortable when at the range.

    Things I liked:

Received by FedEx in only 2 days. What I really like is owning this excellent Beretta M9A3 replica. Weight is realistic. Comfortable to shoot. Easy to disassemble. Blowback is not the best but is reasonably solid. I love the color. Love the look. The full-auto feature is fun but the lever action going from semi to full auto is too easy and can be accidentally switched. The magazine is solid but is difficult to load BBs due to the heavy spring. I was able to get 40-42 shots per fill (about 2.5 mags) before power went too low. The pistol made spec, shooting a Max Velocity of 332 fps. Lo velocity was 316 fps on a 10 shot string with an average velocity of 324.5 fps and an SD of 4.6 fps. Variance was 21.45 fps. Accuracy was sort-of OK, shooting a little low and left at 10 feet but needs a laser sight for better performance at 20 feet. Nice weaver rail. Easy trigger pull in Single Action.

    Things I would have changed:

The slide action was a stiff when I received my M9A3. Before actually operating the pistol I removed the slide and coated the moving rails and other visible moving parts with a thin coat of Molly lube and then worked the slide action five or six times to lube the action which improved the slide operation greatly. Operation should improve even more with break-in. The Safety on my particular issue could not be put on Safe fully until the magazine was removed for some reason. No solid snap-in. The magazine is well made (solid build) and CO2 installation is easy. Loading BBs is NOT easy. The plastic spring follower is flush with the magazine and is VERY stiff to pull back and hold. I ended up using a 90 degree angle pick to pull the follower back and tilt it into the holding recess. The port for loading BBs, though, is very nice.

    What others should know:

Accuracy is good but POA/POI do not coincide using iron sights. My criteria for determining BB gun accuracy out of the box is whether or not I can put five shots into a 2" circle from 10 feet away to get a feel for the grouping. I was able to do that with just the iron sights and a little compensation. At 20 feet, however, I had to install a laser to improved the accuracy. 20 feet and beyond POA and POI differ by several inches. Also, I should mention that occasionally on my pistol the slide stuck in the open position on blowback and would not release until I pulled the magazine and played with the slide to release it. This might get better as the pistol is fully broken-in. Overall, I like the pistol but this is not a competition shooter. It is a great replica and is fun to shoot and is a great addition to my M92A1 and M92FS Berettas. But for fun shooting I will be sticking with plinkiing for the M9A3.

The thing is pretty cool, fully automatic. The way the slide opens and catches is awesome

    Things I would have changed:

The color of it. That and maybe extend the barrel somehow so its more accurate. Give it a longer magazine or at least an accessory and make it hold 2 c02 cartridges

    What others should know:

It burns through cartridges. The gun is more for fun and not accurately shooting targets

    Things I liked:

I really like the quality and attention to detail on this pistol. The quality and accuracy of the reproduction is impressive. The feel in the hand is great. The weight is also impressive. I really like the "full" blowback. And let's not forget the full auto mode, that is a blast to shoot. It's my first full auto air gun and I love it. The threaded barrel is cool. I would certainly recommend this pistol to anyone looking for a great reproduction of the M9A3. Pyramid Air had the best price I could find, even cheaper than anyone on Ebay. And to top it off, the shipping was "super fast". 2 days to my door. Very nice.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have liked to have found the all metal version. I couldn't find it anywhere in the tan version. Other than that, I don't know what they could do any better. Maybe make the writing a little less prominent. But that's definitely not a deal breaker.

    What others should know:

If you've been looking and are on the fence, do it. It's a great little gun.

Looks great, color looks realistic unlike some attempts at FDE, full auto guaranteed to bring a smile to your face.

    Things I would have changed:

The slide feels cheap to me. It did not slide back smoothly when racking the gun. In fact the first time I pulled the slide back, it got stuck and would not release. After pushing it back forward and running it through that cycle a few times, it seems to be fixed. WE NEED THE FULL METAL VERSION....PLEASE!

    What others should know:

Who doesn't love a full auto pistol!

    Things I liked:

I like the realism in concept. I have a 9mm M92, (blued), and a .22 cal M9 (blued). I bought this CO2 pistol, as to practice without expelling ammo which is a little hard to get ahold of still, and expensive. Weight and overall feel is comparable, with the weighted magazine installed. So looks and feel are very similar to the actual firearms. I enjoy the full auto capability, though don't use it as often as I suspected I would due to the means of loading being a bit slow.

    Things I would have changed:

There are several changes that I think are vital. The CO2 cartridge inside the magazine is the first issue. With the time spent reloading a magazine, I thought for time sake to purchase a second magazine ... to swap them out. I have a 1911 CO2 pistol, with the CO2 bottle in the handle, which allows a quick magazine change, using the same CO2 cartridge. With the M9 ... a second magazine, means having to have a CO2 cartridge in each magazine, to successfully and hastily swap magazines, (quick reload). If there isn't a change in the location of the CO2 ... a listing in the advertising, making potential customers aware of this issue prior to sale, would be advised. I personally feel, that buying a second magazine, was a waste of my money ... I might mention, that a means of loading the magazine faster would be a great update as well. The process is painstakingly slow. Also, my 1911 CO2 pistol is almost shoots at 470 CFM, this pistol shoots just over 300 CFM ... MORE POWER!

    What others should know:

It is an enjoyable pistol, the weight is very similar to that of the real firearm, and the look is nearly identical as well. That said: Any persons observing you carrying or handling this pistol, will think that it is a firearm and not a CO2 pistol. Firearm rules should be followed, not aiming it at anyone or anything you don't intend to shoot ... and it will be mistaken for a real firearm, so aiming it at anyone with a real firearm, could result in you being shot. Use Caution!
