Things I liked:

Solid gun, pkging was really good! Very quiet!

Things I would have changed:

Maybe include a new style of fill adapter that has a quick conn. Already machined in, so you don't need to purchase an adapter.

What others should know:

I have the .25 cal, way quieter than I was expecting!

Things I liked:

As with any Hatsan you buy, it's a hit or miss on whether you get a good product or a dud. I have owned 2 Hatsan's before this one and had to return both of them because of a defect. I thought I would give them one more chance on a higher end model, but I had return it also because of a defect.

Things I would have changed:

Hatsan really needs to up their quality control checks. This was partly PA's fault also, I had requested they pump the air cylinder up after test firing it, and if they had done this, it's possible they would have discovered that the cylinder wouldn't fill with a hand pump. The automatic safety stuck open also, but I managed to get it working, but it was still very stiff.

What others should know:

It's possible that it being this time of the year, but PA's customer service was slow to respond to my requests. My having to return the rifle could have possibly been avoided it they would just answer the phone or return a call once a message is left. The only time I got a reponse from them was after I did the online form to return the item. I also called Hatsan for help plus emailing them, and I have yet to hear from them. I even included a note with my returned rifle that I would except an exchange for another brand, but would they please call me to discuss. Again, never got a call, even to tell me they wouldn't do this.

    Things I liked:

This was my first pcp rifle and it's been awesome! It's got everything I wanted since I was young. My favorite would be how quiet it is compared to brake barrel rifles. I've had very good experience with its accuracy on Crossman domed pellets. I've been able to shoot accurately up to 100 yards with maybe 1.5 inch groups.

    Things I would have changed:

I don't really have any complaints about the rifle itself but something I don't like when I use this rifle is that I know I'm going to end up having to pump the tank, which can be exhausting.

    What others should know:

It is a relatively heavy rifle. I personally don't think it's too heavy since I workout but all my friends say it's too heavy to carry around for hours.

    Things I liked:

This is a power house of an air rifle. I have this in .25 cal and it will put the hurting to medium size pests. I've shot raccoons, possums, and of course all kinds of smaller critters. It's quiet, especially with a DonnyFl Sumo sticking on the end. I have an extra air tank so I can hunt all day without having to go back to the truck to refill. It is deadly accurate out to 50-75 yards which is my normal shooting distance. It isn't light by no means, but I have heavier guns, and I'm 68 years old. I usually use a bipod or shooting sticks so no big problem. If your looking for a budget priced hunting rifle with plenty of smack down, look no further.

    Things I would have changed:

A little lighter but that's only a dream.

    What others should know:

This is a nice rugged hunting air rifle. I think it's a great price alternative to the Benjamin Marauder, which I also have and love. I think they are both equal in performance imho.

Overall function of the rifle. Ease of operation, accuracy, and fit and finish.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not much. Lose some weight.

    What others should know:

Bought rifle, scope, hand pump, and soft case. Packaging was absolutely abysmal. The original Hatsan box was perforated in several areas with both end panels on the same end showing signs that the barrel had perforated the box. The muzzle brake had 3 inches of sticky adhesive on it. I just can't believe PA sends that to a customer. The rifle had no plastic sleeve on it, so what did I get??? Used??, Returned???. May order pellets, but I'm done ordering expensive guns from them.

    Things I liked:

Out of the box accuracy is exceptional out of the box. With it not being regulated I found the sweet spot on mine to be fillied to 175 bar. To achieve more potential out of the air rifle I put lane lancet regulator in it and it is a tack driver at hunting distances. I took a sparrow with it on my last hunting trip at 75 yards. I also like that it come with two rotary magazines.

    Things I would have changed:

The sling leaves a lot to be desired. It is extremely noisy and feels cheap unlike the rest of the air rifle.

    What others should know:

For an entry level pcp this will check all the boxes. Put a quality scope on it and you will not be dissatisfied with the purchase.

I adore this rifle, I have the .22, and with JSB Exact heavy 18.13 grain pellets I can put 5 into the same hole at 25 yards. Shoots like a match grade rifle when you're dialed in. VERY quiet, you could shoot the devil in church and not jack the rhythm. Action cycles very smoothly and crisply.

    Things I would have changed:

Magazines could be polished a little, to help feed a tad smoother, if anything.

    Things I liked:

I have to give this rifle 5 stars all around because it is extremely accurate right out of the box, has good fit and finish and represents a solid value for the money. I bought the .22 version and also own the long version in .22 with a walnut stock. I bought the synthetic short version because I believe the stock will stand up better to wet weather.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see a high pressure quick connect fitting on the air cylinder as I feel it would be easier to use.

    What others should know:

This is a nice gun for the money, well finished and powerful.

    Things I liked:

Purchased the 25 cal & the 20/20. It arrived as a tack driver! Fairly quiet & at 25 to 45 yards hitting a dime is NO problem. My squirrel problem is now under control! The gun is heavy & the trigger is great.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like it a little lighter but if that would make it less accurate then keep it heavy.

