Things I liked:

Let me start by saying, what a good looking gun this is. Very stout yet not so intimidating as some other hatsans (walther talon). Behaves very well as both plinking or serious hunting platform.

Things I would have changed:

stiff, which I am sure will improve with use.I am reffering to the cocking effort. (not complaing, just an observation)

What others should know:

This rifle has the power and most definlety the looks to rival rws and other eleite spring rifles

Things I liked:

The wood is nice.

Things I would have changed:

Good looking and seems to be well made but this gun does not shoot any better than a smooth bore, will not group well.

What others should know:

Hatsun is known for well made air rifles but the one I bought has left me very disappointed.

    Things I liked:

Cocking effort is good. Walnut stock is nice. Fiber optic sights are good. Seems to be well made.

    Things I would have changed:

    Needs a better trigger.

    What others should know:

I have tried six or seven different pellets with a total of more than 1000 shots. The ones that work best are 5.52, 5.54 and 5.55 mm. Using the scope and at 10 yards I have never been able to achieve anything better than a three-quarter inch spread. It should be better. The trigger is terrible. The second stage can be adjusted by turning the second screw in or out. Turning in the screw will lighten the pull, but when this is done to achieve reasonable pull the first stage of the trigger disappears. So, to keep the first stage, the second stage remains extremely heavy.

    Things I liked:

The stock is very nice for the price, Fills solid in my hands, cocking is on the upper end of required strength but manageable. The sights are bright and easy to see. Over all very nice for the price.

    Things I would have changed:

Leave the lousy scope out of the package. Mine constantly shot low no matter how much elevation I gave it. Don't really need it anyway.

    What others should know:

It is a spring gun so expect "Ka-chonknnnn" after sending pellet down range. JSB 18.3 gr pellets gave me about 792fps while crosman 17gr HP delivered almost 850fps. Both were lead and not alloy. Accuracy was average out to about 30 yards.

    Things I liked:

This 95 hatsan rifle is not only beautiful but a great accurate rifle. After dialing in scope it’s deadly.I don’t miss at all hitting 2 & 3 inch steel spinners from 35 yards out.

    Things I would have changed:

Personally the only thing I would change is a better scope and maybe trying to make rifle lighter. But a sweet springer imo.

    What others should know:

Just get one if ur on the fence.

    Things I liked:

A Sweet Rifle. The walnut stock is gorgeous and adds just enough weight to the rifle to absorb those pesky vibrations which can throw off accuracy in light weight spring air rifles. The Hatsan 95 feels like a "firearm." I added a Hammers 3x9x40 variable scope which came with one piece mount/rings. I've put over 200 rounds through it sighting in, and have dispatched several large predators with one shot apiece at distances from 10 to 30 yards. A very accurate rifle. However, like ALL rifles, it is hold sensitive and the Artillery Hold works best for me. Remember to use proper breathing techniques too, if you want to shoot better than your buddies. My average shot groups of five at 30 yards are 3/4" and under on windy days (usually L or R quartering tail winds,) with 3/8" and under groups the normal on dead calm days. No bench/rest. That's good accuracy for a "Springer" air rifle. Mine shines with the JSB Exact Jumbo Diabolo in either 15.89 or the 18.13 size.

    Things I would have changed:

Offer a "Carved Comb" version in the walnut stock. A carved comb would likely make target acquisition a little quicker for those who hunt.

    What others should know:

An Under $200 Spring Air Rifle that is accurate, very aesthetically pleasing, and feels like a "firearm." You really can't go wrong with this air rifle. Just remember to practice using the Artillery Hold and not rely solely on a bench rest. After all, if you use this rifle for hunting or plinking at the gravel pit, you likely won't have a "bench rest" with you. Learn and practice correct breathing techniques for air rifle shooting too. So many people complain about inaccurate "guns" when in fact it is their own lack of correct technique and failure to practice which is really at fault; Not the "gun." Remember, Patience Pays. Learn the rifle and practice, practice, practice.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate and powerful, 20 FPE. The trigger can be made very good with a ballpoint pen "spring" and "3mm thick, 12mm long" after market screws for the trigger. I made a video of this on YouTube. The price is right, at 165$ for such a quality rifle. The wood stock is very nice. It has very useable open sights, to me this is a must. Easy to cock. This is a great, accurate, hunting, plinking rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

This is the second Hatsan 95 22, from Pyramid Air. The front sight of the first one broke the first day. Accuracy was all over the place. I did a pellet to bore test and the pellet fell through the barrel, when it passed the breach block. So that rifle was sent back. The second rifle came with a scratch on the barrel, the breach seal was damaged and the "transfer port nut" was lose. I did a pellet to bore test again, this time it passed. BTW, Pyramid Air told me that they would do this test for me, then a nother rep told me that I was being lied to, not good. Once I fixed those problems, I did a 10 shot group under a quarter at 20 yards. Now, I knew this was a shooter. Then I did the trigger mod and accuracy improved even more. I can easily put 5 under a dime at 20 yards. Okay, what I would change? Quality control at Hatsan and honesty at Pyramid Air and putting the customer first and doing what they ask. I would have paid them for doing this easy task, but it was too hard for them.

    What others should know:

Don't waste money on the 10 for 10 test, when the Hatsan's need a pellet to bore test. Do the testing your self and if it's a lemon, send it back. It is worth the hassle to get a good Hatsan 95. If your rifle is accurate, add a trigger mod and get ready for some major fun. I definitely like this rifle and the hassle was worth it. My rifle likes CPHP, CPUM 14.3 and H&N FTT 14.66 pellets. Things I liked:

Very solid and well made. Powerful and accurate enough for plinking and pest control. The rifle handles well for an adult to use. Great for backyard use.

