Things I liked:

WOW - VERY accurate, talk about easy - fit my hand like a glove. This is a pistol, forget the P2 with the snap on stock to make a semi carbine - better to get an AT44 or BT65 if that's what you think you need. Love this pistol... even great for shakey old man (66 yrs old) like me. Got great shots at reasonable pistol distances (40 to 70 FEET). Just add a dot sight, zero in... and rock!

Things I would have changed:

Make it more compact without losing great balance

Things I liked:

easy to load, fun to shoot

Things I would have changed:

a case that can hold the gun with the scope, once the scope is on, the case is useless. problem with trigger and safety, would fire sometimes when safety was pushed to off. Gun was kind of hard to hold, should of got the stock for it. took some time to smooth out the lever. kinda picky with pellets. would I buy another one? No. Also didn't like where the fill hole is located, can't lay the gun down flat because of the position of the fill hole, has to be propped up. .

What others should know:

If you decide to get this gun, get it with the stock.

    Things I liked:

very good pcp airpistol for its money. Impressive looks, bit heavy but gets used to it. Nice power at 27 Joules, could do have a bit more. Surprising good shootting with this Hatsan ATP-1

    Things I would have changed:

nothing really but perhaps a 7-10 Joules more power on next gen pistols

    What others should know:

My relative small heands, it fits perfect. Worth the money. For people who have less idea about airpressurized wapons: 27 Joules is still powerfull, be carefull with that!

    Things I liked:

well made pistol with great balance. it is a bit heavy, but with a 2 handed grip its fine. Probably not recommended for young people. Magazine and action are fine, just don't force anything. I have it in .22, plenty of power, watch your backstop. I have a nice dot scope on it works great, quick target acquisition, you could mount a rifle scope, but I would rather have a little challenge. If I want to shoot blueberries off toothpicks I'll use my AA510 scoped....

    Things I would have changed:

the case....... I got a case you could fit a carbine into ( I did.......) Not sure if it was a mix up cause of holiday.... I bought a NCStar ViSn soft case off Amazon. Fits great with storage pouches.....$23

    What others should know:

Very quiet...... very back yard friendly....very accurate its for righties, you can trim existing grips (rubber) order left hand grips from Hatsan USA or make your own wood grips.......... just buy it, you'll like it

    Things I liked:

I wrote a very different comment yesterday and need to correct it. I had contacted Hatsan with no reply and figured my purchase of the Hatsan ATP1 was a bad buy because it is for right-handed people only; or so I thought. BUT, Hatsan did reach out to me and informed me that they do indeed have left-hand grips for this airgun than can be easily swapped for the right-hand ones that come on it initially. They are shipping me out a pair.

    Things I would have changed:

Inform the people who buy your products of the different arrangements that can be had on those products. No where in the description of the Hatsan ATP-1 does it say that the gun is for right-handed people only (which is how it comes from the factory) OR that you can purchase a left-hand conversion kit.

    Things I liked:

Powerful, quiet, compact. This thing packs a punch. METAL magazine take notes other companies the metal mags are far superior to those plastic ones most other companies use today have not a single problem with jams or rotation. Also removable air cylinder another wonderful feature.

    Things I would have changed:

A little less bulky would love to see hatsan release a multi shot big bore pistol maybe a .30

    What others should know:

If you are considering purchasing this pistol don't hesitate it is worth its weight and gold.

    Things I liked:

Wow! This pistol is very quiet. Like I thought it was weird mistake the first time I fire it, and to be honest, I pressed the trigger not knowing it had air. So quiet, while in the garage (that is where my electronic pump lives) I fired off a second shot. Again very quiet. So now I had to get my trusty little sound meter and get a real number. I live behind a somewhat busy street so my meter normally stays around 69 db so I was stoked that pressing the trigger only to me up to 79 db. What 79 db! Yes that was all it did from roughly 3 days of breaking the Hatsan QEA Pistol. Okay so nothing is perfect, this gun is very heavy. In fact, I dont really consider it as being a pistol but more like a cross over between a pistol and a rifle. The graphic on the website really don't provide you a clear picture of how big the gun is.

    Things I would have changed:

The gun is very heavy and you should not purchase a pistol scope for the gun because it is really heavy. I basically tried a pistol scope (sucked), Red Dot (actually really good target acquisition and shot grouping) and a rifle scope best groupings and bullseye hits once adjusted.

