Things I liked:

The accuracy is great, an inch at 15yards. It copies a ruger Kp345. Good egrinomics slim, small and very manuverable. Powerful, you can feel the muzzle jump when using gamo rocket pellets at 98 degrees. Lasts long, I've had my 2 for 1 year now. Sips Co2, 60 shots to a can. No jams.

Things I would have changed:

The sights are large and meant for combat. The grips are long, but at least they don't come loose like the 357-6. The velocity goes way down in single action.

What others should know:

My 2 1088s have take 1500rnds with no jams. I do clean the filter and the mecanism with a Q-tip every 400rnds. It is much easier to get a quality gunlight for piccatany rails than dovetail. I wish I could have gotten the 357 kit with the 4 and 8inch barrels when it was sold.

Things I liked:

Accuracy

Things I would have changed:

quality

What others should know:

I got this to make the free shipping minimum on my order. It did NOT fire single action. IT misfired. IT jambed. The pellets that came in the kit with it fell through the clip often while loading. Pyramid air is GREAT as they took it back with my word that it malfunctioned even paid shippping. Pyramid air is the best this pistol is junk.

    Things I liked:

Light weight, inexpensive and fairly powerful...I shoot hollow point .177 hunting pellets with no complaints, in fact I really like the design and feel of this gun...I also have a Dan Wesson 4" revolver which is heavy duty high quality airgun but for out having fun in the woods this crosman 1088 is my favourite!

    Things I would have changed:

The grip/handle doesn't close tight after cO2 is installed.

    What others should know:

    Use pellet gun oil

metal pierce for C02 easy to load, pretty good fps when full charged accurate to 10-15ft metal hammer trigger pull not bad in single action double little heavy, for the price and the performance very pleased with the purchase.

    Things I would have changed:

make it out of metal and lease the slide and trigger, the Las Vegas shot show was this week heads up on the new 2015 pistols from Crosman

Excellent for the money, lots of fun

    Things I would have changed:

instructions regarding use of domed pellets and lubrication

    What others should know:

I had issues with pellets jamming, and found out the domed pellets will work without jamming! Recently the gun malfunctioned and wouldn't advance the clip. I solved the issue when i discovered the roller at the base of the assemble was jamming. I used some light weight pell gun oil, which freed it up. Now every time I load up I make sure it is moving freely.

    Things I liked:

    Price, rifled barrel, accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

The mostly plastic construction, the trigger, the feed mechanism.

    What others should know:

This is a decent little CO2 pistol for beginners, but it does have its flaws. It has decent accuracy but really suffers once the pressure starts to drop. I only get around 4 clips worth of pellets out of a CO2 cartridge before the pressure is too low for any decent shots. The trigger is very stiff and my particular pistol doesn't like to shoot in single action. The clip mechanism also misfeeds and jams often on mine. I've purchased new clips to try and remedy the issue but it still does it. Certain pellets and low CO2 make the issue worse. But overall its not bad out of the box and is really cheap for a rifled barrel CO2 pistol. If i did it again though, I'd get the Crosman 357 instead.

Great gun for the money. Co2 lasts a long time. Quite accurate. Can fire all 8 pellets into a 3" plate at 30 feet.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing really

    What others should know:

By adding a laser you can improve accuracy & fun. I use mostly pellets & not BBs because the pellets are more accurate. The magazine is interchangable with Crosman models 1008 & T4

    Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Things I liked:

Very fun and easy to shoot. Inexpensive. Kit is a decent value with the included CO2, pellets and glasses. Reasonably accurate for a short barrel pistol. It's easy to go through a lot of CO2 and pellets with this gun since it's fun to shoot. Accuracy at 10-12 ft is decent. The barrel is just under 4" long so I wouldn't expect any real accuracy beyond 20 feet. I have fired through 3 powerlets so far and have not had a single jam yet. I'm just using regular Crosman pointed pellets, nothing fancy. Nice that it can accept BBs or pellets even though I will only be shooting pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

The lightness of the gun doesn't bother me that much, but I think it would look better if the body of the gun wasn't molded out of a single piece of plastic. For example, if the faux slide were a separate piece of plastic that stuck out the sides a tad more, it might look more realistic even if it was just cosmetic. If I had to do it over, I would probably get the black version since the silver does look somewhat plasticy. I have had no functional problems with the gun at all so far. The only comments I have are aesthetic issues.

    What others should know:

The accessory rail under the gun is a weaver rail, not an 11mm dovetail as the website listing states. The website also states that the gun comes with 2 clips but I only got one. Pyramyd is sending me another one. The trigger pull in single action mode is pretty light so be aware of that. The noise rating is 3, the same as my Nightstalker TK. However, there is a significant blast noise when the 1088 fires whereas the Nightstalker is actually rather quiet. I'd either rate the 1088 as a 4, or rate the Nightstalker as a 2. Just be aware of the noise if you have neighbors close by. Overall, a very fun, inexpensive gun that will have you going through a lot of CO2 and pellets/BBs.

    Things I liked:

    Fairly cheap, semi auto.

    Things I would have changed:

It's plastic. looks and feels like toyish. Jams frequently, (especially with daisy pellets), but even with the crosman ones it jams a lot.

    What others should know:

If you want a co2 pistol it this price range I would get the crosman 357. I have it and it is much better than the 1088.

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

The Crosman 1088 is constructed relatively well and has a solid feel. It's quite accurate at close range and both sounds and feels quite powerful, especially when shooting the first dozen or so shots with a fresh CO2 cartridge. The kit also comes with a tin of .177 cal pellets and three CO2 cartridges which is great value for money.

    Things I would have changed:

Due to the gun primarily being made out of plastic it does feel like more of a toy. I would have liked it even more if it had been made out of a metal but that would have added even more weight to an already stocky gun. I also would have liked to have received an extra clip or two with the kit as constantly reloading the lone clip does become monotonous.

    What others should know:

You should consider purchasing extra clips. Shoot smart and always wear protective eye gear.

Fairly accurate. Good feel. Easy to shoot.

    Things I would have changed:

More magazines. Dovetail is on the bottom of the barrel. It would be nice to mount a dot sight to the top. Magazines are hard to reload in the field.

    What others should know:

If you order mazines, get three packs (total of nine). Those and the ones that the gun comes with will just about get you through a CO2 powerlet without having to reload magazines. Make sure that the latch engages completely after loading or the magazine may go flying.

    Things I would have changed:

    Things I would have changed:

    Things I liked:

I like how realistic it looks, like the package deal great value. CO2 compartment snaps together strong, better then other guns I've shot. Pretty accurate as well.

    Things I would have changed:

The clips feel cheap, almost like a cap gun. The gun is very light weight compared to my either CO2 Guns, most of the gun is plastic and although it looks real it feels cheap. Also, I don't know why but the other day the gun jammed and the clip flew out sending bbs in my direction. Luckily I was wearing the safety glasses it came with. No the bbs were not going at a high speed but still it was dangerous and I guess it was just a jam.

    What others should know:

Always use the proper safety equipment when shooting any gun, no matter what your shooting at. The one time you don't you'll regret it.