    Things I would have changed:

The supplied scope is useless. Take it off, run over it with you car and replace it with a mid-range good scope and rings. The "iron" sights are pretty useless too, as the rear sight has way to much play and the sight radius is to short. They would be better off selling this as a rifle only and knocking $10 more dollars off, or provide a rear peep sight.

    What others should know:

Pick out your scope when you buy it.

    Things I liked:

Solid built, nice hard wood stock, good trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

Quality control is a major problem at Hatsan. I did a pellet to bore test, after cleaning the barrel, because of pore accuracy. I did a video last night on the YouTube on this issue. Also the fiber optic broke and the breach seal fell out of the rifle, not good. Also the rifle is extremely over lubed in the compression chamber, because fire came out of the barrel for the first 4 shots.

    What others should know:

I did order through Pyramid Air and they better honer their commitment to take back faulty rifles. I will ask them to do a pellet to bore test on a new Hatsan 95 22 and I advise you the consumer to do the same also. I don't know if they will do it, but if they consider the costomer is right and first, they will do it. Lastly if you get a good barrel and the rifle functions correctly, then it will be worth the money. Spring Piston Rifle Fever {:-)!

    Things I liked:

Not a bad rifle, I can see small sanding marks in the wood finish. The metal finish is fine. The directions in the manual are not the best. Manual does not tell you how to first cock the rifle, had to call Pyramyd Air. They informed me of the proper way to open the barrel to cock it. [tap the front of the barrel to open it] This is my first air rifle and I did not know that. Also manual did not describe where to oil the air rifle. Pyramid Air was great to deal with. Received the rifle in just a few days.

    Things I would have changed:

More detail in the owners manual. Better finish on the wood stock.

    Things I liked:

Fairly straight forward to shoot. Able to get good beginner results relatively quickly within 30 yards. With practice and the right equipment, will provide countless hours of plinking, pesting, and even small game hunting fun! Have done mostly target shooting between 5 and 50 yards, but primarily bought this .25 cal springer to dispatch predators going after our livestock. So far have not run into our worst fear, a coyote, but have taken rabbits, squirrels, and a few other invasive (per IDNR) species in short and longer distances. Definitely able to quickly and humanely dispatch these smaller animals.

    Things I would have changed:

Big surprise here, but the scope sucks. I would rather get rid of the scope and save some cash to get a good scope. I would also swap the 11mm dovetail rail for a Picatinny or Weaver mount since the gun has quite a bit of kick and the scope will just keep sliding back in the O-rings if using a 2 piece scope mount. At one point, the stock scope and mounts came flying off since the O-ring mount somehow got damaged and didn't fit properly on the dovetail. I added a Weaver adapter and a Bug Buster scope and everything seems to work much better. The gun itself is good as is in my, albeit beginner, opinion. It is a bit hard to cock for those who skipped arm day. I usually have to cock the rifle for my wife when we are shooting together, but she also may just like watching me cock and load the rifle for her lol ;)

    What others should know:

First time airgunner here, so I do have a lot to learn, but I have put about 900-ish pellets through this gun in 3 months I have had it and have learned quite a lot. In that time, I have tried about every variation of .25 cal ammo I could get my hands on; lead, lead-free, domed, pointed, wadcutter, slugs, standard hollowpoint, cross hollowpoint, and mainly from H&N, JSB, and Benjamin. So far, my favorites are the JSB King, H&N Field Target Trophy, H&N Barracuda, H&N Barracuda Green, and Benjamin (Aka Crosman) Premier. Were able to get the JSB King's to consistently get within an inch group anywhere between 5 and 25 yards, with many groups less than that. Some of the Barracuda hollowpoints do OK, but not as great as the solids. By far the worst were the hollowpoint slugs. No consistency and all over the target at any distances. Didn't matter what brand or weight, they all did bad. As for holds, I have had best results directly resting the gun on a slick bag, with no artillery hold.

    Things I would have changed:

I didn't realize how heavy or how long it would be, and how hard it would be to cock. It may be more powerful than I needed, but that will help for those who shoot pay longer ranges.

    What others should know:

Pay attention to weight and length. A young shooter may struggle with those and the strength needed to cock it.

    Things I liked:

So I just got this rifle in the .25 and my buddy got his in .22 a week ago. I will say that both rifles in both caliber's shoot amazingly well he was using the crossman premier domes in his .22 and I was shooting the JSB 25.39 grains in the .25. Both guns are extremely accurate and I am very impressed with both. they are both well made and the woods stock looks amazing. mine was shooting so accurate with the open site's right out of the box quarter size groups at 30yrds with open site's. once I put the included scope on I was stacking one on top of the other. in other word's this thing is a tack driver and I have not even broke it in yet. we both where about to hit pop cans out to 61yrds with both .22 and the .25 with no problems. this rifles are hold sensitive but using the artillery hold seems to work best with them. over all I am very impressed with both the .22 and the ,25 so much so that I told my buddy I am going to buy the .22 cal one as well. this is definitely a great buy!!

    Things I would have changed:

a better trigger would be nice as mine has a lot of side to side play in it which I am going to try and figure out how to fix but my buddies did not have as much play in his. still shoots great and does not effect it but it should be a little better in my opinion.

    What others should know:

I tried the JSB and the FX pellets in the .25 and it shot great with both so either choice would be great in the .25 cal version so I am sure the .22 will be no different.
