Loud as a M$ther F$cker... Id add a better suppressor. Loud as a .22 lr.

Owned it for 2 days.. Took me more shots than I wanted to get it sighted in. Now I cant miss if I tried. Only shot out to 40 yds, but clipping water bottle caps at that distance. Going to sure up my confidence for deer season big time.

Persons considering this air rifle should know the high velocity comes at a price, the gun is a beast to cock, especially for a person my age (73) even if reasonably fit. However, that is not a GAMO design fault, I should have given this more consideration before the purchase. I only wish I could have had a hands on experience prior to purchase, which is not possible when when buying on-line. For younger air gunners this would be a great choice.

This gun is very powerful.

Cocking strength is needed. But you'll understand why when you pull the trigger this gun is a beast.

The stock feels so empty and most of the noise come from it. You can tell the difference between wood stock absorbing the noise and the recoil and a hallow plastic

I shoot the crow magnum pellets and they fully expand on impact with devastating results. When Im target shooting the pellet will go into the same hole as the prior shot most of the time.

Powerful. Seems accurate, though I need to run some more ammunition through it to know just how accurate it really is.

An adjustable cheek piece would be nice (see below for solution if you too find this to be a problem). I can't say I like the synthetic stock, but it works.

When I first got the Gamo Magnum, and installed the scope, I was unable to get a satisfactory cheek weld and a proper sight picture at the same time. The cheek piece/comb was simply too low and/or the scope too high. (This may be a result of my own experience with long guns. As always YMMV.) I got out a T20 torx bit and removed the scope riser, then mounted the scope directly on the rifle's spring tube dovetail. I left the rear stop and its two nylon pins in place. With this simple change I am now able to get a satisfactory cheek weld and a proper sight picture. Sole real problem solved. Note that I never give maximum ratings since I feel I lack an understanding of what maximum should be in anything. As such, for me a 4 out of 5 is as high as it gets.

Great customer service. First time purchaser and I was apprehensive to buy because of the negative reviews. Easy to purchase, gun cane in a day before expected. It was missing the repeated magazine. I wasnt going to use it for a few days so I figured ok. I called and thought this was going to be a hassle. Nope. They send one out with a question and had it in 3 days. I can only speak for my experience but I will buy from them again.

Hits hard. Very consistent..it can drop a raccoon at 15yards humanly..

Mine likes heavier pellets at 25 yards can get nickel size groups ... light pellets roughly a quarter ..

Cocking this gun is hard, use 2 hands!! While the gas ram is tough, the barrel and how it's linked to the block isn't. While it broke on me due to my carelessness ( I lost my grip, you can imagine) I already had doubts as to how long it would last. as it started to rust in said area 2 days out of the box. That being said, the breech seal was bad and had to be replace. For 300 I kind of expect better quality. I see no point in repairing it, (gamo's costumer service isn't the best) I also won't get a replacement. I'm hoping to at least get my money back. The more I get into this hobby, the more I realize that magnum springers aren't worth the headache. Great gun though lol. Makes me wonder if the barrel is linked the same way on the swarm magnum. If you like the challenge that a magnum Springer gives, this one is rewarding. As far as longevity,probably not.

very accurate rifle well built this is a serious hunting rifle gotta use heavy pellets i use 13.4gr and i can stretch this thing out to 175 yards easy thats all the distance i had at 75 yards its stlll got a ton of knock down power put well over 2000 pellets through it so far no issues got a 24x scope on it and i can hit a .22 shell on the primer side at 30 meters every time this was an awesome add to my growing collection

get a good scope and mount this rifle is good to hunt small game and good for target shooting and with the heavy pellets im clocking in at 1000 fps 13.4 gr

Excellent rifle. Power from it is amazing. Great for hunting puts small game down easy without them suffering.

The scope could be a little better but for the price its great.

If your looking for a good hunting gun this is it the .22 gets the job done. Gamo red fire ammo works best. The 51lb cocking might be tough for some. If it is tough consider going to the glorious house of gains to get in shape enough to use this lovely air rifle.