    What others should know:

It is heavy and it is a beast! Do I like it, freaking A yes I am loving it. I has taken 3 days to get it tuned to my personal standard but now, this is going to be my go to tool for issues between 17 to 30 yards. Hey did I say 30 yards for a pistol, yes I did but, remember, I am calling this Hatsan offering a crossover. Cost wise for an air pistol for around the house, this one is going to cost you half a cruise ship payment but heck, consider 3-7 days versus months or up to a year of backyard dominance. My wife is not feeling that comment but folks, shooters, you feel me right?

    Things I liked:

Quiet. Very accurate, one hole 5 shot groups at 10 meters. Powerful, this baby packs a punch. Comfortable to shoot, if you are a right hander then you will love these grips, if you are a lefty then contact Hatsan because they have universal grips for $20 or $30 that they will ship to you. Easy to fill. Good trigger, it breaks cleanly and is not sloppy at all.

    Things I would have changed:

The automatic safety sucks, I wish it could be disabled. The feed mechanism for the magazine tends to not function properly occasionally. About one in 20 shots the magazine/feed mechanism will fail to properly advance and work properly. Also, the little brass knob for the magazine release bolt broke off almost right away. The bolt still functions, but the knob was screwed onto such a thin threaded rod that the rod snapped.

    What others should know:

Overall this is a great shooter, especially for the money. There are minor issues like the magazine bolt knob breaking that you will probably encounter due to the overall fit and finish that you probably won't find from more expensive guns, but overall I love this piece. One last note, I contacted Hatsan's customer service because the grips on this gun are right handed. They were able to get me universal grips very quickly and for only a few bucks and they were very nice to deal with.

    Things I liked:

Fun little gun. I have a BullBoss, and thought something more portable would be fun, given I have the fill tool already. I really didn't need it, and am not sure what I'm going to do with it, but it's fun to shoot - i put a 1x red-dot site on it that I had laying around and it seems to be perfect. Didn't take long to site it, and in the .25, WOW does it have a lot of power. Be sure you have plenty behind your target to stop the pellets. WAY more energy than the .22 BullBoss.

    Things I would have changed:

Well, it's a tweener. Not really a pistol form factor - a lot bigger. Not really a carbine w/o the extra stock. I don't really get it's point. :-) Also, not a good hunting gun unless you have it on a rest. Accuracy is great, but limited to how well you can hold a heavy pistol. Even with two hands, hard to keep a hold on a target 25 yrds away.

    What others should know:

Easy to fill, easy to cock, fun to shoot. MUCH louder than I expected. Don't believe the sound numbers published. The BullBoss is rated louder but is quieter.

    Things I liked:

The Hatsan AT P1 QE 25 caliber air pistol is a well designed. My first impression was it seemed to be extremely large. The pistol grip is ergonomically suits the hand, it is was well balanced, comes with 2 magazines, easy to load, super quite, very accurate and shooting it is addictive. The decals help to enhance the appearance, its just stealthy wicked and about business. I had a problem with this pistol and returned to PA. I had to wait a couple of weeks on the exchange and considering exchanging it for the predecessor with the rifle stock. However, I am glade that didn't make that decision cause its more challenging to hold a pistol than to shoulder a stocked one.

    Things I would have changed:

The air pistol is optics ready, it has a picatinny 11 mm rail. When I mounted my scope the carrying case became obsolete, there is no room for it. However, somebody had a great idea for a pistol that had permanent sights, but missed the mark to be exceptional package.

    What others should know:

I mounted a BSA Red Dot Scope 30mm on the AT P1 a union to be reckoned with either JSB 25.5 grain pellets or the AA Diablo 25.39 grain pellets.. The grouping with a 9 shot stings at 15 yards is the size of a Quarter and 25 yards is just about the size of Half a Dollar. This air pistol is very impressive and will perform with pellets stacked one on top of each other. The first 4 shoots will be high, your shot placement with red dot needs to be aimed at the target at least a 1 1/2 inches low then come up to spot on. A little practice will confirm this as you become familiar with air pistol.

    What others should know:

buy one, if you like power this has it im able to shoot it in my back yard just make sure there strong enough stopping behind your target because it will go through 3/4 plywood stronger than my 22cal rifle real bullets with out the bang, just going green , in sence, buy one im waiting for the 357 carvor hatsan is a great brand id tryout there products anyday love to shoot and these guys have made some good air guns