    What others should know:

I use a hand pump & it fills very easy. Get the 20/20 - a great time saver & if anything is wrong, it will be fixed before U get the gun. The 25 cal has some serious knock down Power!!!

    Things I liked:

First impression of the entry level pcp was very good. It is solid in the hands and very accurate with a nice hawke scope mounted to it. I am getting 25 shots starting a 175 bar with an extreme spread of 11fps shooting the jsb diablo exact king 25.39gr pellet. It is a pleasure to shoot and very comparable to my friends marauder in 25. His is heavily modified and he gets 40 for 40. Not something would expect to obtain with a smaller air cylinder on my hatsan but none the less it shoots pretty darn accurate for not being regulated. The only big issue I have with it is that the air cylinder started to leak on me after 6 months of owning the air rifle. I am going to be installing a lane regulator here soon and will investigate then why it is leaking.

    Things I would have changed:

A better sling, a non leaking air cylinder, and a bit more air capacity.

    What others should know:

    This thing love jsb's!!

    Things I liked:

I got the .22 version, with the 10 for 10 test. Extremely accurate; is possible to get a one hole group (literally the size of a single pellet) at 20ish yards (thats the maximum distance of my backyard; will update when I get to shoot longer ranges) with JSB 15.89 grain pellets. Pumps quite easily with the MK4 Hill Pump (invest in it, its fantastic), at around 80~90 pumps from 100 bar to 200 bar. Takes around 3~5 minutes per fill. Shoots almost exactly 40 shots as advertised from 200 to 100 bar. Trigger is nice and light right out of the box.

    Things I would have changed:

It is a bit heavy, but hey, thats personal preference. Would not exactly be the walking in the woods type gun, more of a "shoot anything the size of a quarter under 100 yards" type gun. Shooting offhand may be a challenge for some shooters. Using the free bipod that comes with this gun is sufficient to retain superb accuracy. It is a bit tricky to load single shots, having to tilt the gun this way and that before the pellet finally lands inside the chamber. Then again, it is supposed to be a magazine oriented rifle.

    What others should know:

A bit heavy and cumbersome. The white stuff that comes in a small bag is actually all purpose lubricant. Use very small amounts of it on the O rings. If you are attaching the fill probe to a MK4 Hill pump (the non-drypack version here on PA), then just screw it right on tightly to the female bsp. It does come with two magazines; more than one should need for both pinking and hunting.

    Things I liked:

Got mine in .25. At first when I cleaned it i didn't bother to disassemble it when it cleaned the barrel out, accuracy was unpredictable one group would be 7 shots in would be within a half inch then the last 2 would be 2 or 3 inches in either direction. Next group wouldn't even group. Next time I cleaned it i took the time to take it apart and saw clear as day all the access oil around the breech end of the rifle, around the transfer port and in the receiver where you insert the barrel into. Naturally I found some in the barrel to from it coughing it all up when I cleaned it again, certainly not helping my accuracy. Cleaned properly and back together in dire need to shoot and see if that fixed the issue, only it's 30 degrees outside with constant winds with 20mph or so gusts. At roughly 42 yards I nailed down 2 groups at just under an inch. Cold, wind and a few shivers thrown in I'm very impressed. So far only ran the jsb kings through it and It seems to love them.

    Things I would have changed:

Not a thing so far I really like this rifle. What I would have changed is my initial laziness would have saved that first tin of jsb kings I plowed through trying to figure out what was going on.

    What others should know:

This platform is stupid simple to break down and work on/clean. Dont lazy out on the initial cleaning as I did. Also take the time to check your magazines, both of mine were marring up both the sides of the head and skirt of the pellets. I used some 320 grit sandpaper rolled up to smooth out the sharp edges left over from casting. A dremel would be 10 times as fast though, just didn't have mine on hand so sand paper it was. Have a second gen M-rod in. 22, I love it but if I had to choose either or I think I'd go with the at-44. I'm even a lefty saying that with my M-rod bolt flipped just for me haha. Love how the hatsan shoulders and feels.

Hatsan AT44S-10 QE in .177 cal is my first PCP and I think it is awesome. It may be a tad overpowered for light pellets but you can adjust the hammer spring tension during a tuning process and that may help. I may regulate it, however, I can get 20 really good shots unregulated. Mounted a scope and headed to a friends house to do some testing.. Within 10 shots I was zero at 30 yards then we moved out to 50 yards. I was happy to discover that several different pellets flew well. JSB 13.43 were punching one holes (1/2 inch), tried some Newboy 15.8 and got the same results (1/2 inch groups). I chrono'd the Newboy 15.8, from 200 bar to 100 bar I got 50 shots (I uploaded the results). Newboy 15.8 grain 905 FPS and 28 FPE... Min 770 FPS and 20 FPE. Crosman 7.4 grain, 1160 FPS and 22 FPE, Crosman 10.5 grain, 1024 FPS with 24 FPE. This is one mean .177 cal. At 100 yards, 15.8 grain, yields 11 FPE. My goal is a tennis ball at 150 yards.
