This 2.5in silver plated revolver licensed by Dan Wesson, offers realistic shooting fun in a handy size. It is one of a new generation of Dan Wesson airguns with a rifled inner barrel allowing the use of pellets; this improves both range and precision. It has authentic markings and an individual serial number stamped into the frame. The revolver features a double action trigger system and adjustable rear sight for extra realism and accuracy. The Dan Wesson revolver is made of metal except for the ergonomic grip constructed in hard ABS plastic. The 12g CO2 cartridge is stored in the grip and is easily accessed by sliding the grip back easy-load style. Each of the 6 cartridges holds one 4.5mm pellet and is placed in the metal cylinder that rotates as each round is fired. The revolver comes with black right-hand holster, speed-loader, attachable rail for optics and 6 heavy-duty all metal cartridges.
*If the gun is cocked, the manual safety will not engage. For the safety to engage, the gun must be uncocked. If you cock the gun and then try to engage the safety, you will still be able to pull the trigger...and the gun will shoot the projectile!
**Each shell should be loaded with one pellet and then loaded into the gun's cylinder.

I really love this pistol. The weight, the feel, even the trigger pull feels so authentic I almost expect a slug to come out of the barrel each time I fire it. Truely a work of art. I am sure Dan Wesson was proud to put his signature on it,
Things I would have changed:Maybe make the swing arm to swing out a little further, so the speed loader can drop in properly

Things I would have changed:unlike the real thing the chamber does not roll out far enough to use the speed loader properly.
What others should know:the reason i put the 1 star for accuracy is that i can't shoot an entire load without some i guess i would call them miss-fires or duds , and the reason for it is the part that is supposed to pierce the co2 tube does not go deep enough so i don't get a full charge for each shot ( i will be contacting the seller to see what can be done about this ) .....

Is this the same one as the 715? The listing for the 715 says its max velocity is 344fps and this one says its max velocity is 318 fps.
It is not the same gun as the 715.
What caliber pistol Does the Dan Wesson 2.5 imitate? I think it looks like a 38, and my brother says 45. HELP! lol
