Things I liked:

The look and feel of this rock. It feels like a powerful air gun. I love the all black. After market parts are out there.

Things I would have changed:

Larger caliber options. Upgraded version with wood handles. Add railings for scopes/sights. Replace the screw on the sights as it does not tighten up and I cannot adjust the sight at all. I wish there was a way to make this a repeater or to use a clip for pellets. Perhaps add a track on the breach so a horizontal clip could be used.

What others should know:

Great gun, just buy it and have fun already!

Things I liked:

None

Things I would have changed:

This pistol needs a better barrel, sights, breech, and pump lever mechanism(see below).

What others should know:

I found after shooting more than two dozen rounds that most pellets were hitting the target 1"-1 1/2" to the right of a 2" bullseye at 5 yds. This was with the windage adjustment on the rear sight all the way to the left. Also, the the forearm would hit the trigger guard if extra care was not taken on closing the lever. I notified the nearest Crosman Service Representative of the shooting issue. He indicated it would be at least a couple of weeks before he could get to it. He then contacted me that he found the barrel & the breech the problem. He recommended that I replace the barrel with a shorten DISCO barrel (factory replacements all have similar issues)& go to the steel breech. I then requested what could be done under warranty repair. He then proceeded to re crown the barrel & shorten transfer port seal to help the breech set flush. With the pistol back & windage sight still all the way to the left, it stayed in the bullseye at 5 yds but not 10 yds. Pyramyd Air gave a full refund.

    Things I liked:

I've only owned it for two weeks, but I like everything about it. It feels "substantial" in your hand - heft without being weighty. Operation is smooth on all counts, although some may have difficulty pumping past six pumps. And the styling is stunning - this gun is "classic" in more ways than one. Its look is timeless, I can't imagine this gun ever looking old.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing I would change.

    What others should know:

I highly recommend paying the $10 for 10 shots, and I purchased a warranty as well because I expect to use this gun a lot. The only other thing I'd say to potential customers is, "have fun!"

    Things I liked:

Well balanced. Comfortable grip. Tight groups with Crosman premier wadcutters.

    Things I would have changed:

Quality of the finish on the barrel. The outside of the barrel appears to have the blueing applied over over unfinished steel. The outside of barrel is very rough and had rust in the finish. Feels like you are running your hands over 80 grit sandpaper.

    What others should know:

The rear sight has marks for noting windage but has no function for adjusting for windage.

    Things I liked:

Light weight, seems to be well built (time will tell).

    Things I would have changed:

I personally would like a bit longer barrel; I added the shoulder stock.

    What others should know:

    It shoots accurately.

    Things I liked:

The price and it's easy to work on.

    Things I would have changed:

In .117 it seems to have a lot of power. I put 100 pellets through it at 6 pumps before going up to 10. I'll have to dig out my old chronigraph one of these days. But in my back yard 18x25 yards the pellets I shoot are there in an instant. Nothing excapes. You have to get really creative with scope mounting though. The barrel and the pump tube have to be made into one ridgid piece as good as you can get it. Then it will sight in very finely. That barrel is just too flexable on top of the float tube.

    What others should know:

If I were crosman I would make the gun at a 100.oo price point with a steal reciever and have the barrel pined to the reciever. And the same thing goes for the muzzle and get rid of that plastic thing. Make it out of aluminum.

    Things I liked:

The price is good. You can easily practice shooting at home. The aiming shooting is excellent and the power is strong.

    Things I would have changed:

I pumped 3 times and pulled the trigger, but sometimes I can't shoot.

    Things I liked:

My brother and I both purchased one of these pistols, mine was a tack driver, his was not. I have read about overspray in barrel issues, I suspect this is the case. Anyways, I have had mine for 10 years, I have oiled it twice, put ~1000 rounds through it. It is still as simple to use and as accurate as ever. Just purchased two more (with shoulder stock) for my kids. I love mine for fun, easy to use, low maintenance, plinking, and small pest control.

    Things I would have changed:

The pin that holds the cocking mechanism, tends to travel. It is easy to tap back in place. But it would be nice if i did not have to.

    What others should know:

I have not modified my pistol at all, I am planning on with my kids pistols. Did I mention, I have had this a long time, and I love it!!!!

Still accurate and capable of taking out squirrels, jays, and other pests.

    Things I would have changed:

I'd return to the earlier versions--- see below.

    What others should know:

This isn't the pistol it used to be. The brass fitting have been replaced with cheaper triggers and bolts, and the sights are not quite what they once were. Greed strikes again.

I like the way it feels in my grip. I had a rifle stock for my other Crossman pistol and installed it on this one. I like it even better this way. It's quiet enough with 3 pumps to shoot in my garage without hearing protection.

    Things I would have changed:

Everything ! The advertised fps and the wobbly Barrel ! the barrel is a years old problem you'd think crosman would have fixed by now !

    What others should know:

I have two of these guns Crosman says up to 695 fps ? In your dreams maybe !! the best I could get out of both the guns using 5.4 grain pellets was 425 fps ! Crosman live up to what you say or change your fps rating !! Guys a word to the wise unless you want to put $150.00 or more into this gun for upgrades spend your money on something else !!

    Things I liked:

Could not be more pleased ... or impressed ... with this air pistol. The accuracy of this $60 - $70 gun is simply amazing. This was my first experience with an air gun ... in fact, the first time firing anything with a trigger since getting out of the Army 50 years ago ... and I was more than satisfied (and surprised) with this pistol's accuracy as I extended the range from 15 feet to 60 feet in 5-foot increments.

    Things I would have changed:

For a stone cold rookie, not a thing.

    What others should know:

In a beginner's single-shot price range, this is it. (And don't forget your cleaning supplies. Love your weapon and your weapon will love you!)

    Things I liked:

I purchased this and a steel breach at the same time. I installed the breach and mounted a C/P red/green dot sight. I like the power and the trigger. I especially like not needing CO2 cartridges. Multi pump is a great feature, you really don't need 10 pumps. 3 works, 5 is good and 8 is wow.

    Things I would have changed:

Loading a .177 pellet is very tedious. Bolt handle should come with blue locktite on the threads.

    What others should know:

Written instructions for mounting the steel breach and the dot sight are hardly readable. What should have been a 5 to 10 minute assembly job ended up taking nearly an hour. Think Utube!

    Things I liked:

This is the second 1377 I've had and it is the same great pistol as before. The bolt works better than the old cover.

    Things I would have changed:

When trying to adjust the rear sight, it couldn't be tightened so it wouldn't pivot, making aiming inconsistent. This is disappointing.

    What others should know:

There is a replacement for the breech block to change it from polymer to steel, which includes a dovetail that takes a replacement sight that should make a great deal of difference in the sturdiness of the rear sight. However, the breech kit costs $39.99, and the sight costs 47.99, more than doubling the cost of the pistol.

    Things I would have changed:

    Things I liked:

Very easy to modify or up grade ( great platform ) . Mine includes a aluminum BNM breach that can accept the Marauder 10 round mag .177 or 22 caliber with there shroud system to quiet it down, also i can switch back and forth from .177 to 22 caliber with minor disassembly. Installed an adjustable folding stock to make a carbine. Changed out all the plastic so its wood and metal only.Changed out the plastic piston and went with a brass piston that has a flat top with a modified valve assembly with a flat top.Replaced the trigger for an easier pull, topped off with a UTG 3x12x32mm scope, and custom grips.

    Things I would have changed:

For the price nothing could be altered without raising the price ( totally up to the owner as to how far you want to go ).

    What others should know:

This can be completely changed or left in stock trim. There are so many parts available it boggles the mind. Hopefully my image will be posted?
